...For me...i knew a couple ...who had not even started dating..but when the elders of both household got wind of it...they told that raakhi baandh stuff to girl... THAT BIT WAS so scarily true...t was traumatic for the guy..girl was plain angry thats all...

gosh these things actually happened in our days...wierd times we lived in..as compared to "whats the big deal" mouthing kids that exist tday..like naina perfectly describes:)

Chalo sab bataao apni nineties ki memories..n anything frm the show thats close to ur heart..??

I remember the punishsments that my mom used to give me when I didnt studied or skipped school
Although I cried like anything, but never felt like the kids of today that my parents were cruel

I remember the days when any girl spotted with a boy was taken as a crime committed by that girl and led to a train of dialogues and some punishment of course😆...My Mom used to narrate them to me...😆
I miss those small movie theatres that were there at that time...I happened to go there few times...

I was 90's kid not teen ..
I miss landline phones, still don't allow dad to disconnect it ...
Movie outings in small theaters .. multiples are no comparison to that.. the tension of not getting ticket .. miss that :)
my city was a small one back then .. now it is on par with metros .. i.e bangalore .. miss old bangalore. the greenary..
the dish prepared at neighbors house was first tasted by me .. being the youngest, now I don't know who is my neighbor,..

in mid-90's saw an ATM for the first time, dad used to park car in front of ATM.. 5 km away from home .. i used to be so excited to see how it works .. now we will stuck in jam near that place for hrs .. yes of course, we can withdraw cash in b/w jam even now ..

so many things .. especially, Bangalore, I think I miss my city itself ... it was a era of transformation ... ge8 we were part of it in some way ..

1)well what i really liked about the show is that heroine is not skinny
i mean yeah in today's age shows girls are shown very skinny like some model so here they have maintained that simplicity is shown in a good way
I miss those times no pressure of eating right,in fact enjoy life
yes i do find her elder chachi irritating at times but i think she will handle her if sameer reciprocates her love
pyaar takat de deta hai😉

2)and seriously as much as i love that today but i have to agree no gadgets -like seriously
no phones,no group chats,no invited gossips and pangas where one has to prove that only their opinion is right
Yes sometimes i do feel naina should be a little assertive but still i like it that inspite of people are against her like her chachi full time scolding her and all still she SELECTS to remain happy😊
thappad kha lo par apne man ki suno rather than keep arguing and spoil your mental peace😆
