P A R T :: 01

"Ishu, think once before taking any step." Vandita said when she got the news about her acceptance for the marriage.

"Akka, I decided."

"But Reyansh. You love him, right?"

"Sometimes we don't get what we wants in life and Reyansh is one of them. And akka.. I don't want to look back into my life. Khud decision lekar dekh liya, kuch nahi mila.. Ab appa jaisa chahenge waise hi hoga. Let's see.. What's stored for me." Ishita said with a sigh.

Vandita took her hand in hers saying, "You deserve better, Ishu. And I know you will get your part of love."

"Akka, I don't have any expectation from this marriage." She replied looking down.

"I know. But who knows.. Kab kya ho jaye.. Kya pata kab koi phirse tumhare dil ke band darwaje pe pyar ke dastak de jaye.." Vandita said smiling.

"Ishu.." They heard their mother called out and walked in, "Aren't you ready yet? They will come any time."

"Don't worry amma. I will make her ready." Vandita said while caressing her sister's face when Mrs iyer came to her asking, "Are you okay?"

"Yes amma." Ishita replied with fade smile and hugged her mother. "Don't worry beta, everything will be fine." She assured.

The entire house was decorated beautifully, and everyone still running around to make the things perfect. "Is everything done?" Mr iyer asked when Mrs iyer came there, she nodded.

Just then, they heard vehicle sound. "I think they arrived." Mr iyer went to the door to welcome them.

"Welcome Bhalla jee." As Bhalla family arrived, they welcome them with hugging each other. "Where's your son?" Mr iyer asked.

"He's coming in next car with his sister and friend." Mr bhalla replied.

"Okay.. Come in, please." They walked in and settled on the sofa. "I don't believe that our friendship is turning into a different relation." Mr Bhalla said excited and they had a talk on random things when they saw their son walked in with his sister Rinky and friend Mihir. "There my son.. Raman.. Raman Bhalla."

As Mr Bhalla said, Mr and Mrs Iyer went to welcome them, Raman took blessings from them. "You took so long to come? We were waiting for you." Mr iyer said.

"Sorry.. We were stuck in Mumbai traffic." He apologized gently.

"It's okay.. Come, have seat."

Raman took seat along with the family members when servants served them drinks and snacks when Mrs Bhalla asked, "Where's our bahu?"

"She's just coming." Mrs iyer replied.

While both families were busy on talking, Raman was looking around the house when Mihir said, "Rinky, see.. Someone is impatient to see her."

"Yes, Mihir. You're right." Rinky teased.

"Stop you both." Raman warned.

"There's my daughter." Mr iyer said when everyone looked at the staircase where Ishita is coming down with Vandita. Raman was mesmerized seeing her, he couldn't move his eyes from her. "Bhaiya.. Control." Rinky slightly shook him bringing him back to his sense.

"Ishu, come." Mrs iyer took her near to the family when Ishita took blessing from Bhalla's.

"You're looking beautiful." Mrs Bhalla complemented. "Mr iyer this alliance is confirmed from our side." She said happily and turned at Raman asking, "What say puttar?" But he didn't reply when Rinky said, "Maa.. Dono ko ek dusre ko pehle jaan lene toh do."

As Rinky said, Mr bhalla replied, "Yeah. You should go and have a talk with each other."

Mr Iyer looked at Ishita worriedly as he felt if Ishita reject the alliance. He looked at Vandita who assured her in a smile. "Ishu, go.." Mrs iyer said.

"Come.." Vandita took them to the terrace and left from there.

Raman and Ishita stood there silently when he spoke, "Please, have a seat."

Giving a nod, they settled on their position but both remained silent. Finally, breaking the silence, Raman said, "How's your college going? I heard that you're studying MBA."

While Raman asked several questions, Ishita was lost elsewhere, she was thinking about those moments which she spent with Reyansh. "Ishita jee?" Raman called her when her trance broke, she looked up at him. "From when I am just talking. You aren't saying anything."

"Are.. Are you forced for this marriage?" He asked when Ishita looked at him stunned. She wondered what to reply when Raman replied, "Look if so.. Then you can tell me."

She nodded. "Okay.. Do you want to ask me anything?" She again denied. "Okay then.. I think we should go down." Saying this Raman left from there.

As soon as he left from there, Vandita walked in asking, "Did you tell him about Reyansh?" Ishita nodded. "Appa was worried about that."

"I know. But akka.. He asked me so many things but couldn't answer him, I was lost. Akka, why did Reyansh do that?" She cried while hugging her sister.

Raman walked down and took sit beside his parents when Mrs bhalla flicked her eyebrow and Raman approved her with a smile.

"Now we shouldn't late anymore Mr iyer." Mr bhalla said excited.

"Yeah, of course.. Tomorrow I will call the Pandit and will ask for an auspicious day for their marriage." Mr iyer replied.

As the elders got busy in talking, Raman was teased by his friend. "So?"

"What?" Raman asked.

"You like her."

"Like? Bhaiya has fallen in love with her. Can't you read his eyes?" Rinky teased.

"Stop imagining things, you both."

"That means, you don't like her. That we should cancel the alliance..." Saying this Mihir pretend to call Mrs bhalla when Raman said, "Hey wait.."

Both Rinky and Mihir looked at him with mischievous smile. "Okay, I like her." As he stated Mihir and Rinky side hugged him happily.

Ishita was sitting in her room broken. "I am going to camcel this alliance. I can't see you like this." Vandita stated and was about to leave when Ishita held her saying, "No akka."

"But Ishu.."

"Akka.. How long will you cancel each alliance? If you cancel them today.. Tomorrow appa will bring someone else.. Today or tomorrow I have to get married, right?.. And it's fact that Reyansh broke up with me. Ab woh laut ke nahi ayega. Akka, it will take time but I will be alright, please don't say anything to anyone. Appa has so much hope with this alliance, I don't want to break his hurt." She tried to convince her sister.

"Okay. But at least inform about your past to Raman. See..!! Usko bhi toh iss shadi se bohot si ummeed hogi."

"I will talk with him." She assured.

"Now come down. Everyone is waiting for you." Giving a nod to her sister, they walked down.

"Come. Sit here." Mrs bhalla said when Ishita came there. She took sit beside Mrs bhalla. "You know puttar, I always wanted a girl like you for my Raman and when Bhallaji gave me your photo, I instantly agreed as I know you are the perfect for my son." Ishita silently heard her as she had nothing to say.

Mrs bhalla took Ishita and Raman's hand and placed their hand on each other saying, "Ram milaye jodi hai." As Raman looked away awkwardly as all of sudden her mother did this while Ishita felt discomfort but still maintain her look and slowly took back her hand from him. Raman sensed something bothering her.

"Now we should leave." Mr bhalla said after having the dinner. "Tomorrow Toshiji will come here to fix the marriage date." Iyers approved the idea.

Biding adieu to everyone, they left when Ishita was silently going to her room when Mr iyer called her. "Yes appa?"

"Thank you. Thank you for agreeing." He said.

"Don't thank me appa. I know you have chosen the best for me, I trust you appa. And I am sorry.. Last day I disobey your decision." She apologized.

"It's okay. You understood everything, thats enough for me." He said caressing her face. "Now go and sleep. From tomorrow we have to start your marriage preparation. I will organize a grand wedding for my princess." He said excited while Ishita smiled with her broken heart.
