Its called plot convenience. Necessary amnesia to have the srory move forward and also since plot points depend on it. Though I think this issue won't be touched upon maybe and the bet issue will get highlighted.

@sweet_tehs and @ATH_KTM_543 Both of you have got some valid points regarding this topic.I dont mind if the creatives have chosen a different way and a later time to reveal Arjun's truth but I expect a little guilt from Naina's side atleast once in a while during certain situations like sweet_tehs mentioned.The way everyone emphasize on Naina's truthfulness every now and then,I expected a li'l bit of guilt/sadness on Naina's face when Rakesh told her to tie rakhi to her "Head Boy Arjun Bhaiyya"
