From today's episode (Nov 7th Episode), it is clear that Naina did not ultimately get any chance to be Juliet.
We all were hoping for a twist and wishing to see Naina be the Juliet at the last moment, but that's not going to happen.

Makers might feel its something different, but it is not.

Romeo Juliet play could have been done so nicely. It had huge potential for comedy, romance and great episodes (minimum two) and lots of entertainment.

But the entire Romeo Juliet track was boring after all.

What do all forumwasi feel regarding it? I am curious to know.

Only because Naina and Sameer are not Juliet and Romeo, that does not mean its boring. This track is funny and sweet. It is quite real and not like love stories where everything falls into place and leads end up together.

This track is still nice and sweet and unexpected

Hi Kankabhor,

I respect your views, but I feel this entire Romeo Juliet Track could have been played much better. I agree that the serial is very realistic, but just for the sake of being real, avoiding classical Romeo Juliet play with the main protagonists, with lots of scope for creating some great comedy as well as romantic moments.

If I see the entire Romeo Juliet track then it can be wrapped in 2 points - Sameer wanting to move away from boring Naina and Munna worrying for Swati (He was really funny).

As for Naina and Sameer, I am not clear what the makers were trying to show.

I kind of liked the way this whole track has played out. I never wanted Naina to be Juliet after Swati got the role. Her becoming Juliet would have been so cliche.
Naina's feelings for Sameer are stronger than ever. She is not being fearful in expressing them also now. I never expected Naina would call up Sameer and tell him not to the final part ! that itself for me was such a bold move from Naina.

As far as Sameer, he is closer to winning his bet than ever according to him. He now knows the state of Naina's mind. He joined the play only so he could be patao and spend time with Naina when she was not talking to him. Once she became his friend now he wants to be away from her.

The play has brought out Naina's feelings more in the open. It has given a chance to Sameer to make progress towards his goal. Their story is moving.

Munna also will somewhere understand Naina better probably. He knows both sides. Maybe the play will make him how wrong it is for them to play with Naina's feelings.

The Munna point makes sense. Maybe one genuine outcome of the Romeo Juliet Track.

Totally agree with all of this. Somehow, I also never really cared if Naina became Juliet. And I didn't really care to see the actual play in the show either, because that would have been too typical. It was more fun to see Naina's desperation to become Juliet and be close to Sameer. It was a big thing for her to call up Sameer at night and ask him not to kiss Swati. Her feelings for him have gotten stronger, and this was only possible because she wasn't Juliet. Also, would like to add that something substantial needs to happen soon regarding the whole bet thing, whether it's Naina finding out about it, or revealing the fact that Arjun stole the papers. They shouldn't drag it for too long.

I know they were good chances of turning this play into a huge hit track but then im happy cos the makers took a realistic approach...Naina rejecting the role confidently for the first time was a lesson in many ways..not necessary that life offers u the second chance...Tell me how easy it is to fall lucky again n again in reality !..So in a way its true that what we desire n crave may not come to us easily and if its in our destiny we will surely be blessed with it...!
Smetimes we ned to strive much harder to achieve it...n what is the value of love that can be achieved so easily with no obstacles ...😆

The real outcome of this play was to display NAINAS feelings for Sam n thats out...So the purpose of this track is served...where Sam is fully aware now n will take advantage of this to win his bet...!

This track has been there since the beginning of the show...and with this many things came into light... Naina and her feelings for him...so strong...she is ready to go against everyone for him including her best friend...
Sameer as a person is shown to be a good friend but kind of a heartless person when it comes to the bet...so it has been an important part of the show...

Regarding Naina not being Juliet...I'm glad they didn't show the scenes between Swati and sameer...otherwise we would have gone mad to see them😆

I'm glad this track is about to end😃
