It's quite long so posting it in two posts.

OS

A lady was watching news in her office and there was only onenews on all channels. At the other side, a girl, just arrived to Delhi fromMumbai, hurriedly entered into the police station and met their lawyer who toldher the whole scenario. Then she went to meet her family in the cell. Shestarted crying seeing them in a very bad state, her mother was crying overtheir fate while her father was trying to console her (Mr Om Prakash Bhalla andMrs Santosh Bhalla) while her both brothers (Raman and Romi) were sitting incorners bowing their heads down. She (Rinki) could see some marks over theirbody like someone beat them, she got emotional. She called them and all lookedat her. Her parents met her, she tried to console them and made them believethat they will be proved innocent soon but their lawyer came and said thateverything is against them, he also told them that opposition lawyer is veryfamous and strong. He was saying when someone came there and said,

L – case ladne se pehle hi har maan li.

R (turning to her) – Mihika? Tum Yaha?

Mihika nodded and looked at Bhallas, she felt bad seeing themin that condition while they couldn’t meet her eyes.

M – Bhot lawyers honge delhi mein but main jis lawyer kojanti hu vo sach ke liye ladna aur use jeetana bhi janti hai. I can bet you shewill definitely take this case and will win it also.

Rinki – You will help us….

M – Rinki, my Appa and my Akka, they always taught me tofight for truth and right people whether they are friends or enemy or thepeople who hurt you the most.

She said looking at Romi who just looked down feeling guilty.She said that her elder sister, one of the best lawyer in Delhi, who alwaysfought for the truth and right and never lose any case in her life, AdvocateIshita Iyer will fight for them. She dialed her number who was watching thenews only.

News reporter – Today’s breaking news “Delhi’s well knownindustrialist family, Bhalla family is behind the bars in the charge ofdomestic violence, murder of their elder daughter-in-law, Shagun and attempt tomurder of younger daughter-in-law, Maya. Mr Om Prakash Bhalla’s elder son, MrRaman Kumar Bhalla is also charged for the attempt to rape of Maya.” Wholedelhi is on roads marching against Bhalla family and seeking justice for boththe sisters. Recently, bhalla’s company went through a huge lose in businessand as they couldn’t pay the bank loans, the bank had already sealed theirmansion, they were living in their old house when this incident took place.Police got a call from Maya. When they reached there, Shagun was died whileMaya was in a very bad condition. Maya told them that they used to always tauntthem about their status and family back ground and since Bhallas having loss inbusiness, they were losing their financial status, they were torturing themmore to bring money from anywhere. She also told how Raman had bad eyes on herfrom a long time and other family members never believed her, Shagun used toprotect her. That day, Bhallas were drunk and were very violent, they weretorturing them, Raman tried to rape her when Shagun tried to save her, hekilled her by strangulating her while she somehow managed to run into a roomand locking it, called police while they were all ready to kill her also as shewas eye witness……

She switched to all channels again and again but everyone wasjust showing one side story, no one was interested to know other side, wholeDelhi had already made them culprits. She received the call and Mihika askedher to take this case for her and prove them innocent. She agreed and went tomeet them to police station to know their side.

Day of first case hearing, the prosecution presented her sideof case and showed all the proofs she had to prove the accusations againstBhallas. Then Ishita started,

I – Your honour, prosecution ne bhot achche se humhe samestory sunai jo hum itne din se TV newspapars mein padh rhe the, jo story shayadaaj Delhi hi nhi India ke almost har insan ki zuban par, yes she showed us someproofs also but main aap sab ke saamne ek nirdosh parivar ki story rakhne jarhi hu, jo I’m sure puri duniya ke liye nayi hogi. So, without wasting ourtime, I’m presenting my first point in front of the court.

She presented some papers in front of the judge who looked ather surprisingly after reading the material.

I – Is case mein jitne bhi aarop Mrs Maya Bhalla ne Bhallafamily par lagaye hai, vo sab unke character par ungli uthate hai. Aaj vo sablog jo Bhalla family ko bhot saalo se jaante hai, unke parivar wale bhi unkeliye stand nhi le rhe hai, only few were ready to give their statement thatthey are not that type of people…….

Prosecution – I’m sorry to interrupt Miss Ishita but they aretheir family so they will take their side only…..

I – Don’t worry prosecution madam, chote mote daav khelnameri fitrat nhi hai, I assure you that you and your client will surely like thesurprises. So your honour, main jinhe court ke saamne lane ja rhi hu vo Bhallafamily ka hi part thi aur jin rishto par Mrs Maya Bhalla ne allegations lagayehai vo unhi logo ke sath unhi rishte mein thi, main bat kar rhi hu, Mr RomiBhalla ki ex-wife, Miss Mihika Iyer ki.

She said making everyone shocked especially Maya. Ishitacalled Mihika in witness box and told her to tell the court about Bhallas asher in-laws. Mihika told in their favor that how much good they were, they werenever money minded, she also told that Raman is a good man, he can't even thinkof doing bad with any girl forget doing with his own brother’s wife.

Prosecution – So Miss Mihika, if they are so good then whydid you left them or they left you. Tell the reason of your divorce.

I – That I will tell the court. Your honor, there was noreason behind their divorce, no differences, no fights, only Maya and Shagun’strap for Mr Raman Bhalla and Romi Bhalla. Both sisters were employee in theiroffice and they were blackmailing them that they had forced themselves on themin drinking state by showing some photos and videos. Mr Raman Bhalla and RomiBhalla were forced to marry them and when they had no other choice, they opteddivorce and got married to Shagun and Maya.

Prosecution – And how do you know that Shagun and Mayaplanned all this, may be they were right….

I (showing some photos to the judge) – This is thescreenshots of the messages sent by Shagun and Maya to blackmail them which MrRaman had saved for future. Shagun and Maya blackmailed them, get married tothem just for their money. They never went to office after marriage, in factthey were just busy in shopping, party, spa, clubs etc. In short, Bhallas kebank balance ko udaya ja rha tha.

Prosecution – Ok, if it is true then also Miss Ishita, it’spast. How will you prove that this time also they are wrong and Bhallas areinnocent? Waqt ke sath vo bhi badal gaye ho and Raman Bhalla ke character kakya sabot dengi aap….

I – Sorry to say prosecution madam, but still you are takingtheir side. Being a woman, aap aankhein bandh karke un par vishvas kar saktipar I bet you, you will regret it soon. And about Raman Bhalla, so uska proofbhi unki ex-wife hai jo aur koi nhi…. Main hu… Ishita Iyer.. Ishita RamanBhalla bhi thi kabhi aur unke character ki guarantee main aaj bhi de sakti huvo bhi poore vishvas ke sath.

She said sternly making the prosecution silent and scaredseeing her confidence while Raman looked at her feeling guilty. Ishita calmedherself down and then again started,

I – I know that this is not enough but what to do, this casenot only put an accusation on Bhalla family but their reputation is also onstake, everyone is looking at them with hate and disgust whether they knew themor not. But now I would be focusing on the so called victims of this case.

Ishita called Maya in witness box and asked who killed Shagunfrom Bhalla family and about the marks on Maya’s hands, she said that Ramankilled her in front of her only and marks formed during Raman tried tomisbehave with her. IShita also asked where Raman was standing to which shesaid that he was facing Shagun.

Ishita called the doctor who did post mortem of the body.

I – Dr, Can you please tell the court about the marks you goton Shagun’s neck?

Dr – Mrs Shagun bhalla ki neck par kisi ke hatho ke nishanhai aur koi nishan nhi hai to unki death kisi ke gala ghotne se hui hai aur unmarks se yeh bhi pata chalta hai ki, vo nishan kisi purush ke nhi balki kisimahila ke honge…

Prosecution – And how can you say that?

Dr – Because there is a difference between a man’s andwoman’s hands. A man’s hands are bigger in size than a woman’s. And we checkedit, vo marks Raman Bhalla ke nhi ho sakte, in fact, unki family mein se kisi kenhi ho sakte, sabke hath bade ya mote hai par marks chote hath wale insan kehai. Aur ha marks ki direction dekh kar yeh bhi clear hai ki, jis insan ne unkagala dabaya tha vo unke peeche khada hoga.

I – Maya ne kaha ki Raman bhalla ne Shagun ki jan li but thiscan’t be possible as doctor said. That means maya jhooth bol rhi hai. Secondproof is call history of Mr Raman Bhalla’s mobile phone. According to the reports,the time around which Shagun died, Raman Bhalla was on a call. Third proof.

She asked the doctor about marks on Maya’s body who told thatafter seeing the marks and their shape and angle, it was clear that they weremade by her only using some metal wire or something like this.

I – Prosecution madam, yeh aapke liye hai. Present mein yehdono sisters kitni badi cheater aur characterless hai uska proof bhi hai.

He presented some photos and videos showing that both of themsold Bhalla company’s details to their rivals and some intimate pictures alsowith them.

I – Mrs Maya Bhalla ka lagaya huye ilzaam, domestic violencefor dowry, molestation… and rape yeh sab jhooth hai. Yeh kaise possible hai kiek taraf Bhallas unhe aiyashi karne ke liye apni mehnat ki kamai de rhe the aurdusri taraf unhi se dowry maang rhe the, Bhalla family ka background hamesha seclear rha hai. Molestation to bhot dur ki bat hai, unke servants ka kehna hai kiShagun aur Maya ko kabhi khud se hi fursat nhi thi, late night tak party karkeghar aana aur subah late tak sona, phirse bahar chale jana, yahi tha unkaschedule, Bhallas aur unke beech kabhi interaction hi nhi hoti thi, bas MrsBhalla kabhi kabhi apne beto ke liye unse bat karne ki koshish karti thi par vodono unse rudely bat karke chale jate. Rape…. Jo insan apne office ki femaleemployees ki safety ke liye best arrangements rakhe vo apne ghar ki izzat par….

She couldn’t complete her sentence feeling disgust. Shecalled Maya and asked her to say the truth on her own now as she is almostexposed. At last, she admitted their crimes from the beginning, how both thesisters wanted to live a luxurious life, they got to know about Raman and Romi,brothers and very naïve, they took job in their office and planned to blackmailthem, nothing happened between them, they got the status by marrying them andthen they were enjoying a luxurious life when some rivals approached them andoffered a big amount to share Bhalla company’s details, they had no idea thatit will lead to a great loss to bhallas and they will be on roads within asmall time period, they asked the help from their rivals saying that they willexpose them but they got shocked when they blackmailed them showing their videoaccepting their deal, that day Maya was very angry with Shagun as it was herdecision to take the deal, she always did what she felt right, she always ruledover Maya, that day she got to know that Shagun had a big debt to pay becauseof which they got a life threat to pay back soon, they had a heated argumentand she strangulated her in anger, Bhallas came hearing the noise but the doorwas locked, she realized that Shagun died, she said that everything is good andsent them back, she thought for some time and finally planned everything, sheherself mixed alcohol in their food, later Bhallas saw Shagun died and she mademarks on her hands and called police..

The court gave its verdict and Bhallas were declared innocentwhile Maya was punished.

Bhallas were standing outside with Mihika when Ishita came and informed them that all the formalities had completed and now they can go to their house. She was going when she heard,

Rinki (slowly)- aapki fees??

Ishita calmed herself down and then looked at her.

I - It will be better if you will not think about it. Take your family. Mihika, come.

Saying she was going when she found Bhallas and Mihika were thinking something.

I - Now what happened?

M - Akka, actually you know that their house is locked….

I - Where were you living till now, rinki? Hotel??

Rinki nodded making Ishita frustrated.

I - Aap log hamare sath chaliye…

Mr Bhalla tried to deny.

I - Pooch nhi rhi hu,bta rhi hu. Come.

They took Bhallas to their house. She introduced them to the servants and drivers, then told the helps to arrange their rooms till they had tea and snacks for them while Ishita went out taking rinki. After one hour they came back with Rinki's luggage and many more bags, she had bought necessary things and cloths for Bhallas and gave it to them. Soon the day passed, Ishita was in her office while Mihika tried to make Bhallas comfortable but they were sad and in their own grief.

Next morning, everyone was sitting for breakfast but Bhallas were not having it. At last, Ishita left the spoon in her plate making noise, gaining their attention and said,

I - Aap sabke khana na khane se sab pehle jaisa nhi ho jaayega. I know it's hard for you all but past mein reh Kar Kya milega. Think about the future, what you need to do and how you will sort it out. Uncle ji aunti hi, please apna khyal rakhiye, I promise main sab thik Kar dungi.

They nodded and started having breakfast when doorbell rang. The help opened the door and Ishita's assistant came and greeted her.

A - Good morning ma'am. Ma'am, jaisa aapne kaha tha, maine vaisa hi kar dia hai.

M - Kya hua Akka?

I - Mihika, you concentrate on your work. Jo ho gaya hai us par muh latka Kar Ghar baithne ki jarurat nhi hai. Get ready and go to your boutique and yes, take rinki also, she is also a designer, she will feel good and can do work also.

Saying she left to her room to take her bag. While rinki told his parents that she wanted to work in Mihika's boutique, she can help them while Raman denied saying they will handle the situation, she need not to worry when Ishita heard coming out of her room.

I - Agar farz nibhana hai to Kam Karo aur Karne do. Uske Ghar baithne se situation control nhi hogi. Degree frame mein lagakar wall par hang Karne ke liye nhi hoti. Rinki, you go and get ready.

She called the maid and told her to give food and medicine to Bhallas on time and to take care of them. She went out with her assistant. Seniors told Mihika to work.

Raman and Romi left for the office. Raman and Romi saw that many employees are leaving their company, no investor is ready to invest in their company, previous clients want their money back soon and they had no funds. They were discussing what to do next when the receptionist told them that someone came to meet them to invest the money. They went to meet the person only to see Mr Iyer and Ishita.

Mr Iyer - Hello my sons. Come we need to talk. (Both greeted him and sat in front of them not meeting eye contact) - I know you both are feeling guilty but my sons, aise nazre chura Kar kab Tak rahoge. I know everything happened here. Sorry I was stuck in Mumbai and couldn’t come earlier but phir jaise hi chance Mila, I came here. See these papers.

He said, giving them a file. They went through it and looked at him shockingly.

R - what's all this? How can you?

Mr Iyer - I'm not doing any favour on you. Just trying to help you. See No one is going to invest in your company till you gain what you lose. This is a bitter truth that you are proved innocent in the court, that everyone knows but no one wants to take the risk..

R - Then why are you…..

Ishita threw the paper weight she was playing with and went out angrily hearing him. While Raman closed his eyes in frustration, realizing he hurt her again when they were trying to help them.

Mr Iyer - Sorry, you know about her anger, galat bat usse bardasht nhi hoti. Hope you are getting what I want to say. See Raman, I’m not helping you out of pity or you were my relatives in the past but as a human being also. I had worked with your company in the past also. You need support and I’m giving you. I will take it back when you will gain your loss. And yes, one more thing, I always gave the best to my daughters and made the best decisions for them. Don’t let my decision go wrong. I just want you to prove yourself in front of the whole world, not to my daughters because they never lose their trust in you all. Think about it. Vaise meri choti wali beti apni akka ka har kaha maanti hai aur badi beti dil aur dimag dono se sochti hai. aur jab naraz hoti hai to jyada kuch nhi chahiye bas dil se realization chahiye…. that you have.

Bhallas and Iyers, two business based families living inDelhi. Mr Iyer and Mr Bhalla knew each other professionally and were goodfriends. When Raman and Romi joined Mr Bhalla in business, Mr Iyer started knowingthem too. Ishita was a lawyer while Mihika was a designer. Ishita used to helphis father in his business with whatever she can do. Once Mr Iyer suffered aloss due to his employee’s bertrayal. Bhallas helped him in overcoming it whileMR Iyer proposed the alliance of IShita and Mihika for Raman and Romi which Mrand Mrs Bhalla accepted. Ishra and Romika also agreed to their parents’decision. It was an arranged marriage. Both couples started meeting and knowingeach other. In between all this, Mr Iyer fall ill and they got married secretlyin the court on the day decided earlier as Mr Iyer wanted to see them happilymarried, only a few trusted servants knew about it. Bhallas were helping Ishmiin taking care of him as well as business. Both couples come closer even Romikahad already taken their relationship ahead but Ishra didn’t. After few months,Mr Iyer got fine and their lives got back to the normal routine. Slowly Ishratoo started falling in love with each other while their parents were deciding todo IshMI Vidaai followed by a large reception party to their relatives andfriends to disclose the news. Ishra didn’t consummated their marriage. Twoweeks passed like this. Then Ishmi found a difference in Raman and Romi’sbehavior but whenever they use to ask them, they denied saying office issue.Then one day, Bhalla’s lawyer came with two letters for IshMi along withdivorce papers making Iyers totally shocked. It was clearly written in theletter that they (Raman and Romi) don’t want to proceed in their relation now,it was arranged marriage, they tried to work on this relation but now theycan’t do anymore. It’s over from their side. They also wrote that there was nomistake of Ishmi but it’s a lack from Raman and Romi side, they are not meantfor Ishmi. It was not a big thing for Iyers to understand that there issomething wrong with them as it was not a try but they were happy in thisrelationship. They confronted Bhallas but they were not ready to say anything,even seniors were silent, so Ishita stopped herself, Mihika and Mr Iyer to askanything to them. She was also hurt but was always strong for her sister andfather. She never showed in front of them but cried a lot in herself over herlose, Iyers were hundred percent sure that they were hiding a big truth fromthem and it was more hurting for them. After their divorce, they heard themgetting married to their office employees, Shagun and Maya, both sisters. Bothfamilies never contacted each other, only Mr Iyer used to meet them in businessmeetings.

That night, both families had dinner together. Later, Ishitawas preparing for a case when she heard the knock on the door, she called theperson inside. Raman came inside but was standing at the door only searchingfor the words and she realized it’s him observing his silence. She didn’t lookat him and continued to be busy in her files but realizing that he ishesitating, she said looking up from the files but didn’t look at him. He wasstanding behind her.

I – Kuch kehne aaye the?

Raman got the much needed courage as she spoke those words inher softest voice from the time she met them and decided to help them. He cameforward but didn’t stand in front of her. He sat on the floor beside her. Shewas anxiously waiting to know what he wanted to say while he started taking adeep breath,

R – On our first meeting, you only said ki kisi bhi rishtemein vishvas ki importance utni hi hoti jitni ki zindagi ke liye saanse. Kisike vishvas todne se jyada takleef kisi ke vishvas par vishvas na karne se hotihai. Meri galti ki saja hum dono ko hi nhi balki hamari family ko bhi mili. EkWada kia tha maine tumse aur vo hi nhi nibha paya…. Tumhi ne kaha tha ki eklife partner se pehle tum meri ek achi aur sachi dost banna chahti ho jiskesath main apni life ki khushiyo ke sath sath gam bhi share kar saku, aur tumneuse fulfil bhi kia but I failed…. Hamari zindagi ki gadi shuru karne se pehlehi maine break laga dia tha. Tum to mere har dukh mein bhi mere sath khadarehna chahti thi but I couldn’t….. bas aaj ussi dost se mere is dukh ke samaymein sath mangne aaya hu….

He said with painful and broken voice and kept his head onher knee while she looked at him whose eyes were tightly shut, not facing her,surely trying to hide his emotions as she thought. Her eyes were filled withtears. She could easily feel his pain and helplessness at that time also whenthey were getting divorced and parting their ways forever which were meant tobecome one way and now also, she could feel the same. Their separation justmade their feelings stronger for each other, as she could never stop herselffrom thinking and caring for him that’s why she always had her eyes on him andhis every activity which was fruitful also. He was trying to control hisemotions hard when he felt her soft touch on his head and that was it, he brokedown into tears which he had controlled from long time, he tried to behavestrong in front of his family but not anymore, he got the strongest support ofhis life. He was crying while she didn’t stop him rather allowed him to pourout all his pain. When she saw his state getting worsen, she came to him on thefloor only holding his head and hugged him trying to console him while he wascrying for hurting her but it was more out of happiness to get her back, heknew very well that he never loses her trust. That night was the last night fortheir sorrows and their tears because from next day, there were only happiness,happy tears and if there was any sorrow then it was faced by them together with a smile.

Ishita was watching news on television all news channels were showing same news rinky came to delhi she met her family in jail her parents were crying romi and raman were also sad rinky said she will prove them innocent mihika came there she said she will help them she knows a lawyer who is best she will surely win their case rinky asked if she will really help mihika said her akka and appa have thought her to take stand for truth always even it's their enemy romi looked down feeling guilty ishita saw all news channel were showing bhalla family culprit bhallas were charged for domestic voilance and murder of shagun and attempt to murder of Maya mihika called ishita and asked her to take bhallas case next day in hearing ishita proved bhallas innocent maya and shagun were disgusting they blackmailed romi and raman to marry them because of that romi divorce mihika raman to ishita ishita took bhalllas to their home as their house was locked ishita asked rinky to work in mihikas boutique raman and romi were sad as no investors were read to invest in their company and old ones wanted their money back asap mr.iyer came there he offered to invest in their company liked mr.iyer and romi raman scene iyers always knew bhallas are hiding something they never misunderstood them ishra scene was lovely ramans talk was nice
