Those who are saying they can't connect to Naina or they find Naina selfish... you guys won't be able to ever connect unless you fall in the same situation as hers! Neither Sameer nor Naina are perfect, infact NOBODY is perfect in this real world and then these are fictional characters. Stop comparing Sameer and Naina they are two DIFFERENT individuals with only one common thing, LOVE! They love each other wholeheartedly and eternally and I don't think there is any need to prove it!

The voice overs clearly indicate Mera Sameer and Meri Naina which only proves how much they love each other and stand by each other
They are telling their story so beautifully
And whatever ppl feel Naina or Sameer should do ,will clearly not happen , because what CV's are showing and are gng to show what happened already in the lives of the leads.
If ppl still try to find loopholes in any character ,they just have to realise that they are banging their heads unnecessarily.

It's a beautiful love story of the makers
Just sit bk and enjoy

I agree with you completely. You can't understand another person until and unless you also go through the same life experiences that the other person had. That's why even twins also react differently in same situation. Always our view about a character or a situation will be heavily influenced by our life experiences which is different from both The character. Is a person had somewhat similar kind of experiences then they may understand them bit more that others.
Here both Sameer and Naina are truly dedicated to each other and they love wholeheartedly. But because of the family circumstances, financial dependency and gender difference the way how they react to certain issues differ. Whether on those days or these days, catching a boy and girl alone in a locked classroom is a big issue. Here principal found that they were hugging each other. Any responsible teacher will immediately escalate the issue to the family members and will take necessary action on it. For sameer because of the financial and gender privalages, missing an year in studies is not a big issue compared to Naina. If she is in a similar situation then her family will surely kill her and Sameer. Or else they may immediately stop her studies and marry her off to any alliance that they get. That stain on her character may even stay life long. It is not their problem but it is the problem on how society is seeing and treating a boy and girl differently.
