Part 1
Tayji asks how long to wear a saree? She calls out to Naina and Preeti. The duo step out in sarees. Everyone is amazed at seeing them in saree. Tayji says Naina looks like a bride. Bela says the moon is shining at our house. Chachaji says we never realise how quickly girls grow up. Tayji says feel like groom is coming to see them. Rakesh asks them to sit. Tayji recalls her youth and Tayaji teases her. Tayji asks Preeti to get camera and take everyones pics. Naina keeps sulking. Tayji says no milk? She sends Naina. Tayji calls Preeti inside the kitchen and asks Naina to take a pic of Tayji-Preeti. She then asks Preeti to take a pic of her and Naina. Preeti makes excuses to avoid but Tayji insists.
Female narrator-- Road signs say if you take your eyes off, accident happens. But in life, accident can happen anytime. There are no road signs. Those days while i and Sameer were lost in our grief, I could not see Tayjis plan for me. By the time i realised, it was too late.
Tayji makes Preeti take a solo pic of Naina. Naina hesitates but Tayji makes Naina smile. Naina recollects Sameer taking her pics at Mt. Abu. She smiles. Bela tells Chachaji that am sure Tayji must be hatching some plans. Chachaji asks her to relax and not think negative. The puja begins.
Sameer switches on the tape. BG- Baharo ne mera chaman loot kar. Sameers bhabhi and aunt discuss about the song. His bhabhi says Sameer is so upset these days. He doesnt even talk much. She says he seems to move from Aashiqui to Sanam Bewafa. Sameers aunt scolds her and says time to remove the video from your room. She asks her to make tea. Sameers bhabhi says these days Sameer doesnt even drink tea. Sameers aunt decides to talk to her hubby to speak with Sameer.
Tayji asks Naina to remember Poojas wedding and how she was busy distributing sweets with Bholuraam (Sameer). She says if Pooja was here, she did be so happy.
Female Narrator-- Emotions are difficult. In happiness, its not enough and in sadness, it is never ending. Those days in love i used to cry while smiling and smile while crying. Sameer was going dewana and i, bawli.
Naina is called out. BG- Rote rote hasna seekho.
Mamaji comes in Sameers room. Its dark. He says Sameer must be outside. Suddenly tape plays an old song. Mamaji finds him on the floor sulking. Mamaji tries to ask him the matter but Sameer stays mum. Mamaji feels that Sameer wants to stay alone. He assures to get Sameer anything he wants. He leaves. Sameer keeps hearing sad songs. BG- Ye mera dewanapan hai.
Next day, Sameer was in a daze.
Male Narrator-- Those days lover were of three types-- Hath katne wale dewane, ghum me dubne wale sharabi and dari badhane wale devdas. I cant cut my hands or drink. So i opted for the third option. To hear old songs and become devdas. I kept thinking Naina as bewafa, sangdil and increased by beard. Sameer locks himself in the room.
Naina writes Sameers name with haldi. She quickly wipes it before Chachi can see. She almost burns her hand cooking. Later Naina is walking on the road with Parlay. He releases a string of balloons and Sameer can see them too.
Part 2
Sameers mama sneaks into his room with the whole family and Munna-Pandit. All discuss that its July already and Sameer has not changed at all. They talk about how vacations are over. All of them start laughing and talking loudly. They ask Sameer to enjoy palak pakodas, Benton shirts, Mamaji asks him to go out for a drive. Sameer is listless and depressed completely. Munna-Pandit ask him to join in but Sameer stays quiet.
Part 3
Tayji asks relatives to look for a decent family for Naina. Sameers family tells him to get over his heartbreak over the girl who left town. They say its like a small injury. One feels life is over but easily get over. His family tell him to get over it. They offer to talk to the girls family if Sameer wants. But Sameer stays mum. They talk of the song 'Ye duniya, ye mehfil'. Finally Sameers mami asks what Sameer wants? He says leave me alone.
Male Narrator-- Looking back at those days feel like shaking that devdas Sameer up. If you keep crying, your Naina will belong to some other bholuraam. So think something. Do something.
Precap --- A boy comes to meet Naina. Preeti watches shocked. BG- Sun sun didi tere liye ek rishta aaya hai. He praises himself as being very hardworking and having a great future. He tells Naina that his friends say he is very handsome. Naina stares at him.
