I am here sweetheart...finally! 🤗 Wanted to comment last night, but IF was acting up...!

I liked the beginning... the boy asking for balloons, the glares and surprised stares from the other people at chemist's... Sameer's act of feigned ignorance as if he really was so engrossed in reading the instructions on that band-aid box.. .very well done...! 👏👏

The dhaba romance was so Sameer style... he was not bothered at all that who's watching and who's not... but paneer makhani on a hot day - just the thought makes me queasy... 😛

Seems like someone is very frustrated with the recent long bus rides... 😆😆
Again, a relatable fact of rural areas... the bus rides are just so tiresome... and they got left off in between... hahaha... I would be angry like Naina too...

One thing that got my attention was the way Sameer was trying to be patient in-front of her... and another was that he removed his shirt and Naina didn't react at all... Do I consider that she has seen him shirtless before? Or that she was so occupied in his condom and life comparison that she didn't notice?

Gusse me zyada bolti hai Naina... pata chal gaya iss OS se... 😆😆 Sameer has full time entertainment with him...😛

To be honest, Naina's knowledge about sexual intercourse here is still a mystery... Definitely she didn't know about condoms... but her dialogues made me feel as if she is aware of the relationship a man and woman can share... am I right?
She didn't even question him when he said about safety... like safety in what? so, that's why I had this thought.

At the end two words caught my attention...
1) firewhiskey: It reminded me of Harry Potter... an alcoholic drink supposed to burn your throat and give you courage... the firewhiskey kiss it did give Naina the courage to voice her choice of flavour... 😳
2) Faerie Queene - May I ask what virtue Sameer was longing to explore?? 😉

Okay sweetheart... you know me... I will be honest... this was good, but not your best... yet commendable the way you brought about several lingos and the patience in an already irritated boyfriend...

Waiting to read more from you... 😃

Love,
Mou

Minu darling!
I read this one a few days back...Hats off to you for selecting such a topic and handling it so well...never for an instance it felt awkward to read about, even in the context of Samaina...I could relate to the way the characters have been portrayed here...Sameer's know-it-all attitude...of course he should know all these things n is inquisitive enough to know about the pros n cons...he actually studied on that part (show wala Sameer sirf gaane sunata raha heroine ko! 😆)
The way they had this intimate conversation...well it could hardly have been done better here! Haha wo shop wala ladka...sab use ghur rahe hain n he's checking out varieties...well sahi baat to hai...n Naina is thinking about what balloons he wants in a chemist's shop (face palm haha!)
Vaise my mind wandered to quite a different angle when they ventured into the crop fields...kheton mein kya karne jaa rahe the 🤣 mujhe laga Sameer practical demo na de de!
All in all...the dialogues were on point...the concept was awesome!
I enjoyed the read!

Thank you for bringing up such tabooed topics Minnu, i don't think anyone can do justice to the topics you chose more than you. Once again hatts off man. Keep coming up with more. This is informative for kids who don't know how to ask about all this forbidden topics.

Wish there comes a day where people are able to freely discuss about the topics of safety n precaution without feeling like they are commiting murder. Knowing and being cautious about the consequences of the action one is taking, is better than being reckless n taking a freefall into a pit with no exit.

A very entertaining and informative read!

Naina being the curious cat she is, demanded answers to all her queries and Sameer in that situation was perfect, due to her half baked knowledge led Naina to be a little judgemental about the topic but he cleared it all out.

I never knew it was called a balloon. And that xerox copy had me laughing but you stated the truth.

Sameer should have shown practical demonstrations and Naina was keen too, hahhah!

The atmosphere at the chemist shop had me wondering when will our country finally be modern in thinking, there are still many people left who should be enlightened.

Hopefully, Sam prefers Vanilla too! 😉
