<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"Could my day be any more good" I thought to myself in chandler's way and laughed at my own joke. The new series that I started to watch. Thanks to Reema my colleague in office who is my best friend after Preethi and Swathi.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"Why are you laughing?" Taiji asked me.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"Taiji.. " I said stammering for a reason when chachi ji called her saying that she had made special tea for her and that did the trick. Taiji left for the tea while chachi ji signalled me to leave. I mouthed a thank you to her and left for my work.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">As I was walking out , Shefali's mom called me.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"Arey Naina, our newspaper fell down. Can u get it?" She asked.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"I have told this Shefali many times not to keep the newspaper in balcony wall." She said</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">I thought to have a glance and I regret opening it now.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">Best Business Man of the year, the title in bold with his image below. My world stopped. My vision got blurred. I don't know for how long I stood there, when shefali mom's voice brought me back. I gave the newspaper and left.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">As I was on my way to office, I was thinking of my life in the past 2 years. Though he left, everyone else stayed by my side and supported me. In the beginning, it was all about my job and career. But after 6 months, the topic of my marriage started. Taiji would bring some alliance or the other to get me married.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">Once a really good groom family came to ask my hand in marriage. There was no reason I could decline them. But I'm not able to accept the guy. I was angry at myself for unable to forget him and start my life fresh. My anger turned to tears and broke down. Chachi ji came to see me and was worried seeing me crying.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"Beta, what happened?" She asked worry visible on her face. I hugged her tightly and cried my heart out. When my breath got even, she pulled me and cupped my face.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"We won't force you to do anything that you don't want to you" she said and placed a kiss on my forehead.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"But taiji.. " I said with hiccups and tears streaming down my face.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"I ll manage her" she said with a smiling face. I thanked god for giving me a mother in my chachi ji. From that time on chachi made sure to ask me if I was okay with the alliance. But I didn't agree to anyone. At least for the time being , I wanted to be alone.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">In the mean time, Preethi's alliance topic also came. I knew Preeti and Pandit loved each other and I was worried for them.I was shocked when Preeti informed Chacha and chachi about her love story. I saw a different Preeti that day. She was so mature in handling chacha and chachi and finally convinced them. I was happy that atleast their love story is gonna end on a happy note.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">The next few months, it was all about Preeti and though I got few alliances in between I waved it off. Finally Preeti and Pandit got married.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">Since we don't have enough money to do my marriage immediately. It was decided that for the next one year everyone ll save their money for my marriage. I was glad that for the next one year I can escape. But unfortunately that is gonna end in 2 months. It was decided that post this birthday my alliance search will start again. My thoughts were brought to reality as my bus reached my office.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">I reached my place and was sitting in my thoughts.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"Naina, editor is calling you" Reema said bringing me back to reality.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"Okay, I will go and meet him" I said picking up my files.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"Hey, do u know who is going to buy our magazine company." she asked me.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">Yes, our magazine company is bought by some big businessman and he is gonna come today. It's the current hot gossip in our company right now. If It had been any other day, I would have loved to hear it. But today nothing interests me.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"Not interested Reema" I said walking away.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">Mr.Mehta, my editor who is of my father's age. But unlike my father, he is very understanding and treat me as his own child. He is the only reason I'm still working in this company. Even Chachaji has told me many times to shift my company and that I deserve better. But I know that once I leave this company, Mr.Mehta will lose his job and I know how much he needs this job. I might get job anywhere but he is aged and the probability is very less. He is very talented but due to his age factors it's ignored mostly. He has to work to support his daughter's education.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">I remember the day, when our previous MD called me to inform that he is going to fire him. I pleaded him and told that he is very talented and would help in reviewing things after which the MD agreed finally.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"May I come in sir" I asked knocking the door of Mr.Mehta.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"Come in Naina" he said smiling.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"How many times I have to tell you to not to call me sir" he said disappointed with me.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"But then you deserve the respect sir" I said taking my seat opposite to him.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">He smiled at me. I knew the reason behind the smile.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">Once Mr.Mehta made a small mistake, coz of which MD blasted at him and also told him the reason why he didn't fire him. That night while leaving Mr.Mehta cried and thanked me.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"So, have you completed the article" he asked diverting me from my thoughts.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"No sir, still its pending" I said visibly upset.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"Stop that work immediately" he said and I looked at him in surprise.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"This month edition will have our new MD's cover story and you're gonna do it" he said and I was shocked beyond words.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"Yes, just now I meet our new MD and he has chosen you to complete this work" he said and I looked at him processing his words.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">"And I feel that's a good idea. He has never given interviews before. So, if we have his story as our cover story, our magazine might become hit this time and also I heard he is the heart throb of girls like you" he said laughing and I rolled my eyes at him.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">Just as I was about to reply him, we heard a knock on his room. The peon informed us that our new MD wants to meet all the employees.</font>

<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif" size="2">We left for the meeting. My heart beat rate increased with each step of mine. Suddenly I was feeling so anxious. Just as we knocked the door , I heard the voice and my world stopped.</font>

PreeDit are married here, it's a first fiction where they are married

Chacha Chachi are the best.. They gave consent to PreeDit marriage and also supported to Naina's decision

So maybe the new MD is Mr. Maheshwari, there may not be anyone else (just kidding) 😆
