Part 1
Match is ongoing...Arjun hits the 5th ball of the over for a boundary. The last ball of the over, Arjun hits the ball up in the sky and Sameer runs to catch it...he comes underneath the ball but the ball slips and he fells down and gets injured. Naina sees this and wants to run to Sameer to help him out...but sees her father and stops. Voiceover says that its hurts so much when your loved ones get hurt...hope her father comes and says...Ja Naina jaa...jee le apni zindagi...but it wasn't possible.
Sameer is helped by his friends and they take him to the hospital. Naina feels that he got hurt just because he didn't take that dahi shakkar from her. Arjun starts to go towards Sameer but his father calls him and assures him that he would win the match as Sameer would never be able to make 18 runs in an over. Naina prays with folded hands and thinks that its very important for Sameer to win as he has worked hard for this. No matter who wins but he should get a chance to try. If he plays the match, she promises God that she won't see the match and would pray for him.
In the hospital, Sameer's parents come and his Mom asks his friends for his wellbeing. His father says Sameer does not have the guts to face any challenge and that he is faking his injuries to gain his Mom's sympathy. Sameer overhears all this and tells his Mom that he is fine and that he would win this match...if he can't fulfil all her dreams, atleast he could try this one. He asks his Mom whether she wants to see him hitting the winning six...she smiles in a yes and he promises that he would.
In playground, Sameer is limping and sits on the ground to wear his pads. Naina comes to him and song plays in background...'Tu rootha to main ro dungi sanam...' Sameer trying to get up...fells down and she tries to lend her hand to him but can't...he gets up himself with difficulty. Naina asks about his wellbeing, he is upset with her as he feels she is the one responsible for his troubles as she doesn't have the guts to speak in front of her father. Naina wants him to eat dahi shakkar but he refuses as he thinks that she might complaint to her father that he won because of her dahi shakkar and left from there.
The match restarts...first ball Sameer hits for a six and everyone claps for him. Naina is sitting in class as she is fulfilling her promise that she won't see the match. Next ball...Sameer takes one run limping...Arjun's father shouts for his runout when he slips while taking the second run...but he completes it. The third ball is missed by Sameer and the 4th one hits on his shoulder...Naina is upset in the class. 5th ball Sameer hits for a boundary and now the last ball...Sameer's father is informed by someone and he asks Vishakha to come with him as Rohan is injured. She wants to wait for the last ball but on his insistence, starts to leave from there. Sameer saw his Mom leaving and anxiously kept on looking towards her. Arjun bowls the last ball and he isn't even seeing towards it...his friend keeps on shouting at the other end but he is bowled...Arjun wins the match and everyone claps for him. Naina comes there and Arjun asks her whether she is happy...she says yes sadly looking towards Sameer as if she had to answer a tough multiple choice question.
Part 2
Sameer is angry with himself and his father is abusing him that he isn't good for anything and they both should rather leave from there and that Rohan is fine and he got the tickets for Nainital. Nanu tells them to be his support at this time and not blame him for losing as that would break his heart. Sameer comes there and tells them to go as he can't be of any good to anyone. His father tells him that he isn't able to accept his defeat and is blaming them now. Sameer says that his Mom wanted him to lose that's why left just before the last ball and also that he has a second chance now...they should wait to see him become the head boy till the entire process is over. They both agree to stay back on his insistence and he accepts it as his challenge once again. His friends see all this and feel that if he loses, his father would not spare him and they should try to help him. They decide to steal the question paper from the library...and for that they need the keys to the library...they leave for Naina's home.
Part 3
Taiji is carrying out her prayers and Naina comes to call her to watch Chitrahaar which was about to start. She leaves and Naina prays to God to show some miraculous powers so that Sameer becomes the head boy. Taiji comes there and asks her what she was asking God for? She tells her that she was praying for good luck in exams...Taiji tells her to pray for a nice husband and not for studies and she herself prays for a suitable husband for her. when she leaves Naina tells God that her Taiji prayers are cancelled and that he should listen to her prayers only. She picks up Prasad for Arjun and wished she could take some for Sameer also.
Sameer's friends come to Naina's house, her father opens the door and asks them the reason for the to come. They tell him that they want to return some books and that they are following his advice of doing everything there and then only...thats why they were here at odd time. He goes frustrated to get his register while they start searching for the keys in drawers. They see a key stand and see many keys hanging there. They are confused of which is the right key...Tainji comes there and asks them about their identity and why they have come. They tell them about the books and she asks them to keep standing there and she leaves after this. Munna tries to pick up the key ring which they both somehow randomly decide to pick...but suddenly Naina comes and the key ring fells down. Naina is surprised to see them and the key.
Precap
Principal announcing that Arjun has topped in the exam with 84 marks out of 100 and is about to announce Sameer's marks. Naina is anxiously waiting to hear his marks...
