Rohan and Deepika questions

I don't understand one thing. Why didn't Rohan and Deepika come to Manu's funeral with Vishaka? Aren't they her "kids? Wasn't Nanu after all vishaka's dad. Don't they feel sad that their grandfather died?

Why didn't Nanu never mention Rohan or Deepika? I get it, he loves Sameer like his son. But he couldn't possibly hate the other two...
also why don't Sameer and Deepika know about each other. When Vishaka said this is Sameer ur brother, then why did she automatically decide that he was a step brother? Don't kids have innocence and naivety?

Sameer knew of Deepika, but Deepika never knew him..Mayb he never visited Delhi aft being put in hostels ..N deepika is small too, tats the reason she is unaware of him ,unlike Rohan Vishaka mentioned naa tat they have met once..i think aft Vishaka gettin married again ,Sameer never visited the delhi home..n im sure the somanis never spoke abt him at home too ..Dadi hates him..
Nanus death itself was sudden, tats the reason jus Somani n Vishaka came over.. n aaj Dadi says naa she cudnt come ovr for Nanus funeral..Sameer cudnt handle whn ever Rohans conversation was bought up ..Nanu knows it,tats the reason he never spoke abt them around Sameer.N abt deepika saying he is the step brother, its evident tat Dadi was the one who told her..For Nanu,it was always Sameer..Not tat he cudnt have loved the other grandkids, but Vishaka chose her 2nd marriage over Sameer (i think)..Nanu has raised Sameer (as per Nanus conversations @the hospital)..Nanu is aware tat Sameer thinks tat those kids tuk his mom away frm him, especially Rohan..I think tats the reason Nanu choose never to talk abt them n must have preferred stayin away from them too mayb for Sameer..They have their perfect family, but Sameer didnt have his ..

For starters, Rohan has no connection to Nanu. Of course he could have come as a mark of respect. But Somani and Vishaka left in a hurry, it was an emergency, so I'm sure they didn't bring the kids. And Deepika is too young... also I don't thin she had much contact with Nanu. Considering how daadi is I'm not surprised either. 🤔

I get that the kids obviously didn't know about Nanu being ill etc but he has just passed away and nobody else in this house is bothered about it...? Then again, Vishakha herself is so calm and composed and happy, I doubt she ever even talked about her dad to her kids. What bothers me is that Sameer is going through so much emotional turmoil and she's so uncaring that her Rohan baba's schedule is more important to her than the fact that her dad died? Did she actually have any empathy for her father? Or after so many years of being away, it has just become a fact of life for her?
I had thought that nanu's death would have brought the two closer, Sameer being able to confide in his mother and she can share her grief with him. But she clearly doesn't care so Sameer becomes a burden rather than anything else.

In any case, it's very clear Vishakha has little say in the house so she's going to be of absolutely no help to Sameer. I hope at the very least, for his sake, she sends him back to his own house...I don't understand why on earth he needs to go to boarding school?? He was doing just fine in Ahmedabad...and they don't even have to care for his expenses or anything since Nanu must've left everything in Sameer's name. He can hire as many servants as he want, live whatever way he wants and the Somanis don't ever have to hear from him again.

This is one of the few situations where I feel cuttung off all ties is the best way to go...Sameer already has all the love he wants from Mundit, Naina and the Agarwals - who I am sure will love him so much he will never be lonely!
