You somehow capture the true essence of the episodes in your post, and I love reading it...!

The flashback was so adorable, although I did wonder why does Sameer has short hair 😕

Technicalities aside, the gestures displayed were so sweet... him bringing the entire bunch of balloons for her... that twirl when Naina mischievously ties their shoelaces together... and that soapy bubbles... beautifully executed and lovely to watch... 😳

These flashbacks are his strength... and now he is being pulled between his promise to Naina and the temptation of company... Poor soul, he is craving the bond and friendship so much that he is struggling to find acceptance for himself. Those Delhi boys, are bad company, but they are admiring him and accepting him - so he is getting pulled towards them.

I remember chachaji once said about Naina - "Bin maa ki bachchi hai... jahan pyaar dikhta hai usi taraf behti chali jaati hai." I would say the same statement applies for Sameer, he craves for attention and acceptance, which he is not getting in enough quantity at his home in Delhi, but those boys are giving it, so he is thinking what's the harm in spending some time.

Does that mean he will forget MunDit and Naina? NO... He might wander from the correct path for a bit, but he will be back on track because no matter what, his heart is always with Naina... Sooner or later he will realize what he is doing...

And you brought out a beautiful point Laizu... Naina had a bad dream again... so this time what does she do...? I think she will do everything in her capacity to speak to him... Even though her love letter is intercepted by Shanti Madam, it doesn't mean that she will stop writing... Sameer just needs a little bit focus to get back on track and I am hoping Naina will make him realize that his focus is his promise to Nanu... 😳

As I noted in Nivi's post, I wish the VO could have been better worded - something like Naina, Munna, Pandit meri taakat the, their presence in my life gave me the emotional strength, they are my life's anchors.. rather than describing their bond just as an aadat or habit 😕 - or am i reading all wrong about the VO -- when your life's anchors are away from you, one tends to lose that balance and become disoriented.. I wish writers could have taken this approach, but then maybe they want to explore a 17yr old's state of mind..

Sameer has suddenly been thrown into boredom and 'motivation' of a bad gang.

Motivation is what gets people started..So somewhere lack of proper guidance and motivation to be better than before is pushing him towards the 'get going' that's habits.

So the dream of Naina voices out her anxiety about Sameer getting lost to 'habits' than cultivating them.

The episode was okay for me.Few takeaways only.
