Cause they want Preeti to study and do well in her exams. She was talking of only needing 30 marks to pass. So now she needs to slog. Naina on the other hand needs the break.

Also from a plot perspective I guess if Naina is going to realize the bet... then Preeti should be away from her so that no one would know about it back home.
