The post I made, was not against Naina and Sameer, but against the writing, which glorified the same things like u said as true love.I don't have a problem with Sameer,he was always a wayward child, but such extreme things from a sensible person like Naina is not love but manifestations of nainas romanticized perceptions of love.Originally posted by: Samaina_1990
Hello all...I've been seeing some very harsh posts on the behaviour of Naina n Sameer since yesterday...I do appreciate everyone's POV n don't mean to hurt anyone with this post...but guys, pls realize they are kids...teenagers who are moving out of the child mode into adult mode...it's quite normal for them to do certain impractical things...
Naina has behaved selfishly...yeah I agree...but then isn't it so when you fall in love with someone, your whole life starts revolving around that one person...she didn't tell Swati, even though she knew she had a crush on Sameer too...that was perfectly normal I would say...Swati is very vocal about pyaar vyaar, but for Naina, who was unknown to these emotions is experiencing this for the first time...it is okay for her to keep these feelings to herself n when she n Sameer came closer...still it's okay to begin with...I, myself, didn't tell any of my friends when I fell in love...some people like to talk about their love lives...some don't...I agree that after a stage, she should have told Swati, esp when her heart broke at Kamya's house...but then the narrator herself says, that is one thing she would want to change...😕This maturity to balance friends, family n love will come with time I feel 😊N then Naina keeping Sameer in her room wasn't really selfish...though I would have wanted her to confide in Swati...Swati would have helped for sure...she just wanted to help Sameer...she didn't plan on a romantic night with him in her room 😳For Sameer, yes at points, even I felt irritated at his irresponsible n mean behaviour...but then unless we put ourselves in those shoes, we don't know why people do what they do...and as Sameer n Naina's chachaji said...agar koi aapse alag hai to zaruri nahi ki wo galat hai, wo bhi sahi ho sakta hai...Frankly saying, these lines really touched me...I've been trying to incorporate this in real life too...Sau baaton ki ek baat...yaar don't be so criticalEnjoy the show!!! Sab characters ache hain...n sabka kuch na kuch matlab hai ki story aage kaise chalti hai...😃

There is nothing wrong in glorifying true love, but what Naina s feeling is not that.Since it's a show it will be called as true love.True love isuch deeper and intense,it doesn't happen just like dat.Hiw much do they know each other. What has Sameer done for her to b so enamoured of him.Originally posted by: Samaina_1990
Dear...I did not mean to highlight your post...I'm sorry if you felt so...I've just been reading so many posts like this since yesterday, I thought we are getting too critical here...we think just because Naina is intelligent, she cannot make mistakes or do foolish things- that was not the case...she's innocent at heart- that is a quality very very few people have these days...what is wrong in glorifying true love...it's a beautiful feeling 😳...yes burning the hand was not right- I feel so myself n I would have wanted to see Sameer rebuke her for it...but still I would say Naina is really influenced by the bollywood flicks, when hero n heroine meet, n everything falls in place...n the ideas of Romeo n Juliet (it is still one of the most popular love stories all over the world 😊) Everyone has the right to make mistakes- being the topper doesn't make you sane in love- I feel Sameer here is more sensible than Naina

And TBH at the risk of commuting the blasphemy of criticising shakespeare I feel Romeo and Juliet is overrated

I think it's our personal opinion...Naina has seen different shades of Sameer n got to know him better than anyone else...so I do think it is true love- they have an emotional connection. Again, if you do not like Romeo n Juliet, that's your POV. I am really fond of it. I think it's important to understand Naina's perspective here to be able to judge her.
