This is dedicated to the person who asked me to write on Raman and Ishita's current situation.

I hope it depicts their emotions properly.

Ishita stood behind Raman. He was facing away from her, she felt sick.
She wanted so much to be wrapped in his embrace once more.

Every step he took away from her physically was like another step out of her life
It was becoming hard to breathe as she watched him talk to Simmi.

She couldnt speak for fear of alerting Raman that she was crying, but her heart was calling out his name.
For once she just wanted it to be easy

Like she had spoke it aloud, he turned, finally facing her

Raman stepped closer to Ishita's crying figure
"Now whats wrong"
She wanted to touch him but she was so scared he would push her away

And then she was in his arms.
Nothing mattered more than his body against hers

She needed Raman to understand her plight, to just for once see how hurt she was and how much she needed her Raman.


And she knew forever was what you made of it
"Let tonight be our forever please" she whispered
Raman had no idea what was happening, but like he needed to comfort her, his body had a mind of its own

His arms raising and holding her

Raman's arms around her were the safety she needed from the negativity
And even if only in this moment

He was hers again, but she would always be his
Digging her nose into his neck she took in his smell

You always remembered how the ones you loved smelt
It was the scent you associated with home

She was so close to just giving up

She was clueless how to win this fight

It was a promise

She turned to walk away but halted

He wasnt sure what he felt for Ishita
But his heart hurt as her shoulders shook

"I cant look at you and say this and you wont believe me but I am your wife, your Ishita, your madrasan, the mother of your children, you have 3; Adi, Ruhi and Pihu"

She was right, he didnt believe her

With that she walked away
Further and further away from the man she loved and would always love

Pausing at the door, she turned to face him one last time
Her face tear streaked

Taking him in, she would savour this image of him
It would stay with her forever

Because forever could be for as long as you wanted it to be
And in these last moments as she stepped outside the door

She knew, that Raman would stay with her forever
If not in person, than in spirit
Always
