Part 46
Ishita was still smiling thinking about him when the peon entered with some files and gave them to her ,she opened the Giles and started doing her work . She was doing her work with utmost sincerity while people were coming and congratulating her now and then , when they came to know about her good news . It was after noon and Ishita saw it was lunch time but thought to have her lunch after completing this file .
Thinking so she continued her work when the peon entered her cabin and passed a beautiful pink rose bouquet along with a note and a parcel . She took the bouquet ,inhaled the smell of roses and asked " kisne bheja ".
P- mam ,Mr Raman bhalla .
She smiled fully and spoke taking the parcel " aap jaaiye ".
She then opened the note and read
" beautiful flowers for my beautiful preggy baby wife ,they are not beautiful as you are but still I thought they will complement you . I m sending your favorite idlies from best restaurant as
you were craving for them in morning , hope you like them ."
Love you ,take care of yourself ,I will come to pick you ,so wait for me.
Raman .
Ishita got happy reading the note ,she kissed it and spoke " I m so lucky Raman to have you in my life ".
She took her phone and was about to call him when her phone screen flashes his number ,indicating he is calling ,she immediately picked the call and spoke " I love you ".
R- what was that .?
I- I just love you a lot Raman ,how much you will pamper me in this one day itself .
R- I didn't do anything special ,just did some adjustments in your and mine working habit. moreover fulfilling wife's wishes are a husband's duty that too a Peggy biwi .
I- I know that ,but you know not all the ladies are so lucky ,only some ladies are lucky that they get such lovely and understanding family, and I m one of those . How badly I behaved with you all but you and mummyji ,didn't get angry with me rather you two are pampering me ,way too much .
R- baap re ,don't you think ,it was much long lecture . I m professor not you .
I- haan to sangat ka asar hai.
R- achcha ji , you just learnt lecturing from me ,madam I had many more qualities ,hadn't you learnt anything more from me .
He said naughtily, while ishita smiled fully and spoke " no I had learnt much more things ,can give demo ."
R- ok done ,now have your lunch ,meet you soon .
I- bolo na ,you keep talking to me and I will eat .
R- no jaan ,I have my lectures .you enjoy your idlies . chal bye ,see you soon .
Saying so they hung the call and ishita had her lunch ,then got engrossed in her work . It was about 4.30 pm when the peon informed ishita that her husband has come to pick her .Though it was not the first time when Raman has come to pick her but this time she was extra excited ,seems it was effect of her pregnancy . Soon She gathered her things and went out ,she smiled fully on his sight while he saw her with confusing eyes and asked " hey ishita , why are you so excited baby ".
I- aap bolo why did you come this early .
R- from now this is your work time only ,I will come to pick you daily at this time .
I- ok ,but my boss .
R- I had talked to him ,at first he was not ready but when I make him understand and also offered some contract of our company he agreed .
I- wow ,Raman you are my superman , you can do anything for me na .
R- not anything sweetheart , will not promise moon and stars but will try to do anything which is in my reach .
I- thats more than enough .
Talking so they settled in car and drove away , ishita was go on talking so much that she even didn't realized that they had stopped in a food joint which serve indian street foods . Raman signalled towards it and spoke " you must be hungry ,bolo kya khaaogi ".
She looked at the place and spoke " I was not hungry but now feeling something in my tummy ,seeing these mouth watering delicacies ."
R- them come and have them ,whatever you wanna eat .
I- I wanna eat kachori and chole .
R- don't you think ,its bit heavy for snacks .
I- no,I wanna eat them ,I will not take my dinner .
R- you know ,you were nice when you were angry ,you did whatever I say without arguing .
I- achcha ji ,thats why you were not manofying me . I was mad at you and you were enjoying my state .
R- nothing like that sweety but kachori will be heavy .
I- mujhe wahi khaane hai ,if you can bring it then we are going straight to home .
Raman shook his head in disbelief and went out to being her order ,thats when she saw a gift gallery and thought to take a sorry momento for toshiji . Thinking so she came out of the car and went to the gallery ,she bought a sorry momebto in jiffy and was coming back carefully ,thats when she noticed Raman ,who was coming to car after taking the kachories and some more snacks .She thought to reach to car before him and started walking fastly looking to Raman ,totaly forgetting that she is walking on busy road . Thats when a person banged with her and she was about to fall ,hitting her stomach on road . Her hands automatically went to her tummy and held it protectively while she screamed Raman's name with all her might . Till now Raman was done keeping the packet in car and was looking for ishita . He ran towards the direction ,listening to her voice and saw the a person holding ishita . Raman ran to her and asked being concerned " what happened ishita ".
She hugged him tightly and tried to speak but she couldn't form any word as her breath was uneven and she was shivering with fear .She just cried more and more ,hiding herself in him ,Raman cupped her face and asked" what happened baby ".
Thats when the man spoke " she was about to fall and I supported and stopped her from falling ,don't know ,why she is crying so much ".
Raman thanked the person and the person went while ishra too came to their car . Ishita was still holding her tummy with one hand and Raman with another hand . Raman made her sit in passenger seat and himself settled on wheels . He drove away from there but saw ishita was still in shock and was silent ,finally he asked " Ishita will you say something ,why did you came out of the car jaan ".
I-(with low voice )- what would had happened if I would had fell on my tummy ?.
R(shocked )- kya .
I(crying )- yes Raman we were about to loose our baby but believe me ,it was not my fault ,it just happened ,Maine kuch nahi kiya Raman ,it just happened ,you believe me na ,Maine kuch nahi kiya .
Saying so she started crying bitterly , Raman stopped the car and spoke pulling her to him " I do believe you but will you please tell me what had happened ".
Ishita narrated everything to him and then spoke crying " you know Raman ,the first thing which came in my mind when I was falling was of my baby ,I held my tummy tightly to protect him,wo safe hoga ".
She was asking being serious while Raman was smiling looking at her ,she got irritated and spoke angrily " here I m dying out of fear and you are laughing , aap bahut gande ho Raman ".
R- achcha ji ,just now you were crying hugging me and now I m bad .
I- to kya boloon ,you are laughing at me .
R- no sweety ,I was just looking and you and was wondering that if you are the same girl who was fighting with me and family for last two days , for not keeping this baby .how come you changed so much ishita .
Ishita understood and spoke " year Raman I m same girl ,it was mummyji who made me understand the beauty and importance of being a mother ,thats why I wanted to say sorry to her and also thank her but this all happened ."
She spoke crying again ,for which raman wiped her tears and spoke " no need to cry baby ,its ok nothing had happened and everything is alright ,you and my baby both are same ".
I- should we go to doctor
R- if you want we can go but before that we have to reach home ,ma must be waiting for us .
I- humm .
Talking like this they reached their house .
