Part 12
Raman sitting in his cabin trying to concentrate on the presentation but couldn't. His mind was wandering over their yesterday night talk. He closes his laptop and presses his forehead trying to think about Ishita.
His mind screams at him and says: you have done wrong with Ishita. You should have thought about Ishita before moving forward with intimacy.
But his heart felt it right, his mind again silenced his heart and pop up with an idea. His mind start conversation with heart making Raman lost.
His mind: you should stay away from Ishita.
His heart: why? She is my wife. We both areoving forward in the relationship
His mind: what relationship? Think about Ishita she is baby. And you. You are burdening her just to fulfill your needs
His heart: no. I didn't forced her. She has also given her affirmation
His mind: she is kid she doesn't understand anything you have to take decision
Getting tired with the inner fight Raman slumps on his table while his heart defeatedly says: then You tell what should I do.
His mind: let her live her life freely and be with her like his guardian not like husband.
His heart screams that it is much difficult to stay away from her but Raman looks on feeling determine not to get drown in the pool of feelings for the betterment of Ishita.
The rest of the day passed in blink, Raman returns at home at his usual time at home and finds Ishita giving him angry glares. He wanted to ask why she is angry and cajole her.
Ishita: why you didn't came to pick me.
Raman doesn't look at her and says: I was busy.
Ishita: Kal to aogay na?
Raman: no ..says bluntly.
Ishita looks on : why? She gets sad.
Raman: I am not your driver Ishita. I have business. Mukesh uncle will be your driver he will drop you and will pick you.
Ishita: drop kiyon? AP nhe drop karogay subah mein to free hoty Hain.
Raman: wo tumhari University door hai office say.
Ishita: per pehly to AP hi drop karty thy na. She pouts.
Raman: come on Ishita you are big girl. Okay. He cups her face and says: don't be sad I am going in study for work dinner khud kar Lena aur so Jana okay.
Ishita nods.
Raman: good girl.
Ishita smiles.
Raman moves to study room with heavy heart. Soon days start passing rapidly Raman role get reduce to guardian in Ishita life while Ishita gets busy in her education. With the burden of studies and Raman guidance Ishita personality shaped into a discipline person while Raman start missing the bubbly and childish Ishita.
One whole year passed, iyers we're happy with the changes in Ishita while seeing Raman getting into normal life bhallas we're happy that they chooses Ishita for Raman. Unknown to their parents that distances are growing wider between them.
As ishra anniversary getting closer iyers and bhallas start preparing for a grand celebration but Raman stops them.
Raman: maa papa please no celebration
Mrs bhalla: why puttar.
Mrs iyer: Raman Kanna. What happened.
Ishita was looking at Raman that why he is denying. Raman looks at Ishita and says: I am not stopping for celebration I am just saying that no grand celebration as Ishita exams are very near and I want Ishita to maintain her high GPA again.
Ishita smiles listening to Raman that how much he caring and understanding. More respect grew in her heart for Raman. She mouths thank you to Raman who smiles politely at her.
Their anniversary celebration plan got flop as Raman had to travel to out of country. Raman badly wanted to celebrate their big day together but couldn't get chance. He didn't had hard time to convince Ishita because she understood his work requirement maturely and didn't created any fuss.
Although Raman wanted her to get angry and fuss over this sudden development so that he can admire her childish antics and manofy her. He left for work while Ishita spends their anniversary alone remembering their marriage and their initial days. Thinking about their life Ishita start getting analyze that Raman is getting away from her.
She smack herself for not understanding the difference. From past ten month Raman is just with her but not like the way he was before. Their closeness is reduced to sleeping cuddling in bed where Ishita is almost on Raman while he trying to maintain distance in sleep also
Ishita: why Raman is doing this. Ishu you are foolish. Ab ayengay to poochon gi.
After some days
It was the day of Raman return. Ishita waiting for Raman to come. Raman enters holding his laptop all worn out. Ishita moves towards him
Raman: why you are still awake. I told you na to sleep you need to have sound sleep tumhain University Jana hota hai
Ishita: why you are late today apki flight to phely hi land hogayi this office Jane ki Kiya zarorat thi
Raman: importane meeting thi
Ishita: Raman.
Raman looks at her
Ishita: are you avoiding me?
Raman looks away and start walking inside but Ishita holds his hand making Raman look at her.
Raman: aisa nahe hai
Ishita: mein budhu Hoon raman.she makes a baby face.
His heart jumps seeing her making cute face his hands automatically cups her face.
Ishita: i am noticing that you are not spending time with me subah jaldi office jaty Hain aur raat ko late ate Hain. Mene koi mistake ki Kiya. AP gussa ho
She looked at him with tear filled eyes.
Raman: Ishita.
Ishita: you dont even hug me nowadays.tear fell from her eyes.Raman wipes it
Ishita: aur forehead pay kisses nahe dete
Raman: it doesn't matter Ishita.
Ishita: it matter Raman. Your closeness matters. Muje lagta that Kish adhoora hai per kabhi good nabe Kiya lekin apki doori mehsus karti Hoon. Raman. AP ishu say door kiyon hogay
Raman: Ishita.
Ishita pushes Raman and says: muje dekhain Raman mein kitna badal gayi Hoon. Sirf apky liye. Mein apky rang mein rang gayi Hoon. Bilkul apky rang mein.
Raman: I am tired Ishita
Ishita: Kiya apko abhi bhi mijse Pyaar nahe hua?
Raman looks at her.
Ishita: apne kaha that dheere dheere humain Pyaar hojaye ga apko nhe hua mujse Pyaar she ask cryingly.
Raman: what rubbish Ishita. He walks away to save himself from Ishita questions while Ishita feels dejected. She collapses on floor and cries saying: Raman doesn't love me.
