Oh gosh! What a topic... and so many options to choose from... YUDKBH has spoiled us... how can anyone choose one single scene!

For me there's a series...

1) When Naina refused to tie Rakhi to Sameer... The lie she came up with... And Sameer somehow instinctively knew she was lying to escape from tying Rakhi... not for even a single moment he thought that she really thought of him as a bad person. She earned his trust.

2) The bike scene after the slap... He drove the bike as close to her as possible... tried his best to intimidate her... But she didn't budge an inch... Stare for stare... That day Sam met his match! If he can show his anger, she is fearless as well... She earned his respect.

3) When she refused to go to Mt. Abu and said "mere liye dosti se badhkar kuch bhi nai"... It was a second of reaction from Sameer, but his eyes lit up at the thought that this girl had similar thought as him. She earned his approval.

4) When she came running to the balcony on Sam's 2 horn signal... Totally uninterrupted lover's eyelock... She earned his appreciation.

5) When he felt the pain of her being beaten by scale by Kumud teacher... Eyes closed, hands fisted, head shaking in no... She earned his affection.

6) When she saved him from her own father after the scooter incident... Placed him before her own family... She earned his friendship.

7) When she played that chudail prank... just to fulfill his wish of campfire... just to be with him... She earned his admiration.

8) When she got him the respect for his poetry... with love, with affection, with patience she made him open his vulnerable side to the world... she refused to let him hide behind the mask of arrogance... she convinced him to accept his true self... She finally earned his love.

How can we not fall in love with this show...with them... with the feeling of being in love... ❤️

Yaar Kshithi...ye to aisa topic hai jispe I can write 100 pages still it won't be enough...yes the campfire scene is where I too feel he just crossed the line of friendship n love. I would ads a few more where I felt really emotionally connected...

I just wanted to share my favorite Sameer and Naina's scene and my perception on that.

All through the bet phase Sameer has been falling for Naina bit by bit, every moment bringing them closer. He was on the very edge during Mt. Abu trip. He completely fell over the edge during the camp fire night. Of course, this is what I feel.

That day he saw a different Naina. A chudial, a pranskter, a mischievous and fun loving girl, not just a behenji, padhaku girl. He kept looking at her through new eyes. It was as though Naina gave him a new 'set of Naina'. He kept looking for her and waiting for her to join him after changing her dress. He was curious. He wanted to see what else can she cook up, what new facet of her's he will get to see. Of course it was her who came up with the idea of charades. He felt proud, looked at Munna as though saying 'Just look at my girl! She is so smart'.

Then came the deciding moment. She asked him to narrate a poem. How the hell did she knew that! No way he can recite anything he wrote. What if he gets ridiculed for it. It is too personal and intimate. How can he expose himself to the world like that. What the hell is she thinking, asking him to do this stupid stuff.

So, she started narrating. She would show real Sameer to the world, no matter what. Then a pause. It was time to be himself, Sameer thought. No more hiding. He completed the poem. To his astonishment, no one jeered. The clapping of all his schoolmates and teachers made him reach for the clouds. Amidst all of them, even with Munna and Pundit hugging him, he caught her eyes. Those eyes who was brimming with tears, showering him with love, those eyes beaming with pride for him and of him. And then his teachers were praising him. Not once in his life he was accepted so by his peers, not once he felt the praise of a teacher.

He felt so proud of himself. Here he was receiving accolades from his friends, not for some prank, or some mischief. But for something genuine, something personal, something worthy. He exposed himself to the world, the world accepted him with open arms. For a moment he was not alone. And Naina made that possible. That is when I feel he fell in love with her completely and hopelessly. Everyday he fell in love with her bit by bit, and then fell over the edge on that night.

They are all amazing so it is very difficult to choose one but if I am forced to choose, the one you have written about Kshithi and their convo at sunrise. The other one is when he calls her after she saved Nanu and got into trouble for missing the debate. He just wanted to continue chatting with her, his subconscious knew he found his soul mate that night, that he will never be lonely again.

When she refused to go to Mt Abu because Swati was upset with her because friendship meant so much for her. Sameer was impressed and saw her in a new light from then..

The pyar se daant du one also is one of my favorites... see here I go again, I will keep listing them😆

I love each and every scene of theirs...but one of my most fav is Sameer's bday party scene where he gets angry bcoz Naina didnt show up even after all his efforts and he loses every bit of patience left in him when the bet boys tease him abt Naina...and he's ready to destroy the cake but when he sees Naina all his anger melts and he loses his grip on the bat bcoz he's lost in her beauty... actually mesmerised by her beauty...and also he burns his hand while lightening the candle bcoz he's so lost in her.

Iam not even kidding but it's really difficult for me to put one scene over other for samaina .Like I literally love most of their moments likeee most of them .

Still I wud like to mention two perfect scenes for me
One is obviously first meet the whole scene was beautifully done .The whole almost collision the love at first sight moment for Naina and Sameer not in love but still his eyes showed a different kind of curiosity .Their hands the song they kept looking at each other and it was beautiful moment .
Second the debate sequence it's my most favourite sequence from start to end

The way Sameer Naina discussed abt their family and correlate they got closer that day AFTER THAT
he gave her some books to help in debate it was not needed as per bet but he chose to help her
Then them discussing debate stuff like such a normal but powerful scene expected between a couple from school even if they were not a couple then technically
Then Naina started looking at him n he catched her eyes n gestures to focus on debate but again n again she kept staring at him n noticed his smile his face then he also looked at her and smiled genuinely and then again made her focus on debate n told her pointers . The whole background song there made my heart flip and I repeated that scene uncountable times when I watched it . kitabe kahi pe choot chuki hai tujhe main padh ne lagi ... school Ki jagah main Tere Khatir ghar se nikalne lagi ...kabhi jhoot bola nahi tha ab bahane banane lagi kabhi yeh kabhi wo kehke tujhse Milne main ane lagi ...Milne main ane lagi ...yeh undino Ki bat hai ...yeh undino Ki bat hai . ❤️

Ps-notice pandit Munna reactions .pandit was thinking abt the growing chemistry between both n thought bet wise while munna was noticing a change in sameer as well as he is the one who is in love he understood the tinge of affection between samaina there . N was in awe .This scene was done wonderfully well . 👏

1. Since we are talking about Sameer falling in love, I guess I absolutely adored the shot when Sameer spends the night in Naina's room in Mt. Abu...he is like...vaise mujhe aadat nahi ki koi meri itni chinta kare...aur mujhe aadat hai chinta karne ki...to aadat daal lo...

Then they show both Sameer and Naina stealing glances at each other while sleeping...Sameer's cute face contrasted with the guggulupuchu somehow accentuated his innocence...and then the song from MPK...both male n female versions of aate jaate...shayad yahi sach hai maine pyaar kiya with Sameer's eyes in tears...I guess this was when his heart told him what. If he has fallen for her...he did realize it since then but never accepted it consciously...it took Naina's breakdown in hospital to come to terms with this fact.

2. Then my all time favorite...the first "toh"...even though Sameer initiated the friendship for the bet, the entire convo n his toh still makes my heart flutter...I've seen that episode I don't recall how many times...

3. Post this, when Sameer wants to know if Naina got permission for the trip or not...he throws a chit at her asking her to meet him in the corridor...n they play aaja shaam hone aayi in the bg...that was epic for me...if you notice, everytime Naina is about to come to him, his face lights up with a huge smile but then someone or the other keeps interrupting...Sameer looks up as if saying bhagwanji...kyun tadpa rahe ho, he takes off his wrist watch as if seeing how many seconds to go before he meets...n when finally the two come towards each other, Preeti comes n u shd see Sameer's vexed n irritated expression...

4. Sameer's birthday...he's about to smash the cake when Naina enters opening her hair...n.the guy is smitten...yes smitten despite the bhalu dress...the bat falls from his hand while his eyes are fixated upon her. When he's lighting the candle, his eyes refuse to move away from her eyes...n he burns his fingers with the match (u don't burn ur hands for a bet)...n when Naina is striking the match, he covers her hands with his own to protect the flame (again symbolic)...n he keeps stealing glances at her...when he gives her the cake from his own hands n they share plates...n eat...though eyes transfixed on the other...Sameer had started to fall for her...

5. I just cannot ignore the first almost bump...I still get such feels as I see that episode...mind blowing...n.the way he looks back at her before going to chase back Pankaj...the spark had been ignited deep down I tell you...the Universe gave them their first sign...this is something special...

6. The chewing gum incident n more than that, the duppatta tearing incident...

These are just to list a few...many more are close to my heart

I agree Sameer fell for her in that scene. She touched his heart.
But for me he was totally awed in the scene when Naina took him to her room for that night without thinking about all else. He was so touched seeing her concern for him. He fell for her totally.
Mount abu trip was the blooming of love. ❤️
