Actor Karan Patel, who plays the doting dad Raman in 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' (YHM), is all set to experience fatherhood in real life. BT has it that Karan's actress wife Ankita Bhargava is in her second trimester and the couple's baby is due around November this year.

Informs a source close to the family, "Karan and Ankita are ecstatic with this development in their life. They are, however, trying their best to keep the news under wraps because they plan to announce it at the right time.

Ankita and Karan tied the knot three years ago on May 3, 2015 when the actor's show was rating very well in the evening prime time slot. Karan and his father-in-law Abhay Bhargava play their respective parts on screen, too. It's believed that their colleague, Aly Goni, played cupid between Karan and Ankita.
