Part 22
All were excited with the date of marriage. Marriage was in Mumbai & reception was planned in Chandigarh. Sameer's family left for Chandigarh to start with marriage prep. They decided to come 10 days before marriage.
Sameer & Naina were worried since too many things to wrapped up before marriage. They need to furnish & decorate their house. This was the top priority. Sameer was busy in completing his assignments before marriage and he handed over the entire responsibility of house to Naina. He handed over blank sign cheques so that she can use them for furnishing the house.
But Naina had decided that she will not use the single money from Sameer's account and will decorate the house on her own. She hired an interior designer and finalize how it needs to be done. She used to go to hospital from 9 to 3 and then entire evening she used to spent in there home to ensure everything is perfect.
Naina used to call Sameer daily and ask him to go and check if he needs any changes, but Sameer used to royally ignore & used to say I trust you. Sameer didn't even bother to check the progress. The days were passing and just 20 days left for the marriage but they still didn't decide on there marriage & reception outfits. Naina used to daily remind him and he used to say kar lenge. She was worried ki sab kaise hoga, but Sameer was just concentrating on his assignments.
Finally, he got 2 days off & decides to complete all pending stuff. He woke up at 10.00 am and gave call to Naina. Naina was busy in attending the patients, she just messaged him that she will call him back. Sameer was lying in the bed and was waiting for her call. After 15 mins phone rings. Naina was already angry on him.
Sameer: Hi Nainu...kaise ho
Naina: Achi hoon Sameer...tum kaise ho...meri kaise yaad aayi
Sameer: Arey meri honewali biwi ho...mein tumhe bahot miss kara raha tha...humari shadi bhi hai na 20 din mein..toh mein soch raha tha ki milke outfits decide kar lete hai. Maine ek designer se baat kar li hai...use milne jaana hai 12.00 baje.
Naina: Tumne mujhse pucha mein free hoon aaj?
Sameer: Madam gusse mein hai...mood kharab hai shayad & then said...jaan abhi pooch raha hoon na.
Naina: Tum pooch rahe ho ya bata rahe ho
Sameer: Gussa kyun ho rahi ho...mein busy tha...I have to complete all my work so that I can take 20 days off for our marriage.
Naina: Sameer mujhe kaam nahi hai kya...did you bothered to check once ki ghar ka kaam kaise chal raha hai...outfits ka bhi tumhe aaj yaad aaya jab tum free ho.
Sameer: Sorry Naina...I know ki tum sab akele handle kar rahi ho...but I really trust you...sachii...acha suno aaj puchta hoon...kaise chal raha hai interiors ka kaam...sab shadi tak ho jaye na?
Naina: Haan ho jayega, in next 5 days it should be done.
Sameer: Acha batao...paint kaunse color ka hai...mujhe off white chahiye tha, sara furniture brown mein hai na & mujhe living room ke extended balcony mein flower garden aur haan swing lagwana tha. Hope sab mere expectation ke hisaab se huva hoga na.
Sameer was still lying on the bed...but shock of life was waiting for him
Naina was super pissed with his farmayish
Naina: Tumhe nahi lagta ki bohot jaldi tumhe sab cheezo ki yaad aa rahi hai..the work is almost done it is at final stage. Maina purple color se paint kiya hai ghar ko. Furniture white color mein hai. Garden banana ke liye mujhe time nahi mila aur haan curtains red color ke finalize kiye hai.
Listening to this Sameer was in shock and he got up from his bed.
Sameer: Tumne mere ghar ko purple color se paint kiya...white color ka furniture...red color ke curtains...tumhara dimaag thik hai...ye koi combination hua...tumhari choice aise kaise Naina...Niana mujhe nahi pata mujhe ye sab nahi chahiye
Naina: Tumhara ghar matlab...mujhe laga who hamara hai...Tumhe nahi chahiye matlab...maine tumse pucha tha right ki chalo meer saath sab finalize karne, but tumhare paas time nahi...you gave me the authority to decorate...phir ab kyun chilla rahe ho
Sameer: Dekho Naina ...purple color
Naina: Jo mujhe thik laga who maine kiya...itni hi phikar hoti toh aatey mere saath..plan karte apna day...na ki sotey rehte...jaise ab so rahe ho
Sameer: Tumhe kisne kaha ki mein so raha hoon
Naina: Kisi ko kehne jaroorat nahi hai...tumhe janti nahi hoon kya mein
Sameer: Pehle toh mera mood kharab kiya kitna acha mood tha...kitne sapne saajay the ghar ko leke...Naina tum purple color kaise use kar sakti ho...I hate you for this
Naina: Mujhe tumse baat nahi karni...mujhe bahoot kam hai...Bye & she cuts the phone
Sameer get super angry on her and calls her back, but she didn't attend his call. He keeps on messaging how can she use purple & white combo. Finally, he decides to visit his home. He takes the bath in hurry & leaves.
While driving, he keeps on calling her. She picks up the call & he again ask her, "Naina sach mein how can you use purple colour she just said, "Sameer...mein busy hoon and cuts the call...Damn how stupid she is...Purple colour.
Finally, he reaches his new home. He reaches 18 th floor, sees towards his main entrance door & his mouth remains open.
A beautiful wooden safety door with Name plate "Sameer & Naina Maheshwari & small cute Ganesh Idol kept on the upper shelf of the door. Sameer touches the Name plate letters and when his fingers reaches Naina...there comes a smile on his face.
He quickly takes out the keys and open the doors.
There were people inside along with interior designer (Mohit & Sapna) who were working. With a surprised look Mohit comes ahead and says, "Hello Sameer Sir...Welcome to your home...this is the first time we are seeing you here since the day we started to work here. Sameer shakes his hands with Mohit & Sapna...but his eyes were on the walls..since there was no purple color.
He asks Mohit, "Walls are not painted with Purple colour?
Mohit & Sapna look at each other and says, "Purple
Sameer: Naina told me that she painted house with purple colour but here it is off white.
Mohit: Sir...Naina madam will kill us if we do anything wrong or anything without her permission. She has personally looked into each and everything. She didn't even left the small corners of this house. Color, furniture, interiors everything is finalized by her. Not a single thing we have done on our own. She daily comes here by 4.00 pm and stays till 9.00 pm to ensure everything is perfect and as per her instruction and not even in dream also we cant think about purple colour. You can take a look sir we are almost done within a 2 to 3 days everything will be finalized.
Sameer covers his face with his palms, laughs and says "Purple colour & white curtains...Nainaaa
He starts exploring the interiors of the house. The walls are beautifully painted with off white colour and everything was beyond his expectation. Perfect colour combinations. Light colour 3 seater sofa with multi-colour cushions with beautiful wall unit parallel to it. Where the sofa ends terrace starts which was a lovely small garden with full of flower plants, show plants and lawn in the entire terrace. On one corner there was a small pond with lotus plant. A small 2-seater swing with small table placed ahead along with 2 chairs. Sameer goes and sits on the swing and close his eyes and there comes a smile on his face.
He gets up to see other rooms. There were wind chimes hanging on the curtain rods which were making a pleasant tinkling noise.
Kitchen was fully modularized.
The most interesting part was there were 2 stores rooms one inside kitchen and one adjacent to kitchen. The one adjacent to kitchen was converted into Pooja ghar. The door was fully carved with small hanging bells, there was a small platform on which big mandir was made up of Marble with beautiful golden carvings. Sameer touched mandir with his hands and, "Naina this is beyond my expectation his thoughts were disturbed by Mohit when he said, "Sir would you not like to see your bedroom. Again it was simple with king size bed and wardrobe with 4 doors. Again, the balcony was full with flower plants, hanging show plants and a single seater swing.
Mohit again asked Sameer, "Sir did you liked it...Sameer just said, "Yes...why don't you people take a off...may be you can wrap up by 2.00 and continue your work tomorrow
Mohit, "But Madam had asked us to complete it as soon as possible and she will not like it
Sameer, "You don't worry about that...I will handle her...she will reach by 3.30 here right...I will speak to her...you all can leave...if she calls you just tell her that you wrapped early today & don't tell her that I am here
He further asks, "whats about your payment
Mohit replies, "Its fully done
Sameer then realize that Naina did all this on her own because no amount was deducted from his account.
As per Sameers instruction they all leave the place. Sameer then orders purple flowers and a beautiful cake. He tries calling Naina but since she was angry she doesnot picks up his call. Madam angry che...hogi kyun nahi...main bohot waqt jo deta hoon usku...upar se aaj subah subah baras pada us pe...tub hi na Sameer kabhi nahi sudhrega.
Finally at 4.00 the door bell rings...since no one opens the door Naina uses the spare keys and opens the door. She gets irritated since she doesnot sees Mohit & Sapna around. She immediately calls them in anger and ask the reason why the work is stopped. As suggested by Sameer, Mohit lies to her that workers were not available. But he promise that in next few days final work will be done.
Naina starts speaking to herself roaming in the house, "kisiko padhi nahi hai...Sameer ko sirf sona hai...Mohit ke paas workers nahi hai...mein jaise free hi baithi hoon.
Sameer was hiding in bedroom behind the door. Naina sees all sliding's are open, she sense someone's presence but she get scared. She starts calling Sameer but his phone is switch off & hence she decides to leave the place immediately.
As she turns to leave, Sameer holds her from back and closes her eyes. She now gets more scare and says, "leave me...who are you? but she realize its none other than her Sameer. He takes out his hand from her eyes and holds both of her hands. He comes nearer to her, her back collides on his chest and there comes a smile on both of there faces.
Sameer slowly speaks in her ears, "Purple colour haan and kiss her on neck...Thank you Naina...it is just wonderful...way beyond my expectation...you naughty girl likes to irritate me. She quickly push him back and says in anger turning towards him, "tumhe ab time mila...mujhe sach mein purple colour hi use karna chahiye tha
Sameer says, "accha and tries to hold her hand but she pulls of and shows him thumb and runs. Sameer runs behind her in living room and then holds her finally, lift her up in his arms and twirls.
Naina ask him, "chodo mujhe..utaro
Sameer, "Nahi
Naina, "Please
Finally he kisses her forehead and put her down.
Naina then ask, "tum kab aaye yaha...purple colour kheech laya na & she laughs. Sameer too laughs with her.
He then brings the flowers and cake he ordered for her. While giving flowers he says, "to my love...thanks dear and hugs her.
Naina says, "thank you mat bolo please
They both sit on the sofa & cut the cake.
Naina says, "thank you for this bohot bhook lagi thi
Sameer, "aur kuch mangate hai and he order Pizza and Pasta
Naina seats folding her legs on Sofa, turns towards Sameer while eating cake and says , "Sameer mujhe tension ho raha hai...sab kaise hoga...outfit bhi finalize nahi kiya...ye kaam khatam hone ko aur 3 to 4 days jayenge...maine aur kuch ghar ka samaan bhi order kiya hai...bahot sari cheeze baki hai
Sameer wipes cake from Naina lips with his fingers and says, "tension mat lo...sab ho jaayega...we will purchase all home appliances today...tomorrow morning at 11.00 we will meet costume designer to finalize our outfits...toh major task ho jaayega
They together started to prepare the list meanwhile door bell rings, Sameers collect the Pizza & Pasta. While eating he asks Naina, "why didn't you used my cheques for payments. Naina stops eating and says, "you really want me to answer this?...dekho Sameer its not about like that I dont want to use your money but I wanted to do something for our house on my own...so I didn't use..hope you understand and don't take me wrong
Sameer: Bilkul nahi Naina...tum jo chaho kar sakti ho...but whenever you need something don't hesitate to ask...its all yours
Naina: Yes boss
Sameer pulls Naina's nose & smiles
They quickly finish the food and headed towards the store. Sameer surprise to see Naina's inquisitive nature before finalizing any stuff and ensuring to get proper discount.
They finish buying all home appliances and delivery of was planned on next day evening
By the time they finished the shopping it was 10.00.
Sameer was already hungry so he said we will have dinner and then I will drop you.
Naina was not much hungry, hence she ordered a cold coffe for herself & Sameer ordered Biryani for himself. Initially Naina was not hungry initially but looking at yummy biryani she starts eating from his plate. Sameer was just adoring her and her antics...smiles comes on his face. Naina was totally unaware whats going in his mind she was just busy in eating. They finish the dinner with chocolate brownie.
They reaches at Naina's building, before she gets down from the car Sameer holds her hand...kiss..and says
Sameer: Thank you.
Naina: "for what?
Sameer: "for everything...my life would have been dull without you.
Naina: abhi toh sirf sketch bana hai usme rang bharne baaki hai and she winks.
Sameer: Waah Mrs. Maheshwari kya baat kahi hai aapne...is baat ek kiss toh banta hai
Naina gives a angry look and says, "Thappad chahiye...Goodnight
Sameer: Be ready by 10.30am we have to finalize the outfits.
Naina: Suno pohachte hi call kar dena
Sameer: Ok Madam
They both says Good Night to each other & Sameer leaves
Vishakha gives a call to Sameer at 8.00 am and says
Vishakha: Good Morning Sameer...uthe nahi ab tak...dekho aaj Sunday hai..Naina ko bhi chutti hogi...tum log aaj apne saare kaam khatam kar lo...haan aur aaj ka din acha hai toh please Mangalsutra kharid lena...jaise Naina ko chahiye waise...& ask Sameer to purchase the Mangalsutra today since the day is good...aur haan roj pehne ke liye ek chota bhi lena.
Sameer: Ok Mom...khareed lunga...aur kuch
Vishakha: Aur kuch nahi...baki jewelleries hum le lenge...tujhe aur kuch teri taraf se lena hai to lele
Sameer: Ok mumma...Ghar ka kaam almost khatam ho chuka...sab aapki bahu ne kiya hai...aap log kab nikal rahe ho?
Vishakha: Friday evening we will reach
Sameer then quickly freshen up and leaves to collect Naina. They both complete breakfast at Naina's place & then meet the designer.
They finalize total 4 costumes for Mehndi, Haldi, Shadi & reception at Chandigarh.
Sameer then took her to jewelry shop to but Mangalsutra.
Naina chooses a beautiful diamond mangalsutra, Sameer too likes it. Naina becomes overwhelmed and her eyes were full of tears. Looking at her Sameer side hug her and says
Sameer: So this will make you officially mine...you will be Mrs. Naina Sameer Maheshwari and winks
Listening to this smiles appears on Naina's face
