I was disappointed with Sameer today
The way he lost the match...I never expected him to lose this way...I agree he was disappointed to see his Mom going but he could gather and compose himself once again and atleast see the ball...he just didn't concentrate and got bowled over.. He had a point to prove to his Father but the way he just gave up...just shows that he isn't determined towards his goals...I just hope he develops a strong friendship with Naina and she helps him in becoming a better person.😳

I know you all may not agree with me...but this is just my POV...I would have liked to see him losing in a more respectable way...please share your views everyone😊

samir wanted to prove his point only to his mom .. no one else, not the world, and when she was walking out, winning lost its meaning to him.

he was not proving point to his step dad, all that matters is his mom.

Everytime she shoves love on him, he will be so happy, but then she does something which breaks him again.

He actually didn't loose, from where I see, winning never mattered, if she didn't see it, so he gave up ..

he is 16-17 year old teenager, who has a step dad, even teen's of today will have issue with step dad, and this is in 90's .. so we have to see the psychology of the boy here.

And additionally, we do not know the back story of his parents, may be he does miss his dad a lot.

He is teenager who is lost due lack of parental care and attention.

Naina is going to fill that gap for him, that is when he will develop feelings for Naina.

While I felt really bad seeing Sameer loose but I felt worse seeing how he lost. It's not the loosing pain but the pain of seeing the one you're playing for walking off (but not even mentioning it to her). It was the matter of one bloody ball. Couldn't both of them wait?
He could only remember assuring his mom (who is walking off) that he will hit the winning six which she will witness.
While there was a reason for him to win ... her walking off really broke him within. He couldn't even her the commentators or his friend screaming.

I feel Sameer lost all the hopes of being happy even if he would've won. Regarding him not being determined, it depends. If he still works hard in the exam (and not cheat considering his friend's plan) it will show that he is very much determined. Else... he gave up his goal because he lost the match and had no hopes of studying and clearing by a good margin.
But yeah, considering his father's challenge he will study but get trapped under the falsely copying case.

I felt his friend should've stopped the ball from being bowled. 😆

I agree with all your points...but I personally feel that if he could have managed to hit a six on the last ball...he could have quietened his step father's never ending taunts...his Mom would have actually been proud of him...all of us are waiting for that day ...hope it comes soon😃

His pain was just unimaginable...but still i would say...i was quite disappointed...but I do respect your POV too...good to read your points as well😊

Regarding the second chance, I just hope Naina could help him more now with studies and he does well...but ...but...his friends can't do any good for his confidence...rather they keep on playing pranks and he gets into troubles

What I wonder is...whether there was any umpire? Arjun bowled when he was not ready😲
Is this allowed😉
I'm sure agar koi umpire hota to aisa nahi hota😃

Exactly.. !!!
He lost due to his Mom's leaving him in the midst of his achieving goal..
He lost due to his faith in Naina.,,, as no one has the ability to teach him as she did...

His loss is not his mistake.. i rather found him a victim of circumstances...

The whole world seems blur and falls into void if all the efforts you put to only show a person doesn't work out. 😭 I too never expected him to lose this way.I may sound different even weird but I felt a mythological connection here.Arjun bowled when Sameer was not ready to bat just like in Mahabharata. As there Karna, the invincible warrior lost only because he was involved in his only misery and he was not ready with his weapon when Arjuna fired the life-taking weapon at him.I think they wanted to show how determination first needs concentration and complete focus.Well that's my POV. 😊
