Part 1
Sameer tries to call Naina but has to give up the phone as his neighbor asks for it. Naina sits beside the phone waiting for Sameers call. Sameer looks at the sweater Naina knit for him. BG- O yara tu pyaaro se hai pyara. Naina falls asleep beside the phone while Sameer falls asleep holding the sweater. Vishakha comes to check on Rohan and Sameer. She sits besides Sameer and kisses his forehead. She recalls Nanajis words asking her to keep Sameer happy. She wipes her tears and leaves from there.
Next day morning, someone knocks a the door, Bela rushes to open the door and its Tayji. Tayji says Poojas in laws called as Belas phone wasnt working. Tayji asks her to make tea and Bela asks if all is well with Pooja. Tayji says yes. Tayji finds Naina sleeping besides the telephone, clinging on to a cushion, and murmuring 'please call'. Tayji scolds Naina and asks whats going on.
Narrator-- Those days elders eyes were like X ray machine. Tayji din watch movies but she tried to trace out all details of my romance. That day i was taken to task. Memory of that day still scares me.
Tayji asks Naina what is going on and since when? She says coz of him, you din go to school right? Rakesh too scolds Naina. Naina stammers. Tayji says all this is Belas fault. Tayji asks Naina to tell her the name of that boy. Anand defends Naina. Tayji says my experience tells me something is amiss. Tayji asks if Naina wasnt talking on phone then why Poojas in laws couldnt reach Bela?
Rakesh asks Naina to answer. Naina is silent. Tayji says in this stage of age, any girl talks to boys only. Naina says nothing like his. Anand tells Tayji they are making a mountain out of a molehill. Tayji warns Anand to be careful. Anand asks Naina to tell the truth. Naina says she was talking on phone. Tayji asks Bela what they were doing? Bela says sleeping. Tayji asks Naina to spill the name of the boy. Naina says was talking to Swati. Preeti defends Naina as well. Tayji asks Anand to redial the phone to find out who Naina was really talking to. Naina is scared. Anand is worried.
Sameer recalls speaking with Naina and smiles. He wakes up and finds Rohan pacing in the room. He keeps coming in Rohans way and asks if his timetable has time for bathroom and to tell him else his Dadi will scold Sameer. Rohan ignores him and sits at the study table. Sameer asks him if he is angry that Sameer broke his bat?
Part 2
Sameer notices the timetable and says after 15 mins Rohan has to go to the bathroom. He keeps whistling as he goes to the bathroom and it irritates Rohan. Vishakha comes and wishes Rohan and Sameer. Rohan hugs Vishakha. Sameer feels left out. Vishakha asks Rohan to drink milk & take vitamin pills. He even wipes his face on Vishakhas saree. She takes care of him. Sameer says i am feeling very hot, need AC. Vishakha says Rohan cant bear AC so we have cooler. Sameer says i cant sleep in cooler. Vishakha says in 4-5 days you will get used to it. Sameer fumes and walks off.
Part 3
Anand dials Swatis number. All watch worried. Anand asks for Swati. Preeti signals Naina that she had dialed Swatis number before Anand called. Tayji asks Swati if Naina had called at night. Swati stammers but says yes. Tayji keeps phone down. Says to keep phone locked. Rakesh agrees. Tayji then reveals that something is going on with Naina, she has changed. She says Poojas in laws were complaining that she doesnt know how to do any domestic work. Anand-Bela defend Pooja. Tayji says she too defended Pooja but now its time Naina-Preeti are taught household chores.
Sameer comes down and finds Dadi rehearsing classical singing. He laughs. Vishakha asks Sameer how is his injury? Sameer doesnt react. Vishakha tells servant to cook paratha for Sameer. Servant says kitchen is closed. Dadi asks Servant to get something for Sameer. He goes. Dadi says early to bed, early to rise. Rohan gets up early and is excellent in everything unlike Sameer. She says as such Sameer had no one to teach him good habits. Servant gets previous days roti. Sameer fumes. He throws food away and gets up to leave. He notices his sweater being used as mop. He recalls Nainas gift. Dadi smirks looking at him.
Precap--- BG-Zindagi pyaar ka geet hai. Naina is awake at night. Sameer happily walks towards the postbox and kisses a letter and drops it in the postbox. Naina is reading the letter and is dancing around happily.
