I know every character us butchered and story is messed up currently, but this is an appreciation post for the cvs for giving some good old family bonds back in this track.👏
I am totally loving the episodes this week though there's a pinch of bhoot drama involved too. But this show was always about the family relations and its beautiful to see the dynamics of those relations. IshRa are being the cutest thing lately. Slowly and steadily they are getting back to their couple mode, Ishita isn't a bechari or a superwoman yet and Raman isn't a beast or a fool. And hence their scenes are doing the usual IshRa magic!
After IshRa, I m loving RomiKa very very much these days. Being the oldest characters of the show and quite good actors with decent chemistry, both of them really deserve what they are getting now after 2 years of patience. Its not only about their screenspace, but they are brother n sister of IshRa who have been really integral characters and the scenes involving the younger couple of the family in the story are important too to make the family look relatable. On individual levels, both of them have been IshRa supporters always, but this is the first time we are getting to see them as a couple working together. Idk, how they really help Ishita n this may also turn into a trouble for IshRa later since they are keeping things secret, but as of now, I loved to see how Mihika was worried for her akka, how Romi handled her with all the patience n understanding, how he ensured her that they'll take care of bhabhi without bothering her. This is how a couple should be who share everything with eachother at the right time and work together for their elders brother-sister who have always done a lot for them till now. This scene portrayed RomiKa as a good couple and good younger siblings together...and hence it was beautiful. I like Aly and Avantika together!
Simmi used to be the one to over-pamper Romi and spoil him and cover up for his wrong deeds. But now Romi has matured and Simmi has totally lost her brains. It was a good scene between Simmi and Romi too (except Simmi's mono). Romi used to love his Simmi didi too, but he is sane enough to understand that she has chosen a wrong path and he has the guts to say that on her face rather than being blinded by sister's love n covering up for her. I m in no favour of Simmi's redemption but this scene was a crucial one. I m not sure if that would impact Simmi anyhow or not, but the lady needed to know how loving her 2 brothers are who have done everything for her all their life and she has been torturing them only. She needed to know how it feels when ur own brother blames u. N I m glad they chose Romi for this scene rather than any other person, because he too is her brother!
We may call Sr. Bhalla's pendulums and rightfully so. But forgetting all their scenes in the past, I liked the one shown in this week. Toshi made sense finally. Though she shouldn't have believed that Ishita could murder Ananya, but as a mother she didn't behave partially at least. She was happy that her son was happy because of Ishita and she was sad for her daughter that she is sad because of Ishita. So keeping cordial relations with Ishita as of now was a good decision rather than ignoring Raman's happiness because of her and badmouthing her continuously. I liked that subtle and decent scene which was not OTT with Toshi hurling abuses at Ishita nor was it artificial with Toshi's sudden love on Ishita Puttar!
Adi is butchered in a single day for God knows what reasons, but I m liking the way IshRa and Mihika are involved in the issue until it doesn't turn ugly. Mihika and Alia were always like friends and it was good to see Mihika giving her correct advice. This was the same Mihika chitti cum friend of AdiRu preleap, and its good to see Mihika's character getting that same weightage again. Raman as a father did a good job by making Adi see sense without unnecessarily shouting on him or insulting him and Ishita was as always great with reading between the lines n giving the motherly advice I hope they involve Romi too. Adi-Romi too share a friendly bond and Romi can very well guide Adi in this matter giving examples of his past. It was good to see Ruhi filling the void of Ishita and Adi in the life of Alia today when she was leaving for the first day of her work. The nanand-bhabhi duo of Ishita and Simmi used to be such friends whom I adored, it was good to see the younger generation too keeping such relations and being eachother's silent support in the time of need without any over-excitement from Ruhi!
Iyers are at least yet trying to keep their issues away from Ishita and prioritising her happiness first which has returned after 2.5 years. It was good to see the mother daughter date today. Ishita needed this break as well as seeing her amma so happy after a long because of her too.
The story is messed up and writers give enough reasons to us to complain about Raman's memory loss. But I want to appreciate the writers for keeping the crime scenes away and emphasising the various family bonds. I know this is too early to praise them, but even a week long of stress free episodes make me thank them, such is the state of IshRa fans now. Thank u cvs for giving the optimum screen space to all the deserving characters, giving some beautiful family scenes and avoiding high voltage drama.😊
