Rose, I agree. Dadi is pure, unadulterated evil. She can not and should not be redeemed. How heartless can one be for not caring about a teen lost in a relatively unknown city in a tense, unsafe situation? How cruel can one be to be so mean to a near orphaned boy who has been deprived of his mom's love, care, attention due to her selfishness and narrow minded thinking? 🤢

I agree too ladies, no way can Dadi be redeemed
A person who can go to the extent of wishing they get hurt or even die cannot be redeemed

I hope they eliminate Dadi' s character totally

Just a thought - this evil dadi -- would it have worked if they had shown more of Dadi - Vishakha confrontation - brought out V's back story - . Sam silently observing everything that is happening with his mother.. understanding her pressures (similar to how he read Agarwaals) - V's breakdown.. logically if they had taken this route - the Delhi track may have worked..
rather than pitting a 17 yr old against Dadi...

Post Nanu's death, the story seems to stretch..
there is no substantial growth in Samaina love story..
Delhi track 1a: Grief ridden separation phase
Delhi track 1b: Sorrow-filled half meet bcoz Naina failed in her exams and Sam was unhappy with whatever was happening with him in Delhi.

Delhi Track 2a: Sameer's loneliness and Naina's separation pangs.
Delhi Track 2b: Sameer went wayward but Naina became responsible.

Delhi Track 3a: Sameer getting back on track with Naina's indirect help hence he gains his mother's love. Naina continues pining for Sameer, lives in her romantic dream world.
Delhi Track 3b: Naina attempts to meet Sameer.

In this whole Delhi track lot of core plots were missed..
like Naina-Sameer's heart to heart talk after Nanu passed away. Thy still don't share their issues, emotions, fears.

Naina lives in her dream world of fancy romance and wants to b near Sameer to romance and love, but Sameer is plagued with real life problems and seeks Naina's presence and support.

So this two r at different junctures in their love story.. and this hit and miss sequence doesn't help at all.

If thy cannot have even heart to heart talk, whats the purpose of Naina visiting Delhi.. it wud jst b repetition of post-Nanu events which wont help story. Coz at this point, Naina Sameer needs to start understanding each other's emotional needs better.

Also thrs no progression of Rohan's character or Rohan-Sam bonding. thts really sad. Thy cud've used Rohan's character better and made this Delhi track interesting as many were eager to learn abt this Rohan's character.

Now I hope from here on thy show some sensible tracks and some real progress in Samaina relationship. Coz even progression of romance has happened in only dreams. A year has passed already and thy still haven't learnt to share their emotions or problems. Now tht is really frustrating in any relationship. No dbt Sam is so frustrated at not being able to share everything with Naina. But he cud have done it with letters, bt he didn't.

that's why even this letter writing phase doesn't generate any interest. Ppl used to share everything in their letters not jst mushy romantic lines and tht's y the audience cudnt connect to this letter writing or song dedication phase. Coz even the letter writing needed to have a gradual progression from writing romantic lines to sharing one's feelings, emotions, and everyday events. This track lacks the emotional depth of love that was USP of Samaina relationship in Mt. Abu track.

Very well written 👏

Everything that has transpired since Sameer reached Delhi, Dadi's behavior, Vishu's majbooris etc should have been noticed by a very observant Sameer if we go by the unn dinon ki standards of Yeh unn dinon ki baat hai. It has not been shown explicitly and maybe they are not even planning on showing it if it has not come up thus far. Maybe he will reflect on it at a later date when he is calmer, he has had to process in these last few months and not thinking much about anyone else besides himself. I do believe I am being overly optimistic though😆

We were all hoping for Vishu's back story na? We saw some of it. We are aware of dadi's condition of not bringing Sam to their house and dadi's thinking. We would have liked to know how V came to marry Bobby darling? Was there any majboori for this shaadi? Was this condition explained to her before marriage? Was Nanu aware of this condition? What happened to Sam's biological dad? Logical explanations of these would have surely helped all of us connect better to the Delhi track, Somanis and that is what we had hoped to see but we were disappointed. Dadi's dislike for Sameer and him staying with them could definitely have been shown differently and that would have IMHO been accepted better by the viewers.
Dunno if I have been able to express my thoughts clearly😳

Kavi, most desi shows do not end up showing back stories esp of characters other than the leads so dont hold your breath for this one!

Dil lelo for this comment/post...I agree with every word you say...

I must say Delhi Track has been the worst excueted track till date in the show...Wedding track though had ample of editing flaws and irritating Sasur-Saala but Delhi takes the cake here...

Samaina infact are not on the same page in their story...even their VOs are not on the same page...sometimes because of their contrasting VOs I get a feeling they are telling story at different places to different people...they are not together in a room and telling their story...Specially Delhi Track even VOs aren't that convincing...they more of feel like a consolation by the CVs for the audience because of the blunders they do...😕

I'm still trying to find a reason what made CVs show Dadi a witch rather than a grey character...If Agarwals can have Grey characters in their house then why do Delhi people have vamps in their house...if maximum characters are realistic in the show why does one character have to be so out and out negative that people lose the realistic touch from the show...

I'm still trying to figure out that if 9 months in the show and they still haven't touched Rakesh-Naina or Sam-Vish's past, then why create so much of excitement about it over the course of the show...if they haven't planned on the execution of these important parts, why create a stir about it in certain episodes??😕

I'm still trying to figure out why show specifically Arjun as the culprit if they are never going to reveal his reality...they would have any other random guy stealing the paper, Rakesh would have still blamed Sam, Sam could have yet executed the bet...Reason behind showing Arjun as a culprit gives hope to the audience that it will be revealed soon and will create tensions among the characters...it will show true colors of some characters...but CVs never planned on doing anything on it...

This Delhi track has left all the other things hanging...Arjun's paper stealing, Rakesh' past, Vish's past...it is only busy showing Witch and her Henchman...Not even Samaina scenes nowadays compensate for this stupidity...Cause anyway in 3 months they have hardly given us 3-4 Samaina scenes...that of hardly 3-4 mins...😕...even their letters and phone calls seem to be stretched cause they don't talk or share important things happening in their life...what's the point of talking then...

CVs ki akal sach much ghas charne gayi hai. What stupid hit n miss scenes. So Sam was carying placard. But he has to look in front while walking. Otherwise he would have bumped into someone or fallen down. So when we look in front an dwalk, we all can see who is coming from the other direction. And today CVs made Sam blind ..literally...Kekta mata ko bhi hara diya CVs ne with this silly hit and miss. Kachru ke gaon se bhi kachra tha aaj.

As Zulu said, only good thing was Ashi was looking nice. Very 90s type. 😊

Kedi...stooping so low...a person in the house is critically ill and she is still plotting...don't want to comment...😡

Only scene I liked was Sam- Vishakha - Rohan. The signs are ominous. I simply don't understand what the CVs want to do. If they had to show exactly same as Sumeet Mittal's life, then why show Vishakha at all? They could have shown Vishakha had died when Sam was two and he was raised by Nanu.
We have all waited patiently for Rohan to talk. Now i feel the CVs purposely kept him in silent mode because he has the most crucial role to play in Sam's life next to Naina.
Even today, in front of Rohan, Vishakha said jo kaam mera Sam kar sakta hai woh aur koi nahin kar sakta. It was Sam who was feeding Vishakha. Rohan again let the duo bond. He was happy to see Sam and Vishakha bonding. When Nanu died, he asked Vishakha to look after Sam. If they do show Vishakha dying, I have a feeling they will show Rohan promising Vishakha that he will always be by Sam's side. Rohan has seen how Vishakha sacrificed Sam to be with the Somanis. So it will not be surprising if Rohan now does the same for Sam. I was glad to see today Somani stopped Daadi from talking nonsense.

Rohan apna side to lele.. what will he do by being aside Sameer...😛

Nandy, I am sure you and me and lot of others here watch the serial in totality and not just for Samaina scenes.

Not knowing the past of important characters in the story and not explaining it to the viewers is so unfair.
If Sameer is this way today, then his past has influenced in shaping his character. And the past includes who is father is, why did Vishaka choose to abandon a little boy to build a new life and how all these affected the child.
What is the point of watching this serial if none of these valid questions are even answered.

And I agree that Delhi track got screwed royally. It had so much potential and instead of exploring all the characters and their interpersonal relationships, they brought an evil Dadi who was not in sync with the mood and the tone of the story in anyway.

I agree with most part of these comments. But the paper stealing. I think if it was not arjun than Naina would have not ever come to know about the truth. Even if she would have, she would not be as guilt ridden as she was in this case. Not everything in life is always revealed. There are few dark secrets in most people's life that is better remain secret.

Yeah you are right not all secrets need to be revealed...but what about Arjun...atleast this truth if revealed he will be a bit less in showing attitude and would be aware before committing such mistakes next time...Even this truth revelation will keep Rakesh's behaviour in control...jis bete pe unhe itna ghamand hai woh bhram toh tootna zaroori hai right? ...I'm not saying Naina to reveal it...but through some other situation it should come out...Sam is still bearing the brunt of it after 1.5 years of the incident...Dadi still taunts him on this...Rakesh is still bitter about him...they need a reality check ...Dadi and Somani need not know who stole it...but atleast Sam is not they should be clear about it...Also Rakesh should be grounded...and revelation of this incident would have been a turning point for him...
