TFS for this...I was thinking of writing one...but it is not in Hindi...what's the point...Nobody knows how to read Hindi in their team😕...The show is in Hindi...they use good phrases and use clean language as compared to many other shows...but the team has kept the contest in English?...Hindi has an essence in reference with the show...It's not that English letters aren't good but it is a Hindi show...Samaina letters are in Hindi...I'm pretty sure Randeep can read Hindi...it is evident from the zubaan he speaks...😕

Ne waah...Aaj kal ke zamane ke logo ko zara angrezi kya aa jaati hai ...apne aap ko Angrez samajhne lagte hai...😆😆...oho yeh beech mein taiji aa jaati hai mere andar...

Exactly...

but may b bcoz thy wanted to connect the show with today's youth..

coz almost after this era.. the heavy hindi language usage in every day life/films/dialouges almost vanished.. not just Hindi all local languages and English had heavy influence on our world while growing up.. I remember all those spoken English classes and personality development classes popping up in every nook and corner of a city.. 😆

Hence I guess..

but I think thy will modify and translate it in classical Hindi for the audience of the show.. I guess..

as u mentioned Hindi is an integral part of this 90s show.. 😳

Thn those Hindi medium schools still ran comfortably in Gujarat, abhi to even Gujarati medium schools r in khatra..

Hence sometimes I think this extremism for Marathi in Maharashtra is good.. Sorry went off topic. 😆

I m from English medium school but I can understand how my hubby or his family miss that desi Gujarati flavour in their day to day conversation.. in name of sophistication, we leaned too much towards Angrezi..and Angrezipana.. 😆

😆 in which language r we communicating right now.. Angrezi.. 😆

I completely second your thoughts...English was so emphasized after 1995 that I remember I was once at my friend's place and we were communicating in Hindi and her Dad interrupted us saying you should communicate in English cause that is the language of the coming age/generation...

People have stopped working on other languages I feel...I'm also from English medium but my mother tongue is Gujarati...and I'm born and brought up in Pune so I know Marathi as well...People are so bad in their mother tongue itself...Hindi is so badly spoken these days...Grammatical errors, gender errors, people find it difficult to even say a complete sentence in Hindi...and this is not only in real life...In Hindi movies and shows they speak Hindi so incorrectly...No usage good vocabulary...just simple convenient day to day words...Infact I read it somewhere sometime back...Languages are dying a slow death because of English..

And you are right...Marathi extremism in some ways is correct to preserve their language...but now even their kids are studying in English medium and are weak in Marathi......Infact their are hardly any Hindi schools in Pune anymore...Even Marathi medium schools are decreasing...

Infact I like many European countries...they are pretty adamant about their languages...They don't easily communicate in English...English is not a priority language for them..they learn just for the sake of it..but they are still rooted to their native languages...

At the end it's upon us as an individual what we can do to preserve our languages...And speak fluently and correctly...

Yes Zulu stress on local language in Maharashtra is more as part of syllabus bus. But today's children also don't like to learn local language as subject all because of English generation. I also being convent student didn't took much interest in studying Local language.
But in many foreign countries they stress on local language only.
Slowly our local languages are diminished all because of English culture.
But I think in Maharashtra still Marathi language/literature has well base.
