To me Arjun's reaction was as expected. This is how i would expect a teenager in 90s to behave. If every story is shot on Sameer, sabko kya bachega. Different couples face different issues.

For sameer, it would always be naina's comfort, i can't even think sameer giving that type of reaction like arjun.

Very much agree to the comments here...i think they lost a golden chance with Samaina here...I hope we get to c tis scene atleast between them tooo...

On the sec thoughts y do i feel we r going to witness some sex education lesson tooo...Dnt take me wrong...the way Shefjun are...they look the most desperate couple who would try to jump in the act of making it out!!...Those days knowledge was also limited n the repurcussions too...!!I always had this thing coming in my head when i see Shefali grooving on my heart is beating ... the Julie song so vividly picturized on her😆...Arjun has always been a coward n if this track is introduced ...Then we hve to see whether he stands true to his relationship n owes it infront of his family...The way the period topic was touched...i hve an inclination they might venture into more physical territory with these two...!!

It was indeed a brave attempt on the part of writers to venture into this. Was pretty surprised. I dont think this topic would again be brought up with Sameer naina..the best chance got wasted with shefjun..maybe they wanted to show how boys were ill educated Abt it. Naina would never have spoken Abt it..boyfriend bolte huye sheee bolti thi ladki. Haha. I guess this scene btwn shefjun may also indicate a closure on their characters by showing them takin a drastic step ahead. Are somy and hema back? Or are they shooting climax scenes. Not sure though.

It would be of some other level if they had picturized it on samaina. It would have been more impactful and conveying. But they chose Shefjun 😔.

I think Sameer and Naina are not at that stage of relationship where they can comfortably talk about periods with each other, for example, she was hesitant, after 2 years of relationship, to put her hand on his shoulders. On the opposite, there is no such hesitation between Arjun and Shefali.

Maybe in future it can be showcased on Sameer-Naina but if we are talking about right now, I think Arjun--Shefali was apt for this.

Lastly, applause to CVS for raising this taboo topic (which shouldn't be and voice-over of Naina rightly pointed out). I think the reaction by Arjun was fine. Sadly even today, some men don't even know what periods are or they are just ignorant about it..
