Waise was watching bbkd last week.

Heyy V! lol haan ji main yahaan...was here in the early weeks of the show too but then kinda lost interest in b/w with overdose of Naina ke mooning waale 90s song sequences...lol now the pace seems to have improved a bit so here I am :)

Show has a sweet slice of life 90s nostalgia otherwise that's a welcome change from other stuff on TV :)

Me too wallowing in BBKD nostalgia since the past few days😆😆 If only that one had been given a chance by Sony too...ah well.

Nice post 👏

Loved to read your post and to feel those emotions once again which she went through...actually Sameer is becoming heartless with every passing day

Thanks! :)

Re: Sameer...lol more than heartless, he's a typical teenage boy...shallow, vain and petty in many ways...I kinda like that the writers are keeping that realism rather than making him a cliched "bad boy turned lovesick puppy" overnight...he's an aimless kid right now who has no real reason to think kindly of Naina after all that she put him through in the early days...but let's not forget that before all this happened, he was naturally kind to Naina without any vested interest (like the way he helped her with the chain of her cycle etc.)..which shows that he's a good person at heart who right now has become consumed by his lame bet as a way of getting back at Naina.

It's realistic cuz no regular boy would fall in love with Naina's OTT champu ways so easily...anyone would be weirded out as a first reaction, least of all the so called heartthrob of the school😆.

Invariably though this bet is helping him interact with Naina and learn her personality as a whole beyond her OTT padhaaku chamchi ways...it's a subconscious thing at this point.

Thanks!

LOL yes, Munna and Pandit are fantastic...they get the best one liners and the actors playing them have really good comic timing😆

The comedy is mostly situational and I'm enjoying that😆

Good to see you after Long AY😃🤗

There is so much innocence in this show, I'm loving it!
Sameer is an idiot (an understatement) at the moment, although their scenes are really sweet and innocent!!

I was feeling bad for her, bechari, standing outside the class and when everybody laughs at her. She was looking so cute though!!

I'm really looking forward to see how they show him fall for her.

Heyy Sara!🤗

Long time indeed! Didn't know you were watching this one too :)

LOL yes Sameer is an idiot and so is Naina IMO...lol but the self-deprecating amusement in the voiceovers makes it all sweet...word about the innocence in the show capturing a different era very aptly :)

Yes, Naina was oddly adorable even in her helpless and misguided love for Sameer making her so desperate to get a role back in the play...it was a sweetly executed bit :)

I have to say, Swati is a pretty clueless one too...lol so quick to throw Naina under the bus given half a chance😆

Being the 90s kid, was definitely the reason I started watching the show. But yeah like you said the story did stagnate in between. And the change in voiceover didn't help to keep me glued to the show. Thank goodness Sadia is back!!! Can't believe a voiceover can make so much of a difference at least in my case.
Last two weeks has been good. Good dialogues. Story is paced well now. Perfect blend of comedy .Pandit n Munna are doing a fab job.

Somewhere I love seeing the 90s inanimate objects . Be it gold spot ka bottle, fountain pen, Walkmans, postcards, plastic mein chooosne Wala Pepsi etc etc. Simple si story just how I usually like it.

@bbkd- arre wah Tum bhi. I started off with your aye sinamika vm only. Still has that charm.damn Sony TV.. such potential it had .I hope Sony doesn't pull this off air like it did for Bbkd for trp sake.

Nice to see others from the BBKD forum here - still miss Abhishek and Meera, but I'm glad something like YUDKBH came along. For a 90's kid, I think it was a given that I would like this show, what with all the references from that time, songs, etc. I agree that the pace has recently improved, but quite frankly, even when it was slow, I was still invested in it, as there really is nothing much else that is appealing to me on TV right now.

Anyway, yes I agree on the vulnerability of Naina. She is the heart of the show and a totally relatable character for many of us. When I compare her to the other inane female characters on TV, she is just so much more believable, likeable, and well-written. The narration in the background contributes a lot to that. Hope this show is given a chance, as I am already starting to remember what happened to BBKD at right around this time. 😕
