LAST SHOT
Raman was driving the car and ishita was just sitting beside him closing her eyes listening to the music and adiru were sleeping cuddled in each other on the back seat of the car. Suddenly he stop the car making ishita open her eyes.
Ishita -what happened Raman??
Raman -dhaba hai, let's go and eat something, waise bhi it's ten. Main thak gaya hoon drive karte karte.
Ishita -dekha, issliye hi I was telling u to take a driver or go by train.
Raman -chod naa madrasan, kitna lecture deti hai. Apni car ka joh mazaa hai woh train mein Kahan, aur driver ke saath toh bilkul bhi nahi. We will rest for sometime and then will go.
Ishita -but bachche toh so rahe hai.
Raman -so what, abhi uth jayenge. He said and opened the door. He has adjusted the car air mattress on the back seat on which adiru was sleeping peacefully. He picked adiru in his arms and said -get up bachcha, see dhaba hai. We will eat something. Saying so he walked towards the dhaba while ishita came locking the car.
Adiru got up rubbing their eyes and look around.
Adi-hum pahunch gaye papa??
Raman -nahi babu, we r on the way. See stopped here to eat. Aapko bhookhu lagi hai naa??
Adiru nodded and went to wash their faces with Raman. Raman washed their faces and brought them back.
Ishita was looking at the menu and said -what u people will eat??
Adi-main aloo parantha.
Ruhi -main paneer parantha.
Raman-main chai aur koi bhi parantha, dekh kar manga lo. U know my choice better.
Ishita smiled and ordered two Aloo parantha and two paneer parantha for them along with two tea. On adiru insistence, she even ordered milkshakes for them.
Ishita -manga liya hai but finish karna hoga. Waste nahi hona chahiye.
Raman -chod naa madrasan, hamesha mere bachchon ke peeche padi rehti hai. They r kids, let them enjoy.
Ishita -but Raman, khana waste nahi karna chahiye naa. Kitne bachche hote hai jinhe khana naseeb tak nahi hota. She said while her eyes got moist remembering their bad days.
Raman wiped her tears and said -but now the time is changed, ab hum saath hai and with god grace our kids never have to see such bad days, so just smile. He said making her smile. She kissed his palm and said -love u raman, love u for everything jaan.
Raman smiled and their order for served. Ishita start feeding adiru blowing air on the parantha while raman was just admiring them.
Ishita looked at him and asked what he is looking at with her eyes. He just open his mouth without saying anything. She smiled and fed him too. Raman start sipping his tea and she start feeding him too.
Raman was also feeding her in between while ishita was feeding the trio. Soon adiru finished eating and start having their milkshake.
Ishra completed their food and finally all went back to their car. Raman start driving while adiru settled on the mattress.
Adi -mumma, hum bole ho lahe hai.
Ishita -kuch khel lo, soon we will reach Mumbai.
Ruhi -ok mumma, bhaiya chalo mumma papa wala game.
Raman -mummy papa wala game, yeh kya hota hai??
Ruhi-hamala game hai papa, hum khele, aap dekhna.
Raman -ok, play. We will see. He said looking at ishita.
Ishita too smiled and adiru start playing.
Adi-please naa jaan, kissie do. He said pulling Ruhi to himself.
Ruhi -nahi laman, koi dekh lega.
Adi-koi nahi dekhega,mele chunmun cho lahe hai. He said making Ishra look at each other in shock. They gulped their saliva in utter shock while adiru were busy in playing their game.
Ishita got angry and shouted-yeh kya game hai aur Kahan se seekha??
Raman -what u r asking, do u want them to explain. Ask appropriately and tell him not to do this infront of others. Samjhi.
Ishita nodded and said -adi,rooh ,yeh sab game nahi khelte bachche, achcha khel khelte hai.
Ruhi -but mumma, ichme maza aata hai, hum hamecha khelte hai.
Ishita -kaha naa nahi khelna yeh, she said scolding them when Raman said -dheere jaan, they r innocent.
Ishita -but Raman,
Raman -dheere se samjao.
Ishita nodded and start making adiru understand that not to play this game anymore.
Adi -toh kya khele, mumma.
Ishita gave her mobile and said -isme cartoon dekho.
Adiru nodded and start playing, Ishra smiled seeing them and raman said -kitne badmaash hai yeh. We always thought they r sleeping. But sab dekh kar iski acting karte hai.
Ishita -haan dekho toh,achcha hua kisi aur ke saamne aisa nahi kiya. Warna we will be so embarrassed.
Raman nodded and said -but they r so cute, kitne cutely hume copy kar rahe the. He said smiling making ishita smile too.
Raman -tum bhi thoda rest kar lo, abhi thoda dur hai Mumbai.
Ishita -nahi, I am OK. Mumbai pahunch kar saath mein rest karenge.
Raman -haan, taaki phir yeh dono acting kare. He said and both smiled.
Raman continued driving and soon they reached Mumbai. They checked into their hotel and start getting freshen up. After freshen up, they rested for sometime and they went out for exploring the city.
At first they went to siddhivinayak as ishita wanted to thank the almighty for giving her such loving husband and kids.
All visited siddhivinayak and thanked bappa for their happiness. After that they went to explore film city, they enjoyed the place thourougly then went to beach.till evening they were all exhausted and finally went back to their hotel room after having their dinner. Raman had taken them to hotel taj for dinner, though ishita was denying him saying it must be very costly but Raman took her as he promised her once that he will take her to hotel Taj .they had their dinner and then went back to their hotel room. Adiru slept in the way only, Raman made them sleep comfortably and went to ishita, who was standing near window.
Raman hugged her from back and said -kya dekh rahi ho??
Ishita -nothing, just thinking how much our life changed for good. Hum aaj kitne khush hai, ek time tha, hum ekdum akele the, dukhi the. But we fought together and won our happiness.
Raman -haan, we were sad but never alone. We were always together in our battle, tabhi toh hum aaj jeet paaye. He said kissing her neck and she closed her eyes feeling his touch.
Raman -shall we too go to bed.woh dono bahut gehri neend mein hai, aur hamare paas extra space bhi hai. He said to which ishita nodded opening her arms. He picked her in his arms and took her to their bed. He lay her down on the bed and settled beside her, and soon both were lost in making love to each other celebrating their togetherness whike their little munchkins were sleeping peacefully cuddled in each other giving their parent the much needed privacy.
