Chapter 2 :

Naina's pov :

Just as Mr.Mehta opened the door, I saw him. I thought it might be a dream of mine. I closed my eyes and composed myself and opened again to find him standing there looking at me. Shock would be an understand.

Within few minutes, everyone arrived in the room. We had a introduction session and discussed few other things to improve the magazine . My mind as so numb. I didn't listen listen to anything that was told in the interview. I wanted to leave from there. Just as the meeting got ended, I heard him calling my name. It still create jitters inside me. I composed myself and turned back to him.

"Yes sir" I said clouding my emotions well.

"I want you to be my PA since you're gonna do my cover story" he said with a bossy attitude.

"But Sir, We've already appointed Rhea as your PA" Mr.Sumit interrupted.

"Mr.Sumit I think just now I have told my decision. It's me who gets to decide who should be my PA" he said looking towards me intently.

Once again he is deciding himself I thought rolling my eyes at him.

"Miss.Naina, shift your things to this room" he said with a smile teasing his lips.

I barged out of the room like a angry lioness. What does he think of himself. He will take me when he want and throw me out when he doesn't. I started to type out my resignation as I will not be able to work him. With the resignation in hand I reached his room and knocked it.

Sameer's pov :

That day in temple she made me realise that I should keep the promise that I made to her. I had my own ways to keep track of her though I didn't show up in front of her.

Today when she saw me, I knew she didn't expect me to be the new MD. I know what her reaction will be now. Just as I was smiling thinking about her, I heard my door knock. I asked the person to come in knowing it must be her and I was right.

"Oh, Resignation letter? Accepting your defeat so soon?" I asked with a smirk seeing the paper in her hands and that did the trick. Naina madam will never accept her defeat and that too if stated straight on her face.

She immediately hide the papers behind her back and disagreed to me.

I stood up from my place and I noticed her nervousness. I kind of felt happy to know that she is still affected by me. I took slow steps towards her noticing her actions. She slowly took her steps backwards until she hit the wall. I placed both my hands cornering her and bend down to her ear level. I can feel her goosebumps and it created havoc inside me. I pulled her hands and took the paper and tore it. She looked at me angrily.

"So, if you're done with your resignation drama, start packing your things to come to me. Naina, I have my way to get my things back" I said enjoying her angry look.

"In case you have forgot, I'm not the same Naina that you left 2 years back. And yeah, try your best" she said pointing her fingers challenging me.

Ah, she always love to play with my ego. I hooked her finger which was pointing at me with mine and pulled her closely with my other hand on her waist. She was shocked with my reaction and tried to move away but I pulled her even closer.

"I like to tame you when you're wild" I said before leaving her.

She looked at me angrily one last time before leaving the room.

"I know Naina, I made you wait too long. And I can't wait any more" I said looking at the door through which she left a minute ago.

I still remember the day When I told my decision to buy this company Munshiji scolded me.

"That company already runs in loss. Why do you want to buy that?" he asked annoyed and I just smiled in return.

"For the next 3 months, take care of our company. In case of any urgency, call me up" I said to him.

And now here I'm to win her back forever.

Naina's pov:

He can try whatever he want but this time I'm not gonna bend easily. He might have thought that by making me stay here he can win me back easily but I will not let that happen. But what's with new intimacy. In college, we used to hold hands but nothing more than that. But now what is he trying to do. Though I know what his intentions are , I'm was not ready to accept it. I was in my own world when Reema came running in.

"You lucky girl" she said hugging me.

"What?" I said moving away from her hug.

"PA huh?!?" She said winking at me.

"I think he likes you" she said teasing me.

"Nothing of that sort" I said packing my stuffs.

"Come on Naina, he said no to that Rhea and picked you instead" she said stressing on Rhea.

Yeah, Rhea is the most fashionable girl in our company. She has good dressing sense and a perfect body. Every guy has a crush on her and every girl is jealous of her.

"But I'm happy that he chose you" she said genuinely happy for me and I smiled back at her.

"Mam, sir asked you to come immediately" peon said coming to my place.

"Immediately? Not bad.." Reema said teasing again.

"Okay, I'm leaving" I said taking my things and made my way to his room ignoring her teasing.

Just as I entered his room, I saw a table placed just opposite to him for me to place my things and settle. There was a small vase with a flower and a chocolate box near it. I knew who did that but I ignored it.

"Naina, we'll have photoshoot for the cover story this week. Make the arrangements" he said in a professional tone.

"Sure sir" I said without looking at him and was about to leave when he pulled me back. It was so sudden that I landed on his chest. I looked at him through my eyelashes. This sudden intimacy made me hell nervous that I was worried if he could hear my heart beat rate. I hate to admit that I like his touches. Even during college times, many times I wanted to hug him, feel him but couldn't coz of my own restrictions and he also didn't try to do anything respecting my feelings.

"When we're alone, you don't have to call me sir" he whispered in my ear. This brought me back to my senses. I pushed him and moved back to have some safe distance between us.

"Let's maintain a professional level. Hope you remember I'm your PA alone." I said moving out leaving for the day.

As I reached home, chachi ji asked me to call Preeti since she wanted to speak to me. And I know the reason already. But still I called her.

"Naina, how are you?" she asked me.

"I'm good Preeti" I answered

"Don't lie" she said knowing me.

"I was upset in the morning but now I'm better" I lied to her.

I didn't tell her that he is my MD as I don't want to upset her in this condition. She is in her pregnancy period and I don't want her to strain coz of me.

Infact during the wedding , Pandit wanted to call Sameer for his marriage but Preeti was against it as she doesn't want me to get hurt. Pandit told me his dilemma and I asked him to invite him, after all he is his best friend. Somewhere I also wanted to see him but he didn't come.
