Agreed! I think the heartbreak later on would only make her stronger and i saw her new side today, she is quite bold in love, contrary to what i expected.

even i have not expected this side of naina...she is not thinking about her self respect.. pyar me aisa hota hai kya ...poor girl,do not know how many more insults she has to bear 😭

Can't agree more with you!
Naina's character is indeed well developed. There's no Mary Sue in there. We have seen her strengths and weakness. She doesn't feel shy apologizing for her faults.

Now as to why we relate to her.
She comes from a middle class family which was the case in 90s. We understand the quirks of it.

She is family oriented and goes extra mile for them.

She has lost her loved one(mother) and her father's love is almost non existent, yet she finds strength in her studies and keeps moving forward.

She is also insecure and innocent.

And above all, even though she is in love with Sameer she is making him earn her unlike other girls who openly flirt with him.

Kudos to both the script writer and Ashi Singh for giving us such a wonderful character!
Also, a big shout to Randeep for doing justice to Sameer's character.

liked this line very much ❤️
