Yesterday that scene near the swing was amazing. Its not just about romance. its also about balance in a relationship which is very difficult to achieve. Naina has her needs but to get it fulfilled she has to fulfil his needs. She decides to start with his needs. She knows he craves for her affection, attention and care . He is much more demonstrative and vocal about it these days. So, she very sensuously signals him to come to a place where they could be alone and work her way out to get what she wants from him.
Now, Sameer knows what she wants but he has his needs. To fulfil his needs, he will need to give her what she wants. So, he starts with her needs first. Follows her like a love struck boy and tries to test the water by trying to place his hand on hers. But she moves away her hand and he understand; the no touch policy still stays which also means she has not been able to trust him to get that close.
And his needs go down the lane!! Rofl...his need to be in her arms, his need to hold her tight, his need to feel her warmth, his need to drown in her love and what not!!
NOTE: - Naina trusts him like the back of her hand. She is hesitant because it's a taboo to get close to someone you love before marriage. So, it's the upbringing that stops her from it. I am sure there will be some pressing situation where she will break every rule in the world to be in his arms
But he is not someone who looses hope so soon. So he tells her how his friends tease him as he lost his shoes in her love. And that he doesn't care about the shoes because he knows he has lost his mind and heart to her which is much more precious than his shoes.
NOTE : Loosing ones shoe is like loosing your foothold. Which is very true. Sameer is LOST IN HER LOVE. Rofl
He gets close to her , close enough to slightly caress those pretty pink bangles that she was wearing...with the feeling if not for her , atleast the bangles..He then goes on to tell her what he feels how his life has changed with her in his life and wants her to tell why there was this change in his life.
She avoids answering the question saying she doesn't know...so he goes on to say that when she is around time flies and when she isn't its very difficult for him to survive those moments...then he looks at her and says I never thought love was like this...Hoping that these sensuous statements will help her relax around him so that she will allow him to atleast hold her hand.
BGM started playing Sanam Tere Sanam ...from here on .. what mattered is their need to be with each other . Both knew what was going on with in them. I would call this Sameer's victory point because Naina forgot what she was there for. She along with him got drowned in the yearning for each other's warmth. You can see her breathing heavily. As he came and stood near her , she did not move her hand from the swing hoping that he would try to place his hand on hers . They kept looking at each other. Naina, wondering why he is not moving close to her and him looking deep into her making her understand that he will never force her into doing something she regrets. The gentleman in him knew she was not prepared for intimacy at this stage of their love..even if she did , she might regret it later...so he moves away but on her side of the swing and looked at her lovingly... knowing very well that she was lost in his love. He had to wake her up from her trance with his questioning eyes.
The next scene is them on diagonally opposite side of the same swing. Both with their own set of needs . Hers to get the shoes from him and his to get her to say those magical words. Those magical words mean a lot to Sameer because once it was out then he knows he has jumped the first huddle. He is one step closer to his need to gain that warmth that he has been yearning for. He was desperate to get those words out of her to the extant he was ready to trade it with the Grooms shoes...But I am glad Naina said NO!! to the idea. ( Those words should never be traded )
They say ...Love is like a swing , it flies up and makes you breathless, then from the very peak of delight you fall down into the void. The higher you swing the harder to stop.
Here both had their highs when that BGM was played. Then came the fall as they sat on diagonally opposite side of the swing looking away from each other. And again another high with their hope of getting what they want from each other.
❤️ In this game of needs its not Sameer or Naina who won, it's their love and respect for each other that Won. Naina not trading those three magical words and Sameer respecting her decision by not getting up close with her. ❤️

I like this pace of romance , probably because I am from 90s as I was in school during 90s ...so there is this fascination for this show...I feel they are able to live and enjoy every moment of their life . There is no rush because of which they are able to understand each other so well. The way she looked at him and walked ...she knew he would follow...and he understood what she was asking him to do...but in todays world ...I don't think the guy would have understood her ...because that one slight look from Naina to the top floor...gave a clear indication where she was going ...and her looking at him near the gate gave a clear indication she was expecting him with her soon...todays generation would not have turned back and looked ...and would not have noticed that small eye moment of hers to understand she is going to the top floor... 😆 Primarily because the new gen lacks patience ...they are so used to dealing with gadgets than with humans...they want everything fast and have no time to wait for response...because gadgets respond faster and effectively than humans days...Originally posted by: moumita04
That entire scene was magical... and your post not only re-created that magic but added onto it... I did go and watch that scene after reading your post to notice the nuances of eyes you talked about... I am awed... what a talent you have...👏
Yes, Naina would never trade those words for anything... Because she has already said that her entire life resides in those three words... She loves him with her entire heart and trusts him more than herself... What more could any man want from his woman...And Sameer would always respect her and place her honor above his own needs... She is his world and her happiness would be the most important thing for him... What more could any woman want from her man...

so basically the skill to analyse a person emotions and judge the next move is slowly getting lost ... 😆
And that's where this show brings in change for the new gen to see what it is to fall in love at a pace that is new to them... 😳
