I had so many expectations from Cvs but they have let me down. They could have done so much more than this like bond over Sameer's antics, talk more in depth about his history and time in delhi , the manhoosiyat phase and especially talk about Nanu's importance in Sameer's life. I honestly can understand that they didn't have the time to show all of this but could have at least incorporated some of this for the depth that CVs had woven so well in other tracks.

totally agree...
I just wanted them to talk about Sameer and vishkha wanting to know how Naina sees Sameer in different phases.. if she wanted to understand her and their love..

Talk about school times and college times and how he has become more responsible and matured in studies... and how she did it or something on those lines...

but the questions were so off didnt make any sense and why were they talkinga bout it at all?

totally a let down... I even felt naina was behaving so weirdly...

I can understand they wanted to show Naina's nervousness and Vishaka's apprehension but in doing that they completely butchered Naina's character. It would have been unrealistic if this went very smoothly but its become weirder with the way it went. Vishaka only got to see Naina's confidence and strength not her unconditional love or purity of character. I honestly would have forgiven the Cvs if they hadnt made Naina look almost obsessive.

I really expected that there will be some dialogue about Nanu but it was disappointing...the sort of questions Vishaka was asking and Naina's answer to it was absurd... I dont know what to expect of the convo between Vishaka and Naina. It was poorly executed...Naina was totally different from her real self, she was answering as if she was obsessed with Sameer in school days. The purity of their love was not even mentioned properly...

I can understand some of the questions that Vishaka had asked because Sameer is rich and handsome and she was scared her son wasnt blinded by love. But Naina's responses lacked depth. In trying to show her loyalty to Sameer Cvs tipped the schools by making her look too clever. What if Vishaka thinks that this girl is too chalu and is behind her son for money and good looks. She didn't get to see anything that would convince her otherwise.

I agree.. Naina's dialogues did not reflect the unconditional love she has for Sameer. It did not show what Sameer means to her. It felt as if she wanted Sameeer and was desperate for him. The way she said she would not give up and will get what she decides. It was totally opposite to Naina. When Vishaka asked Naina about the baba phase she told she will not go against her family but did not say that she was equally hurt and that henceforth she would never leave Sameer. Any mother would doubt about the girl who left her son. Naina's dialogues in no way assured Vishaka that she is the perfect match for Sameer...

So true, I wish they had shown the innocent side of Naina and her pure love for Sameer by asking more sensible questions. Like, will you support him even if looses all his money? Or how will you support/help Sameer to handle the business. How did you handle Sam when Nanu died? Thank you for getting him out of manhoosiyat. Also, she could have ask her career related questions just to get to know her better as V already know N is a topper. They could have share some light moments too by talking about Sameer's antics.. I was so hopeful.

@BOLD This is the major flaw here I think. Vishaka has only seen how deeply and irrevocably Sameer loves Naina. Its even been pointed out that he would pretty much die without her. But even though Naina showed a strong foundation in their love, it kind of made Sam look too dependant on Naina. If Naina had mentioned her views on their separation properly Vishaka could have seen that Naina is equally dependent on Sameer's love. That would have salvaged the meeting for me and would have made me forgive the lapse of judgement in portraying Naina as behind Sameer.

Yes the innocent, pure Naina who thought of as pyar as pooja was missing today. Granted there were some dialogues I liked too but they didnt weigh in compared to how much I disliked the way SamAina's magical bond has been reduced to obsession. Vishaka wanted to see if Naina was strong enough to handle Sameer's fragile and delicate inner child. But the Cvs overdid it and made it look like Vishaka wasn't interested in Naina as a person at all. Which is something you won't expect from Vishaka. She seemed like the kind of character who would genuinely be interested to know the interests of girl his son has fallen so head over heels for.
