Next day ishita was in her office when she revived her father's call ,she picked the call . She just had said hello when she listened him " hello ishu puttar , you reach home asap ,taking half day leave ".
I- why papa ji ?.
Mr khanna - don't ask questions from me ,just do as I said .
I- but papaji ,I have come to office few hours back and now ..
Mr khanna - ishita no arguments ,do as I said .
I- ok papa ji .
She hung the call and went to take half day leave from her boss . Soon she was not the way to her home ,she reached her house after about twenty minutes and saw some hustle bustle ,everyone was busy . She stopped her Lil brother and asked " ay sanju what's going on ".
S- arey tainu nahi pata ( you don't know).
I- nahi ,what's happening .
S- some boy and his family is coming to see you .
I(surprised )- kya ?
S- humm ,now let me go papa ji has told me to bring sweets from market .
Ishita made a dirty face while her brother went from there ,she went inside only to listen her mother " arey ishu has not come till now ,seems she will come after the boy and his family will arrive ."
Mr khanna - I had already called her , aati hi hogi .
That's when he saw ishita entering the house ,her father spoke loudly " lo ji aa gayi ishu ,now take her inside and make her ready nicely , if all went fine and ishu and Raman likes each other ,we will do engagement before he leaves for Paris . madhu ji bata dijiye apni kudi nu ki haan hi karni hai ,Bhalla's are not small people ,they own villages in Chandigarh . They are very nice from heart but can do anything for tgeuf family reputation ,so make your daughter understand everything ".
Ishita's mother nodded and took ishita inside ,almost dragging her . She gave a dark pink color anarkali suit to ishita and spoke " ishu wear this and dress properly ,achche se makeup karna , waise I know they can't deny you but still you should look very beautiful ".
Ishita got ready wearing that suit ,she kept her hair open and put a dark kohl in her dark chocolate eyes ,did makeup with light shade of pink . Her mother saw this and spoke " ye kya pheeka pheeka makeup kiya hai ,let me do ".
Saying so she applied a lot of blusher on her cheek making her cheek red then put a dark shade of lip color matching yo her attire . Ishita made a dirty face and spoke irritatedly " what have you done ,kitna loud makeup lag raha hai ".
M- haan to ,everything loud is Punjabi's signature mark .
I- kuch bhi ma ,I m looking like clown .
M- no you are looking too beautiful .
I- aapko to main hamesha hi beautiful lagti hoon .ma listen I wanna talk something serious to you .
They were talking when they heard the horn of car . Her mother told that seems they have come ,saying so she went out when ishita held her hand and spoke " ma please listen na ,I don't want..
She was still to complete her sentence when her mother spoke " ishu i m going to hall ,you to go to kitchen and come with sweets and snacks when I can you".
I- mummyji suno to .
M- later .
Saying so she went out ,ishita to unwontedly went to kitchen . Soon the Bhalla's showed up ,Ishitas parents greeted Bhalla's and called them inside . Both the father hugged each other and spoke " finally our friendship is turning into relationship ".
Saying so they hugged again then Mr bhalla introduced his son Raman to them . He took their blessing and all sat in the couch while Ishita's mother told " you all talk ,I will return with some sweet and snacks ".
Saying so she went to kitchen ,ishita was standing there making a sad and irritated face when her mother entered , she scooped Ishita's face in her hand and spoke " ishu puttar the boy is so handsome and good looking , family is also looking good . hope he likes you , you both will look too good together ."
Sating so she took the plate of sweet and snacks in her hand ,and went out instructing ishita to come with tea and mixture . Ishita not having any option went behind her mother . She walked to them slowly ,her mother took the plate and tray from her, then spoke introducing her " ji ye hai hamari kudi ishita ,puttar pairi paina kar ".
Ishita nodded and went to bhallas ,she without seeing their faces started touching their feet ,at first she touched Mr bhallas feet ,he blessed her fully , then she touched toshiji's feet she too blessed her then she again bend and was about to touch Raman's feet when he pulled his feet and spoke " arey don't touch my feet ".
Ishita looked up and they shared a brief eyelock which ishita broke and went further to touch another person that's when he stood and spoke " arey why are you touching my feet ,main to bhai se chota hoon ".
She raised her face and saw it was Raman's younger brother Romi ,all laughed at her while she went to her mother . Toshiji saw ishita and spoke " aapki kudi to badi soni hai ".
Mr bhalla - I told you na ,that I had chosen a beautiful and nice girl
Toshiji then asked some more things about her education and job ,then she spoke " I liked the girl ,Raman puttar ,do you want to ask something to her ".
R- no ma ,if you like her then I m ready .
Saying so Raman saw ishita again who was looking down ,down casting her eyes fully .Toshiji then asked " puttar do you want to ask something to my son ."
Ishita was about to say something when her mother spoke " arey ishu ke papaji ne to sad bata diya hai ,what she will ask . you people are not having anything ,khaao ji ".
T- humm.
Ishita wanted to talk to Raman but her mother stopped while Raman was so lost in Ishita's beauty that he can't see anything besides that . Soon their parents fixed ishra engagement next day ,Toshiji called ishita ,make her sit beside Raman take evil eyes from the couple ,blessed them together and gave a gold coin to her saying its shagun for your marriage . Toshiji kissed their foreheads while they took elders blessing . Soon the bhallas were gone ,the moment they were gone ishita shouted " mummy papaji ,how can you fix everything in just a blink ,i don't know any thing about him ".
M- ishu ,behave yourself ,how are you talking to your father .
I- then what should I do ,you people are not listening to me ,so I have to shout . I don't want this marriage ,cancel karo ,Jo Karna hai karo but I m not ready for this marriage .
Her father glared her and spoke " mudhu ji take her inside and make her agree for this marriage ,I don't want to see any fuss in engagement ."
Saying so he went out of the house .
