A symbolism post after long long time..And I am happy to make one.The old vibes are back with symbolism and I can't get happier than this.

Naina ,alone and this time Preeti even was not there ,crossed the closed gates.Crossed the threshold just to have a new beginning ,begin the new chapter and to reach out for her Sameer. She looked back, was tensed but the most beautiful thing was she asking permission from Rakesh.Rakesh relented and gave her permission to go on her own.Though reasons are different but quite symbolic.

The permission is not easy, they have too many hurdles to cross but both started with crossing the threshold first. Within a structure itself a door /gate serve as both an entrance and exit to other rooms, a passageway between rooms, and an exit from the structure. On a metaphorical level, a door can become an entrance to nearly anything, but it is most commonly used to symbolize the entrance to another world. And both found their other' world. The world of liberty.Yes!Not freedom because inhibitions and limitations are yet to be shed ad addressed to.It was their first liberation and freedom will soon follow.

A doorway is used in lore and literature to symbolize a transition and we could know Naina's transition with the beautiful and apt song..''Kitabein kahin pee.. The VOs completely did justice to show how they were transiting into new moulds.Naina would have a beauty transition ,all thanks to unfortunate accident.

Doors and Gates are associated with privacy, control, and protection and much more. They had their privacy with just two of them enjoying the transition, the beginning of a beautiful chapter together. The way both tried to protect each other and with this their love takes over all the control of their minds..

Nice post Minu 👏

One day Safari Suit will himself say "Ja Simran Ji le apni Zindagi" It symbolizes that. 😆

Thank you dear. The scene definitely looked odd with closed gates and I could see through the symbolism.😳

Wonderful post Minu.
In fact I was waiting for such a post from you after seeing that scene. For me also it felt same. She is opening and entering into a world in which she can think openly and do whatever she want. It reminds me of one scene with Phulla bua when she was enquiring about what these girls dreams are. Naina replied as nothing. But phulla bua felt like she actually wanted to fly in the open sky with fully opened wings but right now she is hiding it from everyone. Yesterday when Naina opened her arms enjoying the wind it reminded me of these words of Phulla bua. Finally she is opening up and enjoying the freedom and courage that her love is giving her.
