Yes, even I was thinking the same. They probably dont want anyone in Naina's family to know about Naina's love for Sameer. It was fairly evident in the bike-cycle scene where Preeti saw tashan wali expressions😆 on both Sameer and Naina when they were clearly smiling and blushing at each other 😳
Naina has been blabbering Sameer's name unknowingly in front of Preeti so many times and she has ignored it all the time.
But, Preeti would have been such an awesome person for Naina to share everything. I would have loved for her to share love, sadness, happiness everything with Preeti. It so nice to have someone like that at home when things get tough.
