this whole Delhi track is so badly executed visually as well as from story point of view...
Post Nanu's death, the story seems to stretch..
there is no substantial growth in Samaina love story..
Delhi track 1a: Grief ridden separation phase
Delhi track 1b: Sorrow-filled half meet bcoz Naina failed in her exams and Sam was unhappy with whatever was happening with him in Delhi.
Delhi Track 2a: Sameer's loneliness and Naina's separation pangs.
Delhi Track 2b: Sameer went wayward but Naina became responsible.
Delhi Track 3a: Sameer getting back on track with Naina's indirect help hence he gains his mother's love. Naina continues pining for Sameer, lives in her romantic dream world.
Delhi Track 3b: Naina attempts to meet Sameer.
In this whole Delhi track lot of core plots were missed..
like Naina-Sameer's heart to heart talk after Nanu passed away. Thy still don't share their issues, emotions, fears.
Naina lives in her dream world of fancy romance and wants to b near Sameer to romance and love, but Sameer is plagued with real life problems and seeks Naina's presence and support.
So this two r at different junctures in their love story.. and this hit and miss sequence doesn't help at all.
If thy cannot have even heart to heart talk, whats the purpose of Naina visiting Delhi.. it wud jst b repetition of post-Nanu events which wont help story. Coz at this point, Naina Sameer needs to start understanding each other's emotional needs better.
Also thrs no progression of Rohan's character or Rohan-Sam bonding. thts really sad. Thy cud've used Rohan's character better and made this Delhi track interesting as many were eager to learn abt this Rohan's character.
Now I hope from here on thy show some sensible tracks and some real progress in Samaina relationship. Coz even progression of romance has happened in only dreams. A year has passed already and thy still haven't learnt to share their emotions or problems. Now tht is really frustrating in any relationship. No dbt Sam is so frustrated at not being able to share everything with Naina. But he cud have done it with letters, bt he didn't.
that's why even this letter writing phase doesn't generate any interest. Ppl used to share everything in their letters not jst mushy romantic lines and tht's y the audience cudnt connect to this letter writing or song dedication phase. Coz even the letter writing needed to have a gradual progression from writing romantic lines to sharing one's feelings, emotions, and everyday events. This track lacks the emotional depth of love that was USP of Samaina relationship in Mt. Abu track.
Dil lelo for this comment/post...I agree with every word you say...
I must say Delhi Track has been the worst excueted track till date in the show...Wedding track though had ample of editing flaws and irritating Sasur-Saala but Delhi takes the cake here...
Samaina infact are not on the same page in their story...even their VOs are not on the same page...sometimes because of their contrasting VOs I get a feeling they are telling story at different places to different people...they are not together in a room and telling their story...Specially Delhi Track even VOs aren't that convincing...they more of feel like a consolation by the CVs for the audience because of the blunders they do...đ
I'm still trying to find a reason what made CVs show Dadi a witch rather than a grey character...If Agarwals can have Grey characters in their house then why do Delhi people have vamps in their house...if maximum characters are realistic in the show why does one character have to be so out and out negative that people lose the realistic touch from the show...
I'm still trying to figure out that if 9 months in the show and they still haven't touched Rakesh-Naina or Sam-Vish's past, then why create so much of excitement about it over the course of the show...if they haven't planned on the execution of these important parts, why create a stir about it in certain episodes??đ
I'm still trying to figure out why show specifically Arjun as the culprit if they are never going to reveal his reality...they would have any other random guy stealing the paper, Rakesh would have still blamed Sam, Sam could have yet executed the bet...Reason behind showing Arjun as a culprit gives hope to the audience that it will be revealed soon and will create tensions among the characters...it will show true colors of some characters...but CVs never planned on doing anything on it...
This Delhi track has left all the other things hanging...Arjun's paper stealing, Rakesh' past, Vish's past...it is only busy showing Witch and her Henchman...Not even Samaina scenes nowadays compensate for this stupidity...Cause anyway in 3 months they have hardly given us 3-4 Samaina scenes...that of hardly 3-4 mins...đ...even their letters and phone calls seem to be stretched cause they don't talk or share important things happening in their life...what's the point of talking then...
