Congratulations Ashu on the 100th page
After innumerable bleary eyed nights am back to review.
I love the way the story is progressing. The gradual understanding of the characters and the way they are lending support to each other is beautifully depicted in your story. The fact that naina pines for sameer to stand up to situations and take a stand for them actually exhibits the protective side in her as a wife. She doesn't want him to be weak, she wants him to do what's right and stay strong as an individual. This is what a life partner does actually, he/She helps you get over your short comings and bring out the best in You, fortifying you as an individual. Love doesn't weaken but strengthens and that's what naina is trying to do over here. May be her decisions are harsh but she is on a path where she is seeking solace and complete assurance from her partner. There is no lack of trust but somewhere seeing the indecision in Sameer, somewhere naina too ebbs away wallowing into her own insecurities. The blame somewhere is on Sameer, though it would be wrong to say that he never tried yet he should have been strong enough to stand up and refuse any collaboration with kamya.
The step that naina had taken has finally bore its first fruit. The way this new sameer who is not ready To endure any nonsense thrown his way in the name of business was endearing to read about. The fact that he was blunt enough count out the mistakes of kamya and that she was yet to gain experience was something I loved reading about. The way he tackled the entire scenario especially when Mr somani yet again was trying to play one of his dirty tricks with him was superb. By hiring munna and pundit to guide him through the project, he has played a masterstroke. What really pains me to see is the nonchalant nature of visakha. After all she was the one who had loved naina and even suggested the alliance. The fact that suddenly in the name of saving her sham of a marriage with the deceitful Mr somani, She has suddenly turned a blind eye to the woes of her own son and daughter in law. She had to be given a taste of her own medicine, if she had been playing along, being the dutiful wife and thrusting kamya towards sameer, then she too would have to bear the brunt of it. Yes, that's what sameer did when he suggested that kamya take part in the functions of the ngo and help his mother out instead. That way he hit two birds with one stone, easily kamya was out of his hair and he could concentrate on his job at hand.
Naina is stalling her meeting with Sameer, she clearly misses him but somewhere she is keeping a secret from him. I hope in the next update we get to.know what that prized secret is. The
