Colour symbolisms have been a dominating theme in the show.Hence this is to elucidate on how the 'orange/saffron'' saree that Sameer decked his Naina with has inkling on their relationship now and in future.

The color orange radiates warmth and happiness, combining the physical energy and stimulation of red with the cheerfulness of yellow. I believe apart from bonding on a psychic level, physical bonding is a necessary aspect in every relationship. It does not have to be gross always. Just the sight of the beloved is an assurance in itself.

No doubt they say"Out of sight, out of mind ''for the flings and infatuations.Though both of them know that their love is rock solid and can endure storms and separation still both pine for each others presence.

"Jee bhar ke dekh lena.''. is such a reminder of this aspect.

Orange relates to 'gut reaction' or our gut instincts, as opposed to the physical reaction of red or the mental reaction of yellow.

That whole 'judaai'' rant stemmed after the saree scene was done.Somewhere both feared this temporary separation and no doubt they parted with tears pooled in their eyes''Din kahin sadiyan na ban jaaye''..Gut insticts kicked in instantly.

Orange offers emotional strength in difficult times. It helps us to bounce back from disappointments and despair, assisting in recovery from grief.

This is the first profound gift by Sameer to Naina after their patch up.Added to it,it has Nana and Nani's blessings in it.Naina would surely miss the three people who are her universe now and whose universe is she.But this gift would always keep her hopes alive through best of times and worst of times.

The colour psychology of orange is optimistic and uplifting, rejuvenating our spirit. In fact orange is optimistic and uplifting.

The gift has already brought her much satisfaction.Had it not been the separation perhaps they would have savoured the moments a little longer.Drenched in blessings, love and colour orange Naina was so optimistic about returning back and staying with him like before. It was Sameer who was unsure of the meeting after the dreaded parting.

Orange brings spontaneity and a positive outlook on life and is a great color to use during tough, keeping us motivated and helping us to look on the bright side of life.

Certainly there would be days of darkness but the orange sunlight instantly lights up the day.Orange is the colour of flames.Hence the passion they have for each other would dive deeper and would keep them going.

With its enthusiasm for life, the color orange relates to adventure and risk-taking, inspiring physical confidence, competition and independence. Those inspired by orange are always on the go!

There are nightmares ahead, days of apocalypses have started looming at far.But these shall pass one day.Its the orange sun light that is perennial not the tempests.

Paul Klee says--'Colour is the place where our brain and Universe meet.''

The choosing of colour "orange'' by Nani for Nanaji and Sameer for Naina itself symbolises that they are the universe of each other. And Universe has no end points.

On a side note-

My take on the "Bangle Scene"

The breaking of bangles is significant enough. The broken dreams of her round, perfect life would hurt her the most. She would be the one aching more in this separation.

She always had a bunch of people to support her.She was one of the many bangles. Not attuned to loneliness. But now she is detached from the bunch and broken. The happiness with the bunch of people would no more stitch her heart or provide any solace.

While Sameer will be the one collecting bangles and stacking them.He would gradually learn to put things right while checking on Naina.Naina would not let him know her pain while both would be feeling the pain and battling their demons.

This is my POV,do share your opinions as well.😳

Love your writing and your take on the scenes 👏
The bangle breaking scene - a moving interpretation of Naina's life ahead, especially this line is so prophetic:

The broken dreams of her round, perfect life would hurt her the most. She would be the one aching more in this separation.

minu...lovely post...i simply marveled at ur comparson of the colour orange with the scenario⭐️
@bold in purple...
definitely naina would be aching more coz her whole universe is sameer now...why do i feel that she will shut out everything around her so that she can be with sameer in this hardship...she knows nanu is sameer's world...and wen that world collapses she will know how lonely sameer is...and not being able to be with him to share his pain...she will just shut herself and create a wall which nobody can penetrate just to feel sameer's pain...rem that parallel of mount abu???
jab tak khud dard ka ehsaas na ho????

in monday's epi...nanu did hint sameer towards taking up the responsibilty of the business...coz thats one way by which sameer can be capable to take up naina's resonsibilty...
the whole collecting bangles and stacking up is pointing towrds sameer becoming capable to take up naina's responsibilty...another parallel drawn towards that monolgue after sameer sang naina card..."rishte ki zimedari uthana...kar kadam humari aur barhana...humari khushiyo ki aur"

and naina not letting sameer know of her pain is something i'm dreading...coz there is no way her eyes can hide it from him...she might put up false pretexes in letters and calls...but one look at her and sameer would know everything... i want to see how sameer reacts to it...that'll be a whole new thing to watch in samaina relationship...and i'm sure it will be a treat⭐️

Excellent write up Minu... 👏
Here you are with another post on symbolism... and as usual I cannot resist... 😊

Color is the food for spirit...

Loved your take on the positivity the saree brought to Naina... Yes, Orange color provides increased contentment and enhanced assurance... And this was given to her by Sameer... She was reassured of his love, of her place in his life...

When Naina confessed her love in Mt. Abu she was wearing Red - a passionate and aggressive shade... But now when they both are equally in love they chose Orange to seal that love - as it has more balanced energy than red and it is full of vitality

Another connotation, I believe, is that Orange represents Autumn where trees shed leaves... They just had their Summer of sweet love... now comes the Autumn of separation which would turn their hearts into barren frozen lands of Winter... But even among the dreary cold of Winter, an Orange flower of love will fight it's way through the frozen lands of separation... Just like the Orange Iceland poppies are the first one to pop up through snow in the freezing temperatures of Iceland indicating the return of joyous Summer...

Keep writing more Minu... I always enjoy reading your thoughts! 😊
