Part 7
Naina & Preeti were helping Preeti's mom for gift wrapping and tagging the names. There comes Vishakha (Sameer's Mom) complaining that why she is not bless with a girl child, these boys are not at all useful, they will never understand my pain and help me in my work. I am so tensed and worried, lot of task needs to be completed.
Preeti said, "Mummy don't worry, as soon as we finish we will come in your room and shall help you. Naina & Preeti both went to Vishakha's room and helped her with preparation and wrapping. Rohan came searching Preeti and looking at her, he too started helping with the stuffs, after sometime Sameer too joined them.
Vishakha was pissed off with both her Son's behaviour and said, "Ab kaise aa gaye mujhe madat karne ke liye, Maa ki koi value hi nahi rahi hai. Rohan & Sameer they both understood that Mummy is super pissed and then they started pampering her and manooying her.
After sometime Sameer's dad entered the room with the Jewelry boxes and handed it over to Vishakha. Vishakha asked Preeti to wear there khandani bangles and confirm whether the size is perfect now.
There was a trend in Maheshwari's, all Maheshwari's bahu were wearing the same design bangles, which were very traditional. Dadi, Vishakha too had same design and now Sameer's dad ordered sets for Preeti.
Bangles were very traditional and design was so unique, Naina liked the design and she quickly asked whether she could take the pics and ask her mom to order for same design. Vishakha immediately blurted out, "tum haan bol do maine abhi order kar deti hoon".
Rohan & Preeti were sitting near to her they both understood what she meant to say. They looked at her giving a surprised look. Covering up she changed her sentence stating, "tumhe pasand hai to maine tumhare liye order kar deti hoon. Too which Naina replied, "nahi aunty maine toh sirf aise hi photo le rahi thi, maine mummy se keh dongi
After completing the work they all left except Rohan...he ensured that he is helping her as warned by Preeti. Vishakha was very emotional and said, "I am happy that you got a lovely and caring life partner, Preeti is very caring & good girl, she will always support you, she understand you and she will be your strength. Rohan was very overwhelmed with his mom's word and asked her, "I know you are happy but something is bothering you and I know it's not about me, could you please speak your fears out.
There were tears in her eyes and she said I am worried for Sameer, "he is not at all taking interest in serious relationship, he don't want to be committed to any girl, he just want to be alone and enjoy his life and fulfill all his dream. How much he wants to earn more, he will surely win the awards but getting true life partner is very difficult and one has to be very serious about this. But he is not taking this seriously. "Koi ladki pasand ati hi nahi, usse lagta hai sari ladkiyan uske name, fame & paiso ke piche hai. Rohan was understanding his moms dilemma, he consoled her and said, "Jab usse pyaar hoga woh khud hi ye sab samaj jayega, aap please chinta mat karo uski, usse bhi sacha jeevan sathi milega, aur ab rona bandh, waqt aane par maine usse baat kar lunga, he will surely understand the importance of love & marriage in life when he will truly fall in love Maa...ab chale niche sab wait kar rahe honge humara dinner ke liye. He wiped her tears and assured her that, he too will get settle in his life...his thought process will surely change; he too will urge to explore a life with his partner.
Post dinner Preeti forced Naina to applied Mehndi on her hands and legs. Naina applied but it was very simple and elegant. Rohan was sitting with them and soon Sameer joined them and they all were cracking jokes and giggling. Naina said, "Brothers bhai also should put Mehndi, initially Sameer refused but then he agreed for small circle of mehndi. Rohan clicked many photos of four of them together. Sameer asked him to click from his mobile too. Two pairs of hands with different poses.
Naina was tired and she said she wants to go for sleep. Rohan asked Preeti for a walk in a garden and they both left. Sameer accompanied Naina upstairs they both were quiet. Since the mehndi was applied to her hand, she was not able to open the door..she looked at Sameer and he understood and he signed Naina with his hand and opened the door. He asked her do you need anything else. She replied could you please give the book from my bag. I would have removed myself but because of this Mehndi and my dresses in the bag will get spoil . He asked her do you read daily, she replied I am not be able to sleep unless I read something. He opened her bag and found the book along with her diary. He thought it's a book and opened mistakenly and read few lines

Naina was drinking water and when she turned and saw Sameer reading her diary, she ran and grabbed it from his hand and said, "You can't read this, it's something personal. Sameer was speechless reading the sentence. He said, "Sorry, mujhe nahi pata tha, ki tumhari diary hai. She replied, "its ok. He then took the book from the bag handed over to her and walked towards the door, but suddenly stopped and asked her, "do u need something else she said "No, he then said, "Good Night, sweet dreams and closed the door.
Sameer was lying on the bed and his mind was just thinking about the sentence he read in Naina's diary...hi s heart felt something about that line...he thought about there first encounter in hospital on her birthday...while thinking he felt asleep.
Haldi Ceremony:-
Next day all were ready and set for Haldi ceremony, they all gathered in a lawn at early morning. Dulha & Dulhan were seating in the middle of shamiana. All applied haldi on Dulha Dulhan. Sameer ne toh Rohan ko haldi se nehle hi diya. Rohan ensured haldi too is applied on Sameer as well and said, "Dulhe ki jhooti haldi lagane se Shadi jaldi ho jati hai'. Sameer replied, "toh ye kahavat jhooti ho jayegi abhi bhaiya. Rohan replied, "Dekhte hai
Sameer was killing everyone with his look. He was wearing white long kurta pyajama with sleeves folded and was flooded with haldi. Many girls were behind Sameer to apply haldi on his face and he was enjoying all attention from girls.
Preeti did applied her jhooti haldi to Naina, hugged her and prayed, "god please meri yeh dost ko koi toh pasand aajaye...issi kisise pyaar ho jaaye, beinteha pyaar aur maine iske shadi maine nachu. Naina said tu pagal ho gayi hai...apni shadi ki khushi sambhli nahi ja rahi hai. Naina was slaying in cream color cotton anarkali with moti ka jhumkas, long open hairs, haldi applied on her face and hand. She too was not looking less than a bride.
Sameer eyes were searching for Naina, when he found her standing alone, he came near to her and said, "Yeh ladkiyan toh mujhe chod hi nahi rahi hai...tumhe nahi lagani haldi mujhe Naina replied, "jagah kaha bachi hai..shakal dekhi hai apni and laughed loudly. Sameer then said, "par tumhare chehre pe bahut jagah hai and he applied haldi on her cheeks and touched her nose and said "Happy Haldi. Naina smiled but her phone ranged in between, she excused herself and took the call.
Sameer was surprised with his self-behavior; he questioned himself, "why I start behaving like an idiot whenever she is near..Happy Haldi..really Sameer saying this he too then left.
Sangeet Function :-
Sangeet function was at 8.00 pm. Naina was busy in dressing up Preeti and Sameer was with Rohan. It was already late and Naina was not ready. Rohan & Preeti reached the Sangeet hall just before function was about to start. Sameer too managed to reached on time.
Both the families finished the Tilak Ceremony, they exchanged the gifts. The sangeet function was about to start.
Vishakha was observing the smiling faces of Rohan and Preeti. Sameer came near to her and kept one hand on her shoulder, hold her other hand and asked her, "Happy. She looked at his face and pulled his cheeks and replied, "yes...very very happy
Vishakha said someone is looking very handsome today in Dark Navy blue Shwerwani and white payjama...nice selection. Sameer replied, "aap ka favourite hain na blue isliye yeh choose kiya
She then further asked, "tujhe koi pasand aai...kitni sari ladkiyan hai yaha pe...koi toh achi lagi hogi Sameer said, "Not again mom...mujhe koi pasand nahi aai...sab ne kitna over makeup kiya hai...heavy jewelries...heavy dresses...simplicity naam ki koi cheez bachi hi nahi hai...Mom aap janti hai na...I am not interested in all this, let me focus on my career and achieve my dreams...I can't get diverted. Ladki & Relationship commitment mangte hai & I don't want to commit to anyone. I am happy all alone.
Vishakha was upset with Sameer's response but she didn't lose the hopes she just smiled and left from there.
Sameer was busy in his mobile but he got distracted as someone passed from his side and he just looked up. The girl was wearing a blush pink color lehenga with one side dupatta tucked. The back of the blouse was deep and round shape with dori. Her curves were perfect and the color was just going with her fair skin. Her hairs were open and there was a diamond bracelet in her right hand.
He started walking towards her and was surprised to see her face it was none other than Naina with minimal make-up, diamond necklace and earing with bindi. He said, "Chashmis you are looking beautiful and gorgeous...pink really suits you it is going with your complexion
Sameer was distracted when his father came and asked him to check whether the DJ & sound system are proper because function was just about to start.
First performance was from the kids and everyone enjoyed with them.
Sameer too performed on "Oh Oh Jaane Jana...Dhunde Tujhe Deewana... but then he announced this is only my favourite song...I am not searching anyone in my life...Love you all. Girls were literally drooling over him and were clicking photos with him.
Then Naina's name was announce, everyone was eager to see what she is going to perform. She performed on "Navrai majhi ladachi ladachi ga in which Preeti's Mom & Dad to perform...she too pulled Preeti & Rohan on the stage and it was mind-blowing performance. Sameer was surprised to see chashmish rocking on the stage.
Rohan & Preeti performed a couple dance on "Tose Naina lage re
After all performance they all dance on the common floor...Naina, Preeti & Vishakha dance on London Thumakda which was further accompanied by Sameer's father, Dada, Dadi, Rohan & Sameer... they all together were rocking on the floor.
Sameer was getting irritated as he was getting surrounded by the girls and was not able to enjoy to fullest, he was trying to pull himself from there but was not successful. His eyes were searching for Naina and was eager to dance with her. But Naina was rocking the floor with her thumkas along with Preeti & Rohan. Sameer finally joined them and they performed dharti phad dance on "Badri ki dulhaniya. Sameer was not able to take his eyes from Naina...he just did ishara to her with his hands and said beautiful and she just smiled.
Then they all decided to do Garbha. These 4 were tired hence decided to join crowd later. There were few Preeti's cousin who were full latoo on Naina and they pulled her to dance. Sameer didn't liked their behavior and he insisted Rohan to lets go on the dance floor. Rohan was surprised with Sameer's behavior but didn't react. Rohan & Sameer smartly joined them and pushed these boys to other corner.
The song played was "Lahu muh lag gaya Sameer & Rohan was not able to catch the steps done by Naina & Preeti, but finally they managed. Sameer face was glowing, he was just seeing towards Naina's steps, how she is catching the beats and changing different steps. He was just following her.
Dinner was finished and the gang was having ice- cream and chitchatting with each together sitting on the steps, Vishakha called Rohan & Preeti to introduce to the guest. It was only Sameer & Naina sitting together then.
Naina was feeling awkward but Sameer started the conversation. He said, "Tum bahot achha dance karti ho, you just rocked the floor aur mujhe kabhi nahi laga ki tumhari choice itni trendy and simple hogi, look at yourself perfect combination of dress and jewellery. Naina was not able to say anything but just said, "Thankyou...tum pe blue color bahot acha lag raha hai...cute lag rahe ho there was silence for a while...Sameer then again initiated a conversation and asked her by signaling hands towards her and himself, "FRIENDS ? Naina was not able to respond she was just looking into his eyes. The eye lock was break when Naina phone rang...it was a video call...Sameer saw the name flashing was Rishi. Naina excused her and went to take the call. Sameer was eyeing on her as she was very happy while she was talking on the phone. She was showing her earings and doing all nakhras while speaking.
Sameer murmured, "Rishi...interesting"
