Anyway based on the precap and pics that we have seen it's not certain what is gng to happen.
I m hopeful things would unfold completely opposite to our worries. think playing cards he would do that for fun. Fighting with other gang due to circumstances. I am sure he will not be supportive leave alone getting involved in Eve teasing, I have not seen any video or pic suggesting he was drinking. For smoking also just one pic, which might be like just one time which reminds him of kark rog and he throws the cigarette. myonly concern is the dried rose plant which means he forgot the promise made to Naina. 😭

I will be the happiest if I am proven wrong! But I won't be able to handle Sameer's downfall. I will lose my hero. I truly hope things will be different than expected.

I knew a boy like Sameer. His mom and Dad got separate and his Dad got the custody. Later he got married and send that boy to hostel. The first day I met that boy everyone including teachers, students told me stay away from that boy ...he is a bad boy and can do anything he likes.
He used to tease girls, put legs on chairs of other students while teachers were in the class. Forget about students, teachers were afraid of him. Even the principle was quiet about him. One day he misbehaved with a girl( she was 11/12). The girl was crying and teachers were doing nothing because all were afraid of him. When I asked those girls what happened they said nothing. One girl was strong and brave enough to raise her voice and tell, "what will you do. He just keeps doing this and no one has the guts to scold him. No teachers , nor principal."
I was a very strong girl. Believe it or not I beat him with a rod made of steel( I was senior student I was 14/15 and he was 12/13 but he was reading in third grade). Surprisingly he didn't protest . Later I made friend with him.. I asked him , "why do you do this?"
He told me that no one cares about him and in hostel he used to be abused and when he tried to study no one helped him. I said I will help him as much as I can in his study. Because rest was not in my hand.
Later he started to improve in studies. One day he was standing in the balcony alone and staring at a house faraway from our school. When I went close to him...I saw tears in his eyes. I asked him "What happened?" He pointed his finger to a house and told me, "You see that house. That's our house. No one comes to visit me from there for years."
End of that year his parents I guess his mom came to meet him. She finally got his custody. I can still remember that day...he ran to me and said " I am going home." He was so happy . I asked him, "When will you come back?"
He smiled at me and said "Never."
That was the last time I saw that bad boy who used to be called as a "Threat of the school"
We never met after that day.
Later I heard from one of the stuff in that hostel that he used to be a very innocent kid when he first came to the hostel to live at the age of 8/9.

I don't think sameer was leering at girls in the picture. Yes he was smoking, playing cards, and fighting but if you look closely you will see that he is frowning in the pic where the boys are teasing girls. I'm pretty sure he will stop the boys from eve teasing, even though he will do the other bad habits.

Devyani, its a good question... but I beg to differ. Why do you think this is a change? I would say that Sameer's original change to a mature adult had not fully happened yet... atleast not enough to face tough situations on his own. And I'm taking my cue straight from what Nanu told Vishaka in the hospital... I choose to believe that character more than anyone else...

Nanu left Vishak Sameer's responsibility and she needs to fulfill it. 🤔 In fact Nanu specifically told her Sameer was only now maturing and becoming responsible, he was still very weak from inside. She needs to nurture him till he grows stronger, and so far Vishaka has not done it. She has been grossly negligent of this. 😡 In fact in some ways her actions have made it worse for Sameer, by making his sense of loneliness more acute. When he was in hostel, he felt lonel and only imagined how Rohan got his share of love, but now he is witnessing first hand how both Rohan and Deepika are getting so much care and affection but he is still left out... Yes, he got a glimpse of it the night he came back from Ahmedabad, but is that really enough?

I've been writing this many times... Sameer and Naina were drifting, somehow now Naina found her anchor and she is growing strong with that support but Sameer is still drifting... he is gradually getting more destructive. His escape to Ahmedabad would've opened Vishaka's eyes if he had stayed there, but (un)fortunately he fought with Naina and came back... so things once again appeared normal, but was it? We saw how Vishaka has gone back to her indifferent self, and Sameer has been left alone once again to bide his time...

But I also have a feeling that Naina will be the first to realize something was horribly wrong with Sameer (don't ask me how) and she will share it with Mundit. Remember her words yesterday, if two friends can fight for one friend they can also come together for that same friend... that will happen soon. In all seriousness, I think it should be Vishaka who needs to invest time and energy in helping Sameer, though I feel in some way Naina will help from far...

Sameer is displaying all the same signs he did when he came to Nanu's from hostel... only this time its a notch higher because this time he has seen what love and care is and has lost it again... this time his sense of loneliness and loss is multiplied a lot more. A year ago Nanu understood it was Sameer's cry for help... who will do it now? I feel something else is going to happen in the next few days that will push him off the edge... but he won't display anger because he promised Naina... I also feel that Santhi teacher's well meaning talk to Naina is going to end up hurting these two, especially Sameer, in some manner.

Nanu knew how much Sameer was lonely and lacked in confidence, having always been put down by everyone. He knew Sameer made it u by acting tough in front of everyone. The whole Agarwal thing was in fact the first time Sameer had succeeded in a mission, without running away or screwing up. It was the first time Sameer was using his capabilities and figuring out solutions to problems. Even Nanu said that, and he was proud of that. It was the first time everyone around them were starting to look at Sameer differently. Though Sameer didn't win any awards (although he could have won the man of the match) he won hearts and more importantly respect and credibility. But Sameer himself was slowly becming confident that he could also handle tough situations.

But Nanu went too soon... and we saw what happened. Sameer was first in shock and denial, lost to the world. Then, before he could recover fully, he has been constantly subjected to taunts and jibes and made to feel inferior because till date he has not won any significant awards or anything... his upbringing constantly questioned, hence the one person who was everything to him (Nanu) was constantly being demeaned... no one to console him, no one to even talk to... how can such a person, let alone a teen, living in this toxic environment survive?

Very touching jhalak... I hope that boy had a good life after that. 😊

Sensible post 👏. U decoded sameer with so much clarity. He is still a broken child inside tho he shows a strong not affected face outside. Like nurturing a rose plant with so much care he shd be healed with lots of love and care

Agree that he has all reasons to get close to anyone who shows care for him and be it those bad guys. He would do all that stuff for fun and passing time. But how can he ignore the plant. Shouldn't Naina be his first and only priority??

Very well analyzed..

When the precap came in, my first thoughts were why are writers showing the regression in Sameer ..for someone who displayed so much of maturity in his stay at Agarwal's and later on being strength for Naina - his words that no one should point fingers at them/their love, at a later date even with Mundit he was particular that it is not aisa waisa film so his loneliness/boredom can just be the cause for his going off the edge (if that is what is going to aired in the epis -- most of the times precaps are misleading 😕😕 to keep the audience on tenterhooks).

I am hoping that writers show a convincing reason for S becoming their friend 😕
Is it their praise of him (that stunt) , Sameer likes it when others praise him, the appreciation that is lacking in his life, getting it from other sources - is the reason?? but then what happens to the promise that he made to Vishakha that he may not become another Rohan, but try is best to be good..and also the promise to Naina..

edit - btw - Randeep's new insta post - https://www.instagram.com/p/BhS2rwUhJNK/?taken-by=randeepraii

is interesting.. is it a hint of Sameer??

I know this is shocking but I'm sure they want to show something else from this picture of Sammy.

I have faith on my show they will do justice to it. And sure from this Sammy will take a lesson too. Something bad is happen in life only to teach a lesson from it.
