There were regional All India Radio stations too ... They transmitted news and one or two programs in local languages...

So basically sameers telecast will be heard in ahemdabad

Also...the makers just chose to show radio station coz u need to buy rights to use logos and names in shows...I guess the makers did not buy the right for all India radio...

An article did mention they bought rights for doordarshan and programs like chitrahaar and Mahabharat

Blooper hi hai!!!

Bt I guess shayad rights nahi mile honge...bcz ye to direct blooper tha...they knew audiences will immediately guess...ya fir Sirf ek shot k liye Naam use karne k rights liye nahi honge!!!!

In first episode it was said there was only one radio station.

It could be a blooper only... Us time there was only AIR... Ahmedabad main bhi log wohi sun rahe the... So its AIR only which used to transmit across the country.

One thing is sure uss waqt ek hi tha Radio that is AIR...that to transmitting all across India ..so Sam's show Naina listening is fine

But they didn't show it exactly as AIR or Vividh Bharati due to copyright issues I guess...kyun ki AIR ka logo aur name use karne ke liye permission chahiye ...plus it is a govt org..,not necessary permission mile

Plus inhone kal sameer ko hero dikhane ke chakkar mein radio station ki dhajiya udai hai...AIR dikhake aise dhajiya nahi uda paate...😆...
So kuchh bhi random Radio dikha diya shayad
