Hefty amount doesn't matter as money isn't an issue anymore. Had it been 10 to 11 years ago, then it definitely was. But after being paid hefty amount for 6 long years doing YHM, they won't be bothered about money now. And, 150 episodes, you never know! YHM was supposed to be 150 episode and it ran for 6 long years ...for almost 1900 episodes. So, EK might extend this one too if it gets good ratings. Even if it is a weekend show, twice in a week...it can go on 1.5 years for 150 episodes even and there is always room for extensions in future! In either way, it's a 5 days-a-week 10-12 hours commitment for years with hefty payment. Whereas, in case OTT, payment is much less but you get to do a web series in 8-10 months and the remaining 3 months for family vacations. Even in these 8-10 months, 3-4 months are required for extensive shooting -this is the time consuming laborious part and the other 3-4 months are for script reading, rehearsal and other non-shooting parts. So, much more family time is available. Plus, they can do commercials, corporate events and promotions easily which is otherwise difficult to do while doing TV without compromising family time. So, yeah, hefty payment isn't an issue.
But there is a weird thing; once you work in a medium for so long, you tend to miss it. I think DT does miss it. The thrill of constantly being on screen, the thrill of constantly being on limelight. Only TV can provide this. So, Who Knows! She might try TV again.
