A boring weekend without YUDKBH🤔...the addiction of the show is so high that I start re-watching the past episodes of the show...
And I notice something (which I had noticed earlier also) are the GOLD SPOT bottles seen in the canteen of their school...and it takes me back to the days when I and many of us relished having a GOLD SPOT, though we were not allowed to have it frequently, but once in a while and it was like a treat for us...
Like Naina said in one of the episodes about Cream-Biscuits- "Un dino yeh cream-biscuits/ Gold spot humare liye kisi celebration se kum nahi the, un dino humein yeh chhote packet ki khushiyan itni badi lagti thi, uske saamne aaj tak ki kamai daulat bhi kuchh nahi"
Other than Gold spot and cream biscuits there were also some other products shown in YUDKBH...
So I thought why not on a boring weekend let's take you all down the memory lane and put some pictures of things we grew up eating...if you have more to share feel free to comment and add pictures:
1. My Favorite Amul Chocolate (Gifted by Sameer to Naina in some episode I guess)
2. Parle Rola-Cola..cause we were not allowed to drink Coca-cola frequently
3. For reasons unknown it was called as Pepsi/ Pepsi-Cola
4. People chewing this were called 'cool' like Sameer
5. Boom Boom Boomer
6. Gold Spot
7. Before the market was taken by Lays...there were Uncles selling some really yummy Chipps
8. I love you Rasna!
9. And this has cleared our hunger pangs in sickness and in health since 90s
