I couldn't help but aww today in the play rehearsals scene when Naina so badly wanted to be in the play that she pretty much begged for a role, any role.
All these weeks of playing slow motion eyelocks, 90s bg scores, pencil tap-tap games with Sameer showed a different side of her building crush on him.
Today was something else...the sheer helplessness in her as she couldn't bring herself to leave even after the teacher told her there was no role left...the fact that she was just hanging around right outside the door of the room made your heart go out to her...the vulnerability and innocence of that first love.
Sameer and his gang were busy laughing at her state, yet she was oblivious to it all, just wanted any excuse to be near him...what a leap for Naina from being content in merely staring after Sameer all over the school to now being so obvious in just wanting to be near him...lol and clearly Sameer was enjoying the attention.

This entire story is more a comedy of errors than a love story😆...Naina continues to misread any gesture of Sameer as him caring for her and Sameer doth protest too much I say about how "pakaau" Naina is but never leaves a chance to bring up her name even without being asked...and all his attempts to woo her mainly end up backfiring on him😆.
