We weren't convinced due to the sudden character change .
Moreover I guess, the director who directs feel that when a man is angry they need to scream at the top of their voice.
Except for Ashok rest all others whenever were showing their big confrontation they looked like People living on footpath.
Be it Shagun , Raman, Adi, Ruhi etc.
The sudden change in gears was one ..but his overall look and body language doesnt seemconvincing enough in a aggressive avatar..
I wasn't really talking about the screaming...I wouldn't comment about shagun and ruhi ..because both actresses have a tendency to scream and most ineffectively in most scenes. .
But ashok and Raman have had some real good stand offs minus the loud voice ..purely through body language.their eyes... and the way they deliver their lines ...
Even anurag does that very well...
Raman was turned into a screaming banshee only in the last 2 yrs...but his most effective aggressive ..grey scenes have been the ones which focussed only on his body language and eyes ...
Case being the scene where he throws ishita off the cliff..in the chaddha track and then the scene in the memory loss track in that factory where Raman taunts ishita and ashok...
And then again recently in the track where simmi drugs him etc...
KP is an actor who does anger and negative effortlessly in many shades actually. Screaming Is Just One Most 'Visible' One
There are many more actually ..so my point is not about being able to scream or no ..or bring given the right place in the script...somehow even in scenes where he threatened roshni ..or argued with aliya...or went berserk...weren't as convincing as the ones he played nice guy...that seemed out of his comfort zone ..even though he made a decent attempt ..
