To me it's entirely reasonable that they have not focused on that aspect...I know many of you want to see her reflecting on that matter now or some of you later...

Bit I will say why it does not bother me in the narrative. 😊

When kids fall in love at that age...they don't see their actions as unreasonable or something that should induce any introspection...ever. It's the time of youthful folly..and I mean it as much as in jest and as in seriousness..the contrast in emotions only guided by the way the outcomes of that youthfulness ends in.

If she or any kid of that age were to reflect on this... they would be wary and every time they have a close brush with being caught out... they should become introspective but in youth it rarely happens..The exhilarating feeling of being in love obliterates all such thinking. Also, if you see it's only when Naina felt heartbreak she seemed to think that she ought to focus on her family 😆

Also, how you remember that aspect in your years ahead will be usually directly proportional to how those experiences turned out.. if they were great, you look back with longing, if they were educational, you look back with a sense of "been there done that", if they were bad..you have a different perspective about the experience. Sadiya's VO always gives me the feeling of a fabulous mix of longing and fine sense of proportion. Of how some aspects were downright silly and how some of them were worthy of being treasured forever..

I guess we will see that perspective much later from Naina in the serial.

@sanfan I agree completely. You have put it in words so nicely. 👏

At that age emotions are felt intensely and kids think of the present. It's not long term thinking. Naina is overwhelmed by these new feelings and the intensity of them takes precedence over everything so I don't think her behaviour is abnormal.

Hi Nivi,
Yes it was full on drama episode.
So bad Samaina couldn't say bye to each other but Sameer was happy at least he could talk to her and on other hand Naina thought he will call again poor girl!
The song they played it's very beautiful but I don't know the movie I heard this song for the first time.
Loved the way Sameer was caressing that sweater and after so many days he slept so peacefully.
Vishakha came to check on kids. Why can't she show her affection when he is awake?
Like someone said here she really needs a big jolt regarding him then only she will understand his value and will take a stand for him in the Somani house.
Finally our kiddo smiled and that too dil se! I was dying to see his smile and he did thanks to our Naina.
Enjoyed his teasing to Mr. Timetable so Timetable has scheduled time for bathroom break also this is so funny.
Vishakha and Mr.TT PDA was in full form. It literally broke my heart by seeing that hurt on Sameer's face. It's his right also to get his mom's love. I don't know why Vishakha can't do that.
Randeep was bang on here ,he showed that hurt, pain and longing so brilliantly.
Dadi singing even I also laughed like Sameer indeed it was funny.
Honestly I have nothing to say about KeDi they are the most evil of all.
I am very sure it's Dadi who took revenge for bike damage by taking that sweater.
I really hope Sameer does punch him in the face not just for himself but for all the fandom.
That is not just a sweater it's a beautiful memory and a souvenir of Samaina's journey and we all cherish it.
Vishakha I don't want to say anything can't she say anything to that servent when he got stale rotis for Sameer?
It's a house right ? In which house kitchen gets closed on time?
Height of stupidity! Good Sameer answered back.
Taiji and Rakesh on same page like really! Just someone said here it's eighth wonder of world.
Now both phones will be locked and letter phase will start.
I am really looking forward to it.
Yaar Naina is indeed very lucky to have friends like Swati and Preeti who will do anything for her.
Good Swati played along and saved her.
Today's episode belonged to Randeep/Ayesha/Kristina/Abhaji.
I honestly loved her performance as irritating Taiji.

Sorry hai ji to all the sabun CVs and my fellow forum members who are pakaoed by my questions.

In general, I try and avoid speculations or predictions because I get it wrong without fail, 100%

Analysis of characters well few years ago I used to analyze characters and tracks and would try to see the POV of CVs of this one show which was based on a classic novel. Then one day we got a spoiler from a reliable source on the sets about a twist and it was so crazy that one had to see it to believe it. The twist was totally W*F. I was watching it online streaming live. I stopped watching it mid episode and I was done with that show. Few months later same thing happened with another show. That was it for me and I have since then avoided in depth analysis of story and characters of sabuns.

There are such eloquent writers and mind readers on this thread especially. I leave the analysis to you experts who express my thoughts better than I can express myself.😃

Often, I write my posts while I am watching the episode and I just quickly note what I observe. I also tend to notice bizarre things unfortunately due to my slight OCD tendencies. Even then I don't write everything I observe or feel. Did I mention that the lower drawer of the bedside table by Sameer had a missing handle? Did I? Haan ki na?😆

Rose, I am wondering if chalu chees Dadi brought it from chor bazaar... see I cant help myself.😆 What millionaire's house has furniture in that house?

Also, Dadi's singing teacher was as besura as her!

Anyway I have taken a few steps back from YUD emotionally since Nanu's death. I understand the creative need for that angle but yeh dil hai ki manta nahi. I can't handle death in a novel or movie and especially a daily soap I am invested in emotionally and that too of such an important & beloved character. I would have stopped watching it by now if it was any other show.

I am also lazy, so I will just like or quote posts with a Ditto, be goofy and have fun discussing sarees and now apparently Librarian's chaddies.😆

You all can breath a sigh of relief for a few days next week as I am traveling and might not be able to post 😆😳

@ bold

Nandy!!!!!! Sorry🤗
I was just kidding. It was the first post I read and surf sawaal the that were actually super valid. I was just trying to behave like the elders who ask the little ones to shut up with their questions just because they are not able to answer it. You know when they know they are wrong the only way out is to tell the kid bado se sawaal nahi karte.

Please...I personally look forward to your quirky replies. Aise mat bolo ki we'll breathe a sigh of relief

Tell me about not analysing... I've done stupid stuff for a show as well 10 years back. Signed petitions, fought with the cvs etc etc hahhahhaa crazy days !!!. Had a different ID back then. Got so frustrated I stopped coming to IF altogether. Had to create a new ID coz I forgot the email n username😆

O bai, Rekha and Vibha 🤗 chillax please. My reply to you was in jest too and I am sorry if it didnt come across that way. I guess I need to work on my sense of humor and make shorter posts😆

On a serious note though, I do tend to be over critical so if I am killing the vibe of the show for any of you with my posts, please tell me to tone it down😳

Now lets get back to discussing important things like Vishaka or her sarees😆

Interesting interpretation...since they have kept Vishaka so enigmatic..these perspectives do seem to make a lot of sense. If she is not behaving thus due to any other issue...it seems reasonable to conclude that @bold...In fact, until Nanu's death...I had discounted her in Sam's life...and although I knew the dynamic will come up becos until Nanu left Sam's life, the conflict could not have become gripping (sorry for putting that across dryly) as Sam had almost not cared about his situation after Naina came into his life. So, in many ways..the remark of Vishaka when Nanu phones her up and tells her that you will be happy to know that Sameer wont require to come to Delhi and she was very happy about that...So, Nanu's death has compounded her issues...while she cannot forsake Sam under any circumstances, her ability for the tight rope walk will be severely tested.

Thank you 🤗😃

@Bold: Exactly...Right now she is walking on a tight rope after Nanu's death...Though in a fit of anger we all sometimes call her heartless and bad mother and all...But whenever I look at her especially these days I can see a sort of helplessness on her face...As if she is able to foresee something...She is able to foresee that if Sameer didn't live according to the Somanis they will not let him live peacefully...May be atleast till now she was like okay fine if my son doesn't like me fine!..but atleast he is happy with my father and away from Delhi...One thing I have noticed about her character is she is not a blind or dumb character...she has lived with Dadi-Bobby for so many years now and she definitely knows what kind of people they are...May be she still doesn't think Bobby as ill and he might be not that bad, but she definitely knows her MIL...She can read people and she must have definitely understood what Dadi is...Whatever the condition was during her marriage to Bobby, that was very long back which eventually will come up in the show...but I feel there has to be a very strong reason for her to leave her child and shower all her affection on someone else...It's just that so much of time has passed that now she also doesn't know how to cover the dist between her and Sam...Emotional disconnect when combined with many years apart is a deadly combination...it takes a lot of effort to cover that distance...After Nanu's death the guilt which was in her mind for so many years, she is afraid that it is slowly overpowering her and can any moment lead to her breakdown..and hence she wants Sam also to adjust...Infact her character is a complex character till now...many things are and many of her feelings are hidden...and after Nanu's death they all might come out in the open soon hopefully...But I somehow don't find her that bad as a mother...Especially from past 2-3 instances...She wants to love Sam but she is not able to...And if we think it from a mother's POV that is the worst thing that can happen to a lady...her child is in front of her and even if she wants to she can't shower her affection on him...It is actually a pity!
