Part 1
Shefali asks Pralay to say 'I love Cricket'. He says 'kirket'. Preeti says 'cricket'. Tayji comes and asks Shefali if she has any shame since she plays cricket with boys. Shefali says girls can read, play, & play cricket too. Tayji repeats and corrects herself saying dont confuse me. Naina comes and Shefali diverts Tayjis attention from noticing Naina has a ball of wool. Shefali says there is a girls team in India. Tayji refuses to believe. She asks Bela who says no idea, just came from market. Arjun comes asking for his bat. Tayji asks Arjun if there is a girls team. He says yes. Shefali says i want to be part of the womens team and Arjun will coach me.Tayji is shocked. Shefali says she will pay Arjun fees to coach her. Naina agrees saying this will increase Arjuns pocket money. Tayji fumes on Naina and tells Shefali that she is trying to impose herself on them after earning from them? No way. Arjun says not going to coach anyone. Rakesh asks Arjun what is wrong in coaching . Rakesh says Arjun will coach you only if you pay advance. Shefali agrees. Rakesh orders Arjun to coach Shefali saying paying advance will make you serious about the game.
Narrator- That day coz of dad, the first inning began between Arjun and Shefali. And in my inning with Sameer, i was about to start knitting. People wash clothes in bathroom and i was knitting a sweater. Only 2 days left to go to Mt. Abu and i was busy knitting. But this song gave me courage 'Zindagi Har Kadam Ek Nayi Jung Hai'.
While knitting Naina realises she doesnt know Sameer's size.
Narrator- Those days i was also knitting a dream. I knew his fave color but not his size. I recollected how i could have found his size had i hugged him like in the movies. I realised it was a dream to get to hug him and i blamed Swatis filmy brains for this .
Next day Naina comes to school. She notices Sameer standing with his back to her. She walks upto him and tries to measure his size with her hand. BG - Kisi ka dil yahan nache nache. Sameer turns and finds Naina with her hands around his neck. Sameer asks wanna strangle me? Naina says hi. Sameer says, say hi with Hand, not hands. His friends tease them saying playing thappo? Naina sits on her seat and Sameer comes and falls in front of Naina. Eyelocks. Swati clears her throat. Sameer rushes as his friends tease him. Naina takes out a measuring tape. Swati asks stitching? Naina no.. knitting. Knitting a sweater for Sameer but dunno his size. Swati says take his shirt. Naina is shocked and says not before marriage. Swati says dun think so ahead. Just get a shirt of his for measurement.
During break, Sameer is playing kabbadi. Swati takes Naina to the playground. She makes Naina give her shoes. Swati coats Nainas shoes with mud. She asks Naina to run holding her shoes in her hand and chases her. Naina runs towards Sameer. She runs into Sameer and ruins his shirt. She apologizes to Sameer. He says its ok. Sports teacher asks the girls what they are doing at the kabbadi practise? Sameers friends say, here to play kabbadi. Swati apologizes. Sports teacher asks Sameer to go change in the sports room. Sameer goes to change. He comes out holding his soiled shirt. Naina offers to wash his shirt as she ruined it. Sameer agrees. Naina is delighted.
Narrator- That time i ran happily holding Sameers shirt like it was Aladdins lamp. That shirt was more dear to me than my own life.
At home Naina is dancing around holding and then wearing Sameers shirt. She starts to knit. At night, Naina runs from dining table. Preeti wonders what she is upto. Naina is busy knitting night and day.
Narrator- Had to apply lot of brains to knitting the sweater. More than i applied to understand maths. Had only 2 days. Preeti, Pooja and Bela wonder what is up with Naina. Why she is locked inside the bathroom. Preeti knocks saying ate chole, come out. Naina does and Preeti asks her what she is upto and throws the ball of wool aside.
Part 2
The ball of wool rolls and falls near Tayji but fortunately, Pooja and Bela are knitting too. Naina bends to pick up the ball of wool and greets Tayji. Tayji says got you permission to go to Mt. Abu so your sanskar have woken up. Great. She says look at Pooja and Bela, so busy with work. No time to worship God in the morning. She asks for some supplies and tells Bela to make tea. She leaves. Naina heaves a sigh of relief. Right then Dhobi comes and says got clothes. Bela asks Naina to collect them. He counts as he is giving the clothes back. He picks up Sameers shirt. Bela notices and asks who does it belong to? Naina is quiet.
At school, Sameer is playing cricket with his friends and breaks the headlight of Rakesh's scooter. His friends worry that now they are in soup. Rakesh will beat them up. Sameer tries to reassure them.
Naina says dunno whose it is. Bela says this cant be of your uncle. Naina reasons that maybe the clothes got mixed up. Bela warns Dhobi that dare any of their clothes are lost. Naina asks her to relax. She offers to go collect their clothes. Dhobi reassures saying the doesnt make mistake. Preeti comes and asks for breakfast. Bela leaves. Naina asks Dhobi to leave for now and takes Sameer's shirt from him.
Narrator - I was newly in love and making mistakes in new love. How much can i hide? Sameers pics, gifts, shampoo,and shirt. What all will i hide? But that day i smartly managed to save myself. My brain that was so good with studies, was now getting sharper in the games of love too.
Part 3
Naina is looking at her school bag and finds Preeti standing holding a sweater. She asks her what is this? Naina stammers saying sweater. Preeti asks for whom? Naina freezes.
At school, Sameer and his team mates are standing near Rakesh's scooter and they tell him he created this mess, he better handle this. Sameers friends say, they better leave before Rakesh blind them. They turn to leave and run into Rakesh. Rakesh fumes on Sameer and slaps him. The trio realize they were day dreaming. Sameer's friend worry that the man who can come in our dream and slap us, he can do anything. Sameer tells them nothing will happen. They did nothing wrong and no one saw them. They better leave. Their sports teacher tells them not to play near the parking, if Rakesh's scooter is damaged then he will create a mess. Sameer says we werent playing, just passing by. Their teacher asks the trio to go to class. Sameer's friends worry that now their teacher saw them. Sameer worries what will Naina feel? His friends say all this happens. Sameer says this scooter is like a family member for them. Hope Naina doesnt get mad at me and doesnt refuse to come to Mt. Abu.
Precap -- All kids are in the school bus and on way to Mt. Abu. BG - Ayo Ayo gile le. Sameer's friend are dancing. Sameer takes off his goggles & he and Naina exchange eyelocks. Sameer and Naina smile at each other. Sameer thinks doing all this to win the bet.
