Hi guys. I'm back with Chapter 5.. 🤗Here comes the next update. Don't forget to like and comment.

Chapter 5 :

Sameer's pov :

Finally I saw her smiling from her heart but I knew that my truth is out when a kid pointed out his hands in my direction. I know how much Naina loves playing with kids. I bought the gifts for kids and told them to thank her by kissing her. But now I have to face the angry lioness I thought. She stood up and before I know she collapsed on the floor.

"Naina" I said rushing towards her. Immediately I called the doctor who told that she had fainted as she hadn't eaten anything. She told that she had given her a sedative and so she ll be sleeping. I thanked the doctor and she left. I was so furious at her for not taking care of her health. But then I know discussing it with her can make her angry, so thought to ignore it and take care of her for now. Slowly she opened her eyes adjusting to the surroundings and her eyes landed on me.

"How are you feeling now?" I asked caressing her head and she nodded. I asked her if we can leave and she nodded meekly trying to get up but I lifted her . She looked at me stunned but I ignored her look and took her to the car. she noticed me driving towards my home.

"Drop me at my home" she said slowly her voice very tired.

"No, first we'll reach my home. You'll have some food then I ll drop you at your home" I said driving.

She didn't say anything. She just turned outside letting the breeze calm her. As I reached my home I found her sleeping peacefully without any worries. I slowly bend towards her and kissed her forehead and she smiled in her sleep.

"I'm sorry Naina. I know you're confused, scared and angry because of me" I said and a lone tear escaped my eyes.

"But I promise you I ll give you all the happiness if provided me a chance" I said looking at her sleeping form. I carried her out of the car and placed her on my bed. I covered her with the duvet and went out asking Ramdhari to cook some healthy food. He was happy to see Naina after many days but was worried about her health condition and told that he ll do his grandmother's recipe.

I took the soup bowl he gave me and went towards her room. She was still sleeping. I woke her up and feed her the soup he made and made her sleep again. I sat on the couch watching her and also working on my files.

"Don't leave me.. I can't live this time" she said mumbling in her sleep and tears started to make way. And in no time, She was crying in her sleep and I immediately rushed towards her side. I patted her wiping the tears but it was unstoppable.

"I won't leave you and go anywhere. I promise you" I said pulling her into my chest kissing her forehead. She didn't wake up but her tears has stopped slowly. I didn't place her on the bed. I gave her my warmth ensuring that I ll be there for her. After few minutes, She nuzzled into my chest making me uncomfortable. Her lips were on my chest where my button was open. I tried to move her away but she nuzzled more and I stopped to move and tried to control myself. As of now, I was content with her in my arms sleeping peacefully. Don't know when sleep took over me.

Naina's pov :

I opened my eyes and I was confused as to where I was sleeping. My lips brushed against something soft. I slowly raised my head and saw that I was hugging him and sleeping. My face turned red with the fact that it was his chest that my lips brushed into. I tried to move away but his grip got stronger pressing me more into his body. This is not going good I thought and pulled myself forcefully making him jerk out of sleep. He looked at me smiling as If I was in dreams and suddenly realisation dawn upon him.

"I'm sorry. How are you feeling now?" He asked me letting go of me wiping his tired eyes.

"Better" I said looking away.

"Freshen yourself. I will be downstairs" he said leaving the room. I turned towards his bedside table and noticed our photo on the table. The same one where we were laughing happily.

It was the last day of college when we all decided to take photo. The plan was to take couple photos, boys gang, girls gang and then all the 6 of us.

"Madam smile" the photographer told her. I was so nervous that what if I looked bad. I always has this inferior feeling that I'm not good looking. He tried lots of ways to make me understand and I did changed but still somewhere I was still conscious about it.

"I can't do this" I said leaving when he held my hand. I looked at him sadly.

"If you go now, I'm never gonna talk with you" he said angry at her behaviour. I came and sat beside him silently.

"Madam smile" the photographer told again.

"So, now you're not gonna smile?" He asked me.

"I'm trying na" I said trying some artificial smile. He went and whispered something in the photographer's ear and I watched him curiously. When he came back I asked him as to what he said but instead of replying he started to tickle me. I started laughing heavily.

"Sa..meeer..." I shouted in-between my laughs.He was also laughing seeing my laughter.

"Sir, done" the photographer said and I got to know of his plan.

"So you did for the photo?" I asked him.

"Yes, I don't want to see the artificial smiles of yours. This heart felt laugh is what I wanted in our photo" he said to me tickling me again.

I refreshed myself and went down.

"Bhabhi, how are you?" Ramdhari asked and I nodded at him."Come often Bhabhi" he said to me. I wanted to say something like "I didn't come coz your bhaiya, why don't you ask him. But instead I smiled. I don't want to answer him harshly as there is no fault of his. He was always sweet with me whenever I come here.

"Your favourite Masala tea" he said handing over the tea and I was so happy having it.

"You make the best masala tea" I said my usual dialogue to him and he smiled happily receiving my compliment. After the much needed sleep, I felt better. I told him I ll leave but he insisted on dropping me. We reached my colony. I told him to drop there to avoid unnecessary questions.

"Thanks" I said getting down.

"Take leave tomorrow and rest" he said before leaving.

In the night, i tried recalling post my faint but I can't remember it properly. I barely remember how to took care of me. My cheeks turned red remembering how I woke up in his arms nuzzling into his chest.

"Was it not a dream ?" I thought to myself suddenly sitting up on my bed."Oh no, did I cry in my dream again" I thought embarrassed.

Yes, post our breakup I cry in my dreams saying "Don't leave me Sameer. I will die and similar stuffs. Preeti is the only person who knew about it and told me about it. It doesn't happen on regular basis but at times, when I'm sick or not well or missing him. I just hoped that I didn't cry today but I knew I had.

The next day, I reached the office. He was shocked to see me there.

"I told you to take rest" he said angrily.

"But I'm fine" I said sitting on my place.

"You're not fine. Look at you , dark circles under your eyes, face sullen and you have lost weight too" he said looking at me observing me and my skin erupted goosebumps.

"You're not a doctor. I'm fine" I said trying to write the article on the orphanage.

He immediately dialled some number and in 2 mins Reema was In our room. He handed over the article writing to Reema and asked me leave home.

"If you're not leaving to your home, I ll carry you to my home and make you rest" he said and I looked at him shocked.

"You... can't... do that" I said stammering.

"I can and I don't care what the friends of you ll think" he said smirking.

"Ziddi" I murmured packing my stuffs.

"But not as stubborn as you" he said smiling.

But he was right. As soon as I reached I slept. I slept for the entire day. I myself didn't know that I was so tired and needed the rest badly. In the evening, I was so bored, so I decided to meet Preeti as Swati is busy with her marriage preparations.

"Swapna didn't come today. All her work got dumped on me. I'm so tired" Pandit said tired from his office work.

"Why are you doing her work? She can complete it when she comes right?" She asked angrily.

"It has to be done today. She is not well. So I helped her." Pandit said confused by her question.

"Now a days you're talking about her a lot" she said looking at him angrily.

"Now don't make a fuss about these things" Pandit said somewhat angrily and in no time she started crying.

"Why are you crying now?" He asked confused.

"You don't love me like before" she said

"Now where did this come from?" He asked not sure how to handle her mood swings.

"I have become fat. So you started seeing that Swapna, right?" she said in-between her cries.

"And you're scolding me for her" she said looking at him with teary eyes accusing him.

"What? Preeti I love you very much and you know it" he said hugging her trying to console her

"No, you love Swapna" she said moving away from his hug. Pandit prayed to god to send someone to help him and god listened to him.

"Naina" he said as soon as he saw me entering. I rushed towards a crying Preeti. After knowing the reason behind her tears, I laughed loud.

"Laugh, you too laugh. Here my life is destroyed. You're laughing" Preeti said getting angry at me.

"Ok, ok.. Sorry" I said trying to control my laugher and went near her.

"Naina, ask him if he loves Swapna" Preeti said looking at Pandit angrily.

"If you really think I love Swapna. Fine. I'm not gonna prove myself" Pandit said leaving the room angrily. I eyed Preeti angrily.

"Don't you know how much he loves you. Why do you have to ask him like this? Now go and ask him sorry" I said to her angrily. She got up and went near him.

"I'm sorry" she said holding her ear but Pandit turned away.

"I love you" she said pulling him to look at her.

"Baby also loves you" she said keeping a hand on tummy and Pandit looked at her smiling pulling her into a hug.

"But I love you more than baby" she said and he kissed her forehead.

"I know My Pumpkin loves me more" he said kissing her chubby cheeks and she hit him.

Yes, pumpkin is the new name that Pandit had given her coz of her pregnancy.Though she says she didn't like that name, she blushes every time he says that. I smiled looking at them.

The next day he was somewhat satisfied seeing me though I didn't find any difference. We completed the entire work. Everyone proof read and was satisfied with the work done. He read the cover story and left a thank note on my desk.

In few days, our magazine got released. As expected it was a huge success. The credits goes to the best business of the year. Since no-one knew about him, people were curious to read it seems. A success party was arranged to celebrate the same.

Yay!!!! First time first to comment! Read it in seconds after u posted even before u updates the title post. It was high on the emotions quotient but I absolutely love how much & how he cared for her! That fainting must have scared the hell outta him but the business man training took over to not panic & handle the situation. I agree that Naina shouldn't give in easily coz she has to be assured everyday that time time he has returned for good & he is hers only always for the keeps.
