Hi, Sam (Sur),
I just completed all the parts till now, to the sequel of your extremely popular and amazingly written Mt.Abu series.
I absolutely love the Mt. Abu series and the subtle way it depicted the romance, anger, anguish and the realization of love. And this sequel takes it from the love in school phase to the next stage in the journey of Sameer & Naina.
Stupendofantabulously written and expressed. I just loved this Darjeeling episode. And there is a definite reason behind it other than being masterfully written by you.
Hey Doc! Welcome back! I read & re-read your comment the day it was posted...but then my tight schedules don't allow me to be on time these days! 😕 My apologies for that!
I'm glad you could catch up on the remaining parts of Love in Mt. Abu and the sequel too! Thank you so much Doc! I feel so happy that you still have the same love for the story as you had before! 😳 Makes me feel the efforts are worthwhile! 😊
I guess you have already guessed the reason.
Yes! You are right! (If you were able to guess it)😃
Haha...I actually kind of guessed the reason! 😆Right after the eventful night of "NIGHT AFTER REUNION", we booked a long 2 weeks holiday covering the entire North East. (Darjeeling, Shillong, Cherapunji & Sikkim) I had an upcoming Conference with my lecture in it. Hence, other than attending the lecture, we made it into a vacation. And some of the incidences you explained in your story, I experienced similar instances and could draw the analogy. This part just took me on that trip again.
Hence, right after a week of the events of the Night of the Renuion, my realization & confession followed by the intense acts of love, we were on the trip. As I explained in that part, the mind was unshackled and completely consumed by love, lust & desire. And the Darjeeling trip was gonna add some more spice to the mix.
Ahan! I'm sure! 😃 North East is a really beautiful place...I really love it! 😳
Here are some of the connecting points with this part of your story:
1) Being Calm:
(Reading your story: Sameer was nervous about getting on to the stage. But seeing Naina, made him calm & relaxed. Once he was on the stage he just owned it. True Love always has that calming effect because he knows even if he does not do well, she will be waiting to shower him with love to do better the next time. That assurance of love can make anyone excel)
Connection:
It was the chilly Shillong Morning. We were at the Auditorium as my PPT was the next with video surgery demonstration. I was jittery because I hardly revised, prepared or slept the previous night. It was so unlike me. But what can I do? I and my partner in crime were so consumed with desire that nothing else was important than acting on the intimate desires.
And now I was jittery on stage. But from the stage, when I gazed at the beauty sitting among the delegates in the auditorium, she smiled and signaled love with fingers. That was all the tonic I required. I started and went on with the lecture. In fact, I showed some extra swag to show off to her.
Throughout the lecture, we had eye contacts (oblivious to anyone else) hungrily eying each other, and we both wanted the same thing. Finish this lecture and back to the suite to enjoy fulfilling the carnal fantasies.
But as pointed in your story, the slight loving assurance can make you do better than you think you can.
Wow Doc! The incidents in my story correlated so closely to yours! And that you were in Sameer's situation with your Naina supporting you from the audience- oblivious to all. Like Sameer n Naina shared their lone moments through their eyes, you did so too with your wife! The only difference being poor Sameer and Naina aren't married here...infact haven't taken the first step to intimacy as yet! 😆
As I've said before, I really enjoy reading your comments and your story! You should definitely write more! 😊
2) Jealousy:
(Reading your story: Jealousy was so well depicted between Sameer and Naina. First Naina was jealous seeing the attention Sameer was getting from all the girls and in fact giving to one of the girls. And next, it was time for Sameer to get jealous when a hunk approaches Naina and tries to mingle with her)
Connection:
It takes me back to that auditorium again. The lecture was going on in full swing. I was busy explaining all the points of the treatment plan. And in between, I will catch her eye, and when found, she will give me an assuring smile (for the things to come after the lecture when we are alone again). Women! They know you inside out!
She was looking unapologetically gorgeous in the blue-red saree adorning her fair skin. Soon ... we would be alone again! But, in that instance, I also noticed many doctors looking at her intermittently! From a practical POV I can't blame them. She was, as usual, looking stunning that day.
After the reunion confession night, she was more expressive and made it her mission to make me ogle her whenever she is in front of me.😆
But all through the lecture, I could see that she had eyes only on me with that cute silly love lorn proud smile.
But seeing others looking at her, I felt Anger and Jealousy. As explained before (in my story), due to my self-imposed isolation, I hardly experienced this kind of jealousy ever before. It was jealousy of love and protection! It was strong! Grrr !!!! Shooo !!! She is mine!
The lecture got over, and then there was the customary Q & A interactive session. Among the delegates, there were a good number of intelligent and pretty female doctors! They were quite animated in their discussions. Q & A sessions are essential to make a name. I knew she will get bored hearing my medical mumbo-jumbo.
So, I had asked the siren to sit near the AC till the Q & A gets over in a short time. And then in between the session, I looked at her, and I could feel her fuming with jealousy seeing me interacting with many female doctors. Her perfectly feminine nose was red with capital J. And as I was explaining the facial prosthesis on the face of one of the lady delegates, My Lady was fuming with Jealousy with redness extending from nose to cheek.
Once back in the suite, she expressed all her jealousy & frustration of waiting whole day by claiming me with authority and vigorous intimacy. That was the day I realized the power of healthy jealousy in love and how it can add spice.
You expressed this aspect so nicely in this part of your story.
And so you are a plastic surgeon! Wow!
I'm actually thinking it's so uncanny no? Again jealousy...that too from both the ends...while it is normal for Naina to feel jealous whenever a girl approaches Sameer, it is easy to see how protective Sam instantly becomes whenever he gets a taste of his own medicine.
Loved to read your parallels to this one! Thanks for sharing Doc!
Well, her jealousy served you well! 😃😆
3) Rain:
(Reading your story: There is something so special about rain! You have used it perfectly to explain the first kiss of Sameer & Naina with the throbbing ache to get more intimate. The initiation of desire filled days and nights. Rain makes both of them notice more aspects of each other increasing or intensifying their hunger for each other)
I love rains Doc! And the reason I enjoyed your updated story all the more was because of the rain factor. I feel rains have a way of expressing different emotions- be it happiness, carnal desires, love, or morosity or even nostalgia...I can relate to rain anytime! 😆
Connecting point:
Rain played a significant role in my trip too. Shimla and Cherapunji were excellent with the cute amount of Drizzles. The evening walk in Shimla among the drizzles was the most memorable.
We did buy umbrellas but didn't use it. Rain has a way of enhancing beauty. Her Sleeveless Tee and knee-length skirt were breathtaking in the rain. It was chilly (10*C) with rain showers. One hour of getting wet in the drizzle we were running back to our suite to generate some body heat to quench the intense heat of desire that that rain had induced.
I don't believe in buying umbrellas these days! 😆 It doesn't rain much where I live though and even if it does, it's hardly intense!
That day I came to realize the true meaning of "Aag Barasti Hai Sawan Main"
Haha...you realized the meaning...when would our dear Naina ask this to Sameer? 😆
Point to Note: Sameer & Naina should not stand or romance under a tree when it rains! Why? Lighting can strike under trees as trees act as a conductor. 😆
Oh of course Doc! Rains would make a tree a conductor...😲😲 How did I overlook the fact? Blame the romantic in me to overlook science! 😆 Well, you'll see a similar thing in one of my One shots, titled the same, "Aag barasti hai sawan mein!"************
So, thanks again for reconnecting me back to that trip on a Monday evening.
My pleasure Doc!😊
Also, you have rekindled in me the interest to watch the show YUDKBH again. I am a loyal fan. However, after the school phase got over, I could not connect much with the story progression. I became an irregular viewer.
So, I was happy watching the saved episodes from School phase including the Mt. Abu Episodes. But after reading your story, I will watch it tonight to check the growing level of love and intimacy.
I totally relate to you Doc! I too can rewatch the episodes till Mt. Abu umpteen times...yet after the pathetic execution of the Delhi track and without exploiting the avenues in college much, I really don't blame you here. Though I still have hopes of the show jumping back to its former glory and initiation of some level of intimacy. Some episodes have been good in between, like when they get back together in college, the chemistry is as sparkling as ever. Then the recent two-three episodes...let's hope for some moments now! 😃
Thank you again for a great story. Btw, the amount of romance and feelings you express in your stories, you should better plan a North East trip with your better half.
I did travel to Bhutan last year Doc..though Darjeeling n Sikkim were also planned, but couldn't complete them due to the Bengal bandh last year. And we both made sure, the trip was during the rains...though of lesser intensity (so that we don't get stranded on the mountains, not that I mind that 😆). I've also been to Meghalaya long back, but yeah, as I've said before...it still tops my list of the most beautiful places to see in India! 😳
Here are some of the pics I took during my trip.
Hope it motivates you (If you haven't yet visited) to visit the places with your partner in crime. 😆
Your pics are lovely Doc! Thanks for sharing!
I'm pathetic at photography, except for a few lucky clicks😆! So all the more credit to you! 😃
