I thought to write this today because today ...we got to know the other side of naina...

We all know the one side of naina... studious, truthful, sincere and ofcourse Sanskari... also we got to see the romantic side of her too...

But today... we saw another naina... who is helpless, confused and bechari too...

Today even though it is against her self respect... she asked for chance twice...she wanted to become juliet at any cost...or any other was also okey for her...

Here my title becomes apt...

Becoz a character becomes well written when we show in it the real emotions of human beings and their nature...

And here they have shown it very well...

If naina without even asking again just if she sacrificed her role for her friend... she would be no less than the other serial heroines...who do all kind of sacrifices even for enemies...

Today naina behaved so naturally...showing the human nature...also we came to know that she don't sacrifice everything for whomever...just like that...its our human nature that we don't give up or sacrifice things so easily...

As far as I think... in almost every show...everyone just starts hating the heroine for their overly sacrificing nature , thinking about everyone unless herself and so on...

So naina as a character stands apart from all those female leads of Indian television...

Naina as a character is so naturally written that many can see themselves in her... her daydreaming... her fear of family... her interest in studies... all those things are so relatable

I think that's the reason every person can connect to her so easily...

Also I noticed that in almost every social media site... I haven't seen hatred for her character...she is liked by almost everyone... that's the reason none are able to see anyone else opposite sameer other than naina...it's the love people has for naina...that makes even us jealous...also almost everyone are okey with naina having someone who can make him jealous...

Also it is really admirable that even after 2 months we didn't find any flaws in naina...expect the question paper issue...I am sure she will definitely bring it out even though it's little late...

All these chotu chotu things... I am totally loving this naina very much...

Hope they keep her character the same way and don't spoil it...fingers crossed...

She has lost her mother so young
Her dad just don't care for her...
Still she is on her own merit...best student
...she is a kind soul...she is gonna be a very strong woman too...i love her...

Agreed! I think the heartbreak later on would only make her stronger and i saw her new side today, she is quite bold in love, contrary to what i expected.

You are absolutely right - nice observation! 😊

I actually did not think they would show Naina trying to get the Juliet part back. I assumed she would just accept Swati as Juliet and not say anything at all. So glad to see that she went back and tried as best as she could - yes, it showed her as helpless and desperate, but it was definitely REAL. I am also sick to death of all the sacrificing female characters we see on TV today, it's so annoying and fake. Most people are not like this in real life. The fact that Naina went after what she wanted was a nice touch by the creatives. She is definitely a very well-written, believable character!

Can't agree more with you!
Naina's character is indeed well developed. There's no Mary Sue in there. We have seen her strengths and weakness. She doesn't feel shy apologizing for her faults.

Now as to why we relate to her.
She comes from a middle class family which was the case in 90s. We understand the quirks of it.

She is family oriented and goes extra mile for them.

She has lost her loved one(mother) and her father's love is almost non existent, yet she finds strength in her studies and keeps moving forward.

She is also insecure and innocent.

And above all, even though she is in love with Sameer she is making him earn her unlike other girls who openly flirt with him.

Kudos to both the script writer and Ashi Singh for giving us such a wonderful character!
Also, a big shout to Randeep for doing justice to Sameer's character.
