I think somanis are also as rich as Maheshwaris... May be somani lost his wife just like vishakha lost her husband... So they got married and maybe somani's mother didn't want sameer to be a part of their family... They may go this route as dadi is negative according to the spoilers. Deepika should be vishakha-somani kid only... She's too small to be from somani's first marriage.

I don't think Sameer is a love child... As it was once mentioned by Sameer's vo that nanu was way ahead of times, so he got his daughter remarried. After yesterday's episode, i feel nanu legally adopted sam as his heir... Thats the reason he's a Maheshwari.

So many possibilities are there... Lets see which route cv's takes... I hope everything is shown in a realistic way.

I think Vishakha's first husband died. nanu got her married again . But in those days, remarriage of a widow was difficult especially with a child. the second husband would not accept the child. So nanu agreed to take care of the child so that vishakha could get remarried. so whenever relations broke down between sameer and his parents, nanu stepped in, so that vishakha's family life would not be disturbed and sameer also would not be neglected. else, sameer would have been ill-treated, and vishakha would have been torn between husband and son. and when a mother leaves behind her son to set up a new home, and her father takes up parental duties, automatically she moves away atleast a little bit from parental attachment and duties.

in sumeet mittal's life, his mom died when he was 2. i think his father remarried. so his nana brought him away , perhaps becoz his father was unable or unwilling to keep him, and adopted him...so that he was not ill-treated.

Only once the word Kabra was mentioned in the serial, that too over phone by Sameer - "Kabra Residence". What does it mean? Does it mean Nanu's surname is Kabra? Too much analysis destroys the soul of a story. The only blooper with surname was 'Rakesh Maheshwari' in the VO during third of fourth episode. The thing which is unclear is - whether Sameer's father surname was Maheshwari or not. A widow can along with her kids can take up the maiden name. May be that's why Sameer is Maheshwari or his father was also a Maheshwari. Maheshwaris marry Maheshwaris in Rajasthan. He once said to his mother that "surname aapka change hua hai, Mera nahi!" Hopefully the confusion will be cleared in the coming episodes.

I didn't know rakesh was mentioned as Rakesh Maheshwari.. missed tat bit.. mayb the Maheshwari marryin Maheshwari mite b like how u mentioned tat it happens in Rajasthan
